Unless Marvel comes out soon explicitly stating they're going to make a GR netflix show or an actual full movie, I sincerely doubt they're going to do any of that, especially any time soon. I doubt they would want the general audience getting confused between the two characters and I doubt they want to spend money on "the same thing" when there are a vast number of other characters they could be using their budget for, whether it be netflix or film.
TBH I could see Ghost Rider getting a Netflix show, it fits the tone they have and could be doable with a TV budget. I think it depends on how well received he is in AoS.

Punisher? [editline]23rd September 2016[/editline] Like this is almost exactly the same situation, near verbatim. Hugely popular name from the comics who's had films of his own and is associated with an iconic skull image is introduced into existing TV show sometime early into their career but well past their origin already in the midst of vigilante justice and are at odds with the protagonists. Hell the most expensive part of the character (the car) is already built, they can just reuse it. I'd imagine they'd likely change up the costume if he got his own solo but they still have a starting point with that too. And you could use a Ghost Rider Netflix show centered around Robbie as a springboard to reintroduce the other various Riders like Johnny and Danny as supporting characters. Solo and together they could fight a variety of Ghost Riders and other marvel villains from the A-List Blacheart or the C-List Scarecrow. Shit practically writes itself.

If something like that were to happen, you bet your ass there would be more Robbie Reyes to go around, and the season is still young. The reason the Strain got enough funding to finish out their run is they had a massive spike in season 2 which put them equal with American Horror Story at the time.
bikes
Nope. They have a global rider for that with standard indemnity, and having to have two muscle rides is three to four times the cost of an equivalent chopper, not even close. Also having an SD is union-mandatory, so that's tacked on as well. It has nothing to with stunt work and everything to with Jed, Loeb and Maurissa Tancharoen saying directly at CC saying you would see 'heroes of color and diversity' after being criticized by stuff like this: https://thenerdsofcolor.org/2015/03/31/whats-the-deal-with-the-poc-characters-on-agents-of-s-h-i-e-l-d/

In any event, for a TV budget, a car based Ghost Rider is safer and means you dont need to CG the driver while its in motion. Plus its a different take that disassociates itself from the Nic Cage version. Stronger, tighter, smaller scale characters, comparatively more interpersonal conflicts, etc. Theres a lot of reasons they likely went with Robbie Reyes, i wont deny him being a minority wasnt an influencing factor but i highly doubt it was the deciding factor or the ONLY factor. The TV and Movie divisions arent nearly as pedantic and stupid as the comic division since thats where most of the talent that didnt go DC or Indie migrated off to. I can imagine the train of thought going like this: 1- We need a big name comic character 2- We need more minority characters 1- Hey, what about Ghost Rider? 2- He might be expensive, the bike might be difficult to work with, very small if any real supporting cast that isnt another Ghost Rider, scale might be too big and expensive, might be jumping too far into the supernatural etc. 1- The new one has a car, he's a minority, he has a small but effective supporting cast, and most of his adventures happen around LA. 2- Okay cool.
Too bad there aren't any Marvel characters who perform sound-stage-related heroics.
He's busy talking with his dad about racism.

Oh jesus, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum back together again, now we just need Laura Dern and it's a Jurassic Park reunion

Life will find a way. Hopefully

Here's a cool article on how they made young RDJ for Civil Wars opening. http://uk.ign.com/articles/2016/09/25/how-they-made-tony-stark-younger-in-captain-america-civil-war I wish this technology was affordable enough to make Harrison Ford the star of the whole young Han Solo film. It's my favourite development of CGI. We could have a whole young Hank Pym film. When the new Wolverine is inevitably cast he could never visually age on screen. In 25 years they could make another Avengers film with the original lineup and set in 2016 and none of them would look older. It's a very good CGI now. Not perfect. In 10 years it will be unreal.
Spider-man Homecoming is in NY filming now. Just linking picture incase it's too spoilery for some http://puu.sh/rp1f3/6be5af83e3.jpg

Benedict Cumberbatch confirmed Doctor Strange for Infinity War/Untitlted Avengers Sequel http://screen.st/AB9XsiK
... what a surprise i mean, the russos did kinda make it seem like literally everyone would be in it, which makes sense since it's all about fighting thanos with the infinity gauntlet. i guess official confirmation is better than nothing.
I wonder if we'll get a civil war airport-like scene with every single hero going against thanos/whatever minions he has. Like just a 30+ minute fight scene showcasing everyone individually and neat team ups against thanos.

How expensive is that reverse age stuff I'd like to see young Dolph as Eddie Brock

[Sp]Fuck sake Turk [/sp]
Startin episode one. This intro is funky.
I'll eventually see it, once I eventually watch Jessica Jones.
No spoilers, but is there any references to the events of The Incredible Hulk?
My only real disappointment so far is [sp]radio edit of Bring Da Ruckus.[/sp]
Oh my god I'm an idiot. Civil War Spoilers. [sp]Gi-Ant Man[/sp]
