Rumor mill claims that[sp]Stan Lee appears in GotG Vol. 2 as Uatu the Watcher. Problem is, he's a Fantastic Four property. Most interesting[/sp]
At long last [sp]Stan can finally stop breaking my immersion.[/sp]
Looks like it's true after all. Lol, it's kinda funny seeing how people have jokingly entertained it as a theory for years
Looks like GotG 2's story is starting to leak all over the internet, if you care about spoilers I would tread lightly.
So Zoe Saldana from GotG had an interview where she talked about the next Avengers movie and said something along the lines of [sp] GotG just shot their part for infinity war and we have to go back for "Gauntlet" later this year [/sp] Wonder if that's a code name or what the title may be

Oh hey it makes sense now. [sp]Infinity War is Thanos finding the Infinity Gems and assembling the Gauntlet. Infinity Gauntlet is him using the Gauntlet.[/sp] Okay, now i understand.
Managed to fix this thing in time to wear it to Guardians of the Galaxy today: I'm a bit of a doofus for doing that, but whatever. [sp]If you're looking for a spoiler GotG, all I'm gonna tell you is batteries[/sp]
Was at the local premiere for GOTG 2 yesterday. [sp]Aside from some minor plot issues, absolutely loved it. I can understand a bit more why they spoiled Starlord's father in the trailers now since he basically shows up and reveals who he is straight away. Felt like every character had their own little mini-arc going on which was nice, but Starlord's is just... meh. They're playing up how awesome his powers are the entire movie and take them away at the end for some bullshit excuse about his powers coming from his father and etc. CGI ranged from good to fucking atrocious, especially with Ego's space tumors. Ego himself is pretty poorly developed, he goes from being friendly to a fucking psycopath in seconds. Most of the humor is good but it feels like there's a lot of unnecessary stuff, like the Sovereign arcade or Ego making out with alien tentacle monsters.[/sp] Overall, it's great but it's not without problems.
New AOS episode tonight. I have a very bad feeling about this. [sp]I have a feeling Fitznazi is going to kill Simmons when she tries to make him remember who he is.[/sp] Hoping I'm wrong.
That was a good episode (aired here in Atlantic Canada 2 hours ago) God damn I love this season. Probably my favourite season so far.
I'm still disappointed at the lack of magic this season. Like, I understand there's a budget, but it feels like a waste to just have it be tech that does impossible shit, considering that's par for the course in Marvel.
AOS [sp]I wonder if they'll bring back Ward/Tripp/Radcliffe or even Hope to the real world[/sp] :v:

[sp]"Hydra tells you alternative facts"[/sp] I see what you did there Marvel
[sp]"Hydra tells you alternative facts"[/sp] I see what you did there Marvel
A couple of episodes ago they did something along the lines of making the country great again
That was a good episode (aired here in Atlantic Canada 2 hours ago) God damn I love this season. Probably my favourite season so far.
I wanted to see Hunter and Bobbi in the framework, but I guess they won't show up. :[
So in last night's AOS episode, I guess [sp]Aida is almost done building herself a new body outside the framework and is going to override real Fitz with Nazi Fitz?[/sp] Well this should be interesting. And by interesting, I mean positively horrifying.
I kind of want [sp]Nazi Fitz[/sp] to stay in there.
Off to the cinema tonight to see GOTG and GOTG2 in a back to back screening. I'm very excited.

Apparently Bakshi asking a the women out for furniture shopping is also a reference?
Apparently Bakshi asking a the women out for furniture shopping is also a reference?
Makes sense, it seemed very forced

I envy you people so much - you seem to enjoy AoS lately, and I'm still not on board. The way I see it, for every neat thing they do story and character wise, they manage to produce a fuck up 2 times bigger. [sp]I really like that they decided to kind of jump the shark with the whole Framework premise, but the "love story" subplot with Fitz and Aida is so lame it kind of hurts. So first the writers poke fun at all the "X wants to be real boy/girl" cliches when she tries to steal the book; then they pull the same cliche - what the fuck? The russian villain is gigantic waste, he's too goofy to be taken seriously, and not goofy enough to be entertaining. The subplot about Fitz's father is pretty good; but it revolves around the whole love thing with Aida, so I can't properly enjoy it[/sp]

Watch what you enjoy, skip in the episode whenever you fee like it.
Good to see Marvel's TV is just as subtle and nuanced as its comics :v:
Unlike Marvel Studios, Marvel Television is still firmly a part of Marvel Entertainment and under the oversight of Ike "If your kids are gay get ready to slay" Perlmutter.
I only noticed the first two, the 2nd one I didn't get the reference.
boys i wrote a small review for volume 2 if anyone cares
i saw guardians vol. 2 too and i disagree, i fairly enjoyed it. i think it still has heart sure, vol. 2 is more about the guardians themselves than the galaxy and it does miss the adventure spirit of the first one but all the characters are likeable and already established from the previous movie. everyone get their own little arcs and while there are still some pretty colorful settings to look at, the movie remains self-contained until the third act. the ending is pretty much identical to vol.1's so i don't get all the complaining and i also liked the villain, [sp]kurt russel does a fine job as ego[/sp]
