As a huge fan of Marvel and Venom in particular, I won't see the film both out of protest and because it's become clear that Sony can't do anything right.

If my memory serves me he at one point tried to kick Stan Lee out. He's also the reason why Marvel had to start signing movie deals with their franchises when the money got short.

Welp, looks like that Spider-Man teaser confirms the leaks, since [sp]that clip at the end shows him fighting Vulture in his original home-made costume.[/sp] Rumor has it that [sp]Pete gets pissed off with Tony trying to micromanage him/not taking him seriously, so he ditches the Civil War suit and goes back to the onesie during the climax.[/sp] That clip seems to confirm it. Also, Sony's Venom movie will be rated-R and start filming in the Fall. It's also gonna be entirely disconnected from the MCU and start a new Sony cinematic universe centered entirely around the Spider-Man properties they still have (just without Spider-Man). So they're basically trying the ASM "no you guys, Sinister Six movie and Black Cat/Sable and young Aunt May" thing again, but without Spider-Man. [sp]I give it until the Emoji Movie comes out and bombs before they start rethinking this strategy, but then again Sony has shown brazen commitment to bad ideas in the past (ie. Ghostbusters).[/sp]

Although I think alot of the complaints i've heard have come from the people who say, "Ghost Rider doesn't drive a CAR, he's Ghost [I]RIDER[/I] not Ghost [I]DRIVER[/I]" or "Why is Ghost Rider mexican?"

My main complaint about the Ghost Rider arc is them doing Robbie Reyes with Johnny Blaze's origin story. I wanted a satanic ghost uncle! :saddowns:

Didn't some Marvel person say that the [sp]Johnny Blaze[/sp] appearance in Agents of SHIELD was going to be a one-off thing and that he would not be appearing again or in any other MCU project? If that means we won't be getting show or something about him im rather sad.
