Oh shit, Punisher will be in Defenders? Or is it just advertising Punisher show?
I think Punisher season 1 could be the one to finally dethrone DD season 1 as king of the Netflix series

It'll definitely pay for the sins Marvel have committed with Iron Fist, I'm sure.

Make all the MAX comics into live action and it would be the best thing on netflix

I find it interesting that they're using the Thomas Jane skull logo.
To my knowledge its only ever been used in that movie and the 2005 game that was a psuedo sequel to the movie starring Jane.
Its kind of perplexing actually.

Also, Punisher is practically guaranteed to be amazing. Jon Bernthal is great, The Punisher is great, and theres a lot of amazing material to work with that just works perfectly with the Netflix Marvel tone (i mean hell, they adapted Kitchen Irish to a degree in DD Season 2 and that was :ok:).
I just want Barracuda.

After the bullshit Iron Fist debacle i doubt they'll touch that beautiful masterpiece of a character.
I could see the headlines, because people would be too thickheaded to understand Barracuda properly. That and the creators would also need to understand Barracuda properly because he walks on a thin line that to the untrained eye looks like a racial caricature but in reality isnt.

They have the old movie skull, the new one on his chest and the original on the wanted poster, why so many skulls

Technically the new skull is the old movie skull but spray painted, it has the same shape.
But yeah, theres the Tom Jane skull and the Bradstreet skull on the wanted poster.
Weird.
Bernthal is a big fan of Dirty Laundry and drew inspiration from it. They prolly use the Jane skull as a nod.

Its a spoil-the-whole-film kinda trailer if you want to avoid those
I am very, very excited for this.
I guess they're sticking with the "show a cool 5 second part of the trailer before the trailer" rule? Why? Is it because the same trailers are shown as ads before videos, and they want people to actually pay attention to the ad?

i honestly didn't mind teasers for trailers, teasers for teasers, or any of those other trends people love to complain about
but holy shit, 'trailer within a trailer' is just the lamest fucking thing

That glaring "SONY PICTURES" on the thumbnail is annoying.
Late to the party, but in Iron Fist [sp] I got the feeling that Madame Gao was looking at Danny through the wall when she was on the screen. Does she have some mystic power? [/sp]

[sp]She threw him into a wall with her fucking mind, and you're asking of she has any mystic powers?[/sp] :v:
I heard she totally does card tricks

Did you even check if it was already posted? :v:
I don't give a flying fuck about Spider-man, but I'd go watch the movie just for that Vulture
But nothing, not even a mention of Dare Devil on TV in the background? Even Agents of Shield got Fury, Sitwell, Maria Hill and the Triskelion, so there was some crossover. But Netflix guys seem to be limited to vague references
So the Netflix heroes don't mention get mentioned because those 2 guys, hate each other? Far out, Hollywood producers really are morons.
They had plans to have Daredevil in Civil War if Black Panther or Spiderman didn't work out

Source?
Source?
I honestly can't find it but I remember them mentioning it. They also mentioned casting someone else too. I read it in this thread.
I'm hyped for that movie but holy shit what an awful trailer, it literally gives away everything (and in order, no less)! James Gunn mandated that all GotG2 trailers only contain footage from the first 30 minutes (and anything beyond that be brief shots presented without context). Why couldn't they do that for Homecoming? It clearly makes for objectively better trailers.
Really, they shouldn't have put in anything beyond the ferry scene, and that includes [sp]the Iron Legion coming and saving the day, then Tony taking the suit[/sp]. Like, holy shit, thanks Marvel, not like I wanted to watch that major action sequence and think "I wonder where this is going", god forbid I feel any amount of suspense while watching your movie.
/Rant
But yeah nah the movie looks cool and I really hope it doesn't end with Peter going "thank you Mr. Stark you were right Mr. Stark lemme rub your dick Mr. Stark I love the suit Mr. Stark"; I wanna see Spider-Man mature on his own, rather than play sidekick to Iron Man (especially considering he is (or at least WAS) Marvel's flagship character).

Incidentally, I REALLY hope they have the good sense to not kill off Vulture. Marvel usually has the good foresight to keep villains like that around (Sinister Six would be a hell of an event once we're done with Thanos), but he's seen Peter unmasked. So either he's dead or we get a Vulture who knows who Spider-Man is for some reason. Or they pull a Justice League Unlimited and just give us a good ol' "I have no idea who this is" moment.

Disney is going to assblast Sony into oblivion and get those rights back no matter what at this point.

Yeah no, either Disney strong arms them into continuing the partnership or they will go full nuclear and get the rights back with cash and/or legal-fu.
