How do you have a superhero movie with no supervillians?
Maybe it's from the view of regular people being hunted by unenrolled mutants? Like a regular horror movie but just tied in to xmen for some reason
I'm not opposed to exploring the genre. We've had only a few superhero movies that really commit to turning the genre on its head, and I don't mind getting more. With that said, this does sound like an exact repeat of Josh Trank. New Hollywood startup (only directed 5 feature length movies) with an ~unique~ idea, in over his head, bound to get fucked over by studio execs. Eh, let's see how it goes
I saw you guys saying it's Sony's fault (Which of course it is) that the new Homecoming poster sucks but I blame a bit of it on RDJ as well

Unless ive been unaware of Robert Downey Jr's involvement in the poster making process, it goes to Sony.
i guess he enjoyed the new ride. :v:
So both Guardians of the Galaxy and Doctor Strange were featured in Disney's Hollywood Studios new projection show: I wouldn't be surprised if more Marvel or MCU based attractions get announced at D23 in July, especially with the rumor of Disney's California Adventure is getting a Marvel Land.

With that rumor, is it more than just an easter egg?

Also, as a huge fan of Tower of Terror, that Guardians ride seems cool.
According to Splash Report, Sony is planning an Avengers-style ensemble movie that would feature only the women of the studio's burgeoning Spider-Man universe. In addition to Black Cat and Silver Sable, the team would consist of Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman), *Charlotte Witter (Stunner), Sarah Ehret (Jackpot) and Cassie St. Commons (Dusk).
Conversation Sony had after seeing reviews for WW: "Wow Wonder Woman is getting great reviews lets refocus and have a FEMALE ENSEMBLE CAST" "Great IDEA!" Too bad part of Marvel's deal with them wasn't if Spider-man in MCU does well you have to agree to not do your own things with other spider-man characters
To be fair, they've had this idea for ages and and I think they still want to call it The Glass Ceiling
Sony on a proud quest to continue the tradition of/return to the status quo of making shit movies about female superheroes so they can say that female superhero movies don't sell.
To be fair, they've had this idea for ages and and I think they still want to call it The Glass Ceiling
Literally the only reason why the Ghostbusters was all female. I have no idea how they have not mutinied and gotten rid of her, even her colleagues think she is incompetent
I'd honestly love to see a film about a team of women superheroes, but I don't trust Sony not to cock it up and make something cringeworthy. God, I just wish Sony would take their dick out of Marvel so we could see Venom, Black Cat, etc done RIGHT.
Oh boy, watch them call everyone misogynists when it turns out to be shit.
What if MCU makes an A-Force movie and it ends up just like Ghostbusters :vs:
So according to WDW1974, the leaker of the Guardian of the Galaxy Ride, he expects Marvel Land to be revealed at D23 and also according to him GoTG 2 didn't meet internal projections:
No DLP thoughts yet. Soon. Just heard from a kind Spirit what I have been saying for many months now. For all the FL projects being tossed around (leaked) these days, if the project doesn't have an internal green light by early in the next fiscal year, it won't be part of WDW's 50th. They do -- believe it or not -- have a sorta road map. While I expect announcements at D23 this summer (when I shall blissfully be on the other side of the globe as bloggers try to get Chris Pratt or maybe even Kevin Feige to talk for 20 seconds -- BTW, there used to be a guy on the Tweeter that would talk with all the fanbois with the same last name ... Kevin's little bro? anyone know?), I would be VERY surprised if they are not focused on Marvel heavily AND recently opened stuff like Pandora. I don't see them giving any hints into WDW projects. That's what the next one is for. BTW, since y'all love derailing my threads with movie talk, it seems like GotG2, while greatly successful isn't coming close to what Burbank had projected. And Pirates ...well, sadly, I do think with the film doing this well, they will take it as a sign to continue making films to pay Captain Jack's large debts.Especially, when you see how popular the film is in China and Disney having an entire Pirates themed land at SDL.
There was a disney channel thing for Spider-man with a lot of the actors talking about the movie and showing more scenes. here's a version that isn't skipping but it misses out on a couple minutes it seems https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-B43x8PP3s New footage is nice to see and a lot of insight from the actors/director/producers I think the biggest thing I took away from it, [sp] is that they're showing off a lot more of the action but not a lot of the school stuff and everyday life as parker. [/sp] So I think that's where this movie is going to shine.
Leaked scene from infinity war.
Getting a little extreme with redesigning the Ironman suit every new movie :v:
Leaked scene from infinity war.
They had to travel to a different universe to find other versions of themselves to help defeat Thanos only to find out those are actually all farmers and Tony is their challenged cousin
I kinda hope tony's suit looks more in line with his 2007 suit. I think that's the best one
I really liked his matte look in IM3
So if I'm reading this right, Guardians 3 will serve as a template for a separate Marvel Cosmic Cinematic Universe.
I've really liked every suit so far.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/xzb13A6.jpg[/t]
"Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. "But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life."
x A teaser will air tonight during the NBA Finals.
Why are Marvel so awful at posters? The lighting makes no sense. But aside from that, hype
Thanos vs Black Panther Who can sit in their chair/throne the longest
