The Iron Man poster at least offers some focus and some structure.
Marvel's posters are always fucked up, why are we surprised?
They always fuck up their theatrical posters. Their Teaser posters always look good.
Ant-Man had a pretty fantastic teaser poster, that one where it's just blank white with the little speck in the middle.

there's also thought put into the color palette, rather than looking like ronald mcdonald ate the suicide squad poster then shat it in a bucket of skittles
I hope Spider-Man's cameo is good in this Iron Man movie

Ant-Man had the best marketing out of all the MCU movies imho
Spiderman is quickly approaching to be the worse.
thats what you get with sony pictures
Looks like more footage is coming out of the GoTG ride since it is opening tomorrow. Here is some more footage of the queue, along with some from the ride and preshow (where there is a Rocket Raccoon animatronic):

Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal are producing the project, which has an October 2018 release date and is planning for a fall start.
Chris Yost, who worked on the upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok, is writing the most recent draft. Lisa Joy, the co-creator of HBO's Westworld, also worked on the script.

The Rocket Animatronic looks fantastic, also surprised to see one of the Ultron bots in the collection

"Hey, what if two characters who have little to nothing to do with each other teamed up because they're both GIRLS who know SPIDER-MAN"
Sony is cancer, Disney should just drop the 4 bil and spare us from this shit.

Apparently one of the things in the collection is [sp]Stormbreaker, the hammer used by Beta Ray Bill[/sp].

Oh yes please.
Looks like someone recorded the whole preshow for the ride:

I wonder if they're actually gonna bother making this ride canon.
Like, if we're not gonna get some throwaway line in Infinity War from Del Toro about how they destroyed his facility a second time or something.

[sp]Isn't the Milano destroyed in GotG2?[/sp] The video also mentions [sp]Mantis being on the Milano[/sp] which kind of makes me wonder where this would be playing out time-wise. I guess during GotG2?
[sp]Isn't the Milano destroyed in GotG2?[/sp]
James Gunn mentioned during his facebook Q and A that [sp]the Milano would be repaired and be featured in future installments[/sp].
EDIT: looks like there is also a video that plays within the queue with a Stan Lee Cameo:

[sp]Looks like this takes place after the second movie, since Groot is slightly older[/sp].

here's the actual ride:

I figure it takes place right after Guardians 2, but before the [sp]teenage Groot post-credits scene[/sp].
This takes place in a weird place in the canon, Mantis is there, but Peter still has his Walkman. I don't think it's canon at all

i forgot how underwhelming the california tower of terror was
I mean, the ride ends with [sp]them escaping with Cosmo[/sp], it'd be pretty cool if he showed up as part of the team in the movies.
[editline]25th May 2017[/editline]
But yeah, the fact that they name-drop the Walkman makes me think it's non-canon.
i forgot how underwhelming the california tower of terror was
Tower of Terror is still my favorite right at Disney Land and World.
I read somewhere that this is in it's own offshoot canon. So they just took whatever they wanted from the movies and jammed it together mostly.
Are we really debating on whether an amusement park ride is canon or not.
Are we really debating on whether an amusement park ride is canon or not.
If you think this is bad, search for the canonical debates about the original Star Tours and the Third Death Star.
Also, the Grand Opening Ceremony just happened, which includes the CEO of Disney and James Gunn:

Oh Boy don't get me started on Star Tours especially with the fact that Jakku with Finn and the Death Star not exploded could exist at the same time in the ride
Oh Boy don't get me started on Star Tours especially with the fact that Jakku with Finn and the Death Star not exploded could exist at the same time in the ride
Star Tours Adventures Continue was always designed to be non-canon, while the original ride is canon (in the old EU canon) depending on who you ask.
EDIT: James Gunn just confirmed the ride is not canon with the MCU:

Though, I wonder what he means by 'Guardians Theme Park World'.
It not being canon does not necessarily mean it has no implications on a further movie.
Very little, i'd assume, but [sp]Stormbringer[/sp] is some very specific shit, and James Gunn was evidently involved.
Mostly just hoping for it but still.
The New Mutants, the long anticipated X-Men spinoff movie, is going to be a comic book film that goes in an unusual direction. “We are making a full-fledged horror movie set within the X-Men universe,” director Josh Boone says. “There are no costumes. There are no supervillains. We’re trying to do something very, very different.”
x
 Sounds like Trank pitching Fant4stic. Wonder if it will be gutted this time.
"horror movie" / "no costumes" / "no supervillians"
But why? wat
Especially "no costumes". They say that like it's a good thing.
The only movie they've done with actual costumes was Deadpool, so "no costumes" shouldn't be some big accomplishment for them.
I would be more impressed if Fox finally got off their asses and designed costumes for these characters.
