It'll probably not happen, since James Gunn supposedly hates Richard Rider, for some reason, which is a bummer, since Nathan Fillion would be a great fit for him

The season finale of SHIELD was just awesome. [sp]SHIELD IN SPACEEEEE. Also was the portal Robbie made suppose to be the same kind used in Doctor Strange? It had the same FX, except everything on the other side was blurry[/sp]

So Marvel officially has just this summer to go buy the rights to Spider-Man. Tom Hardy is a perfect casting choice and it just figures he'd get stuck in Avi Arad's latest "let's just make something shitty so we can retain the rights" garbage-fest. It's safe to say that Sony Pictures makes me angrier than any movie studio has any right to. [editline]19th May 2017[/editline] The only silver lining is that maybe, MAYBE, if the Emoji Movie tanks, Sony will go running to Marvel for some pocket-cash (and Spidey/Venom will DEFINITELY be on the table). I don't think I've ever hoped that a movie bombs as hard as I do now (at least, not since Sony's Ghostbusters remake last summer).

Fun fact, he also did the soundtrack for the Jurassic Park: Lost World game for the PS1 and Saga Saturn. I though it was funny that he did the music for a JP game and then ended up doing the music for a JP movie.

I really doubt he would compose an orchestral version of the theme and then train to do it with an actual orchestra just for fun, so I guess it shows up in the film? It'd be really cool to hear in the credits or something. On the other hand, the theme is probably owned by ABC, right? But then again, Marvel and ABC do stuff together, so they could've licensed it.
