Maybe it's just me, but it feels like Luke Cage has an over-reliance on [sp]"messy wound scenes." There's so many scenes that are just dedicated to stitching bulletholes in people.[/sp]

I misread that as "buttholes" for a second and didn't even blink.
the episode 6 [sp]scene where cottonmouth shoots scarfe was like, very raw. like something out of a tarantino movie (there are probably better comparisons to make but that's the most accessible one)[/sp]

Smokes, dude, how soon are they fast tracking this?
I'm expecting this time next year unless Defenders is already slated for it
Defenders hasn't started filming yet, has it?
Luke Cage started filming like half a year ago, at this rate it looks like we'll get Punisher around March or April, which is exactly when we got Daredevil Season 2.
Iron Fist is probably going to be in March/April/May though
One thing I don't understand about Luke Cage is his complete willingness to beat the everloving shit out of every single henchmen of Cottonmouth, but the dozens of times Cage and Cottonmouth are in the same room together, they just have a modest talk (as far as enemies can go). Why doesn't he just beat the shit out of him too? It would solve so much of the entire story in like, the 2nd episode :v:
Luke Cage was better than Jessica Jones, but not as good as Daredevil. [sp] Cottonmouth seemed like a very complex guy, but Diamondback was a much better villain, he just seems really threatening and now he's getting Cage's superpowers, didn't care for Shades at all, he seemed like a very ratty sort of guy. I was a bit disappointed Claire Temple was the only character to jump over from another series. Funny how Romero goes from one New York show to another, even acts the same. [/sp]
Isn't Harlem pretty safe these days?
[sp]didn't care for Shades at all, he seemed like a very ratty sort of guy.[/sp]
OBJECTIVELY shitty taste.
[sp]I was a bit disappointed Claire Temple was the only character to jump over from another series. [/sp]
You forgot about Turk and [sp]Trish Walker.[/sp] In fact, it had more crossover characters than the previous two shows.
Isn't Harlem pretty safe these days?
So is Hells Kitchen, the canon explanation is Chitauri Invasion.
Also, last year I stayed at 666 St.Nicholas avenue, so I'm curious to know how far away Luke Cage was filmed.
OBJECTIVELY shitty taste.
An opinion's an opinion. I'm not saying he's bad character, but he did bug me at times.
You forgot about Turk and [sp]Trish Walker.[/sp] In fact, it had more crossover characters than the previous two shows.
Ah ok, I forgot about Turk, didn't see [sp]Trish Walker[/sp].
[sp]She doesn't physically appear but in episode 5(?) her talk show is playing for the entire intro and she's talking about Luke[/sp]
Official date for Iron Fist is March 17th.
Another crossover was(DD S2 spoilers) [sp]the black guy from the DA's office. The one that was with the DA that got blown away in her office. He showed up in the command vehicle during the standoff. Oh and Fisk's JJJ looking lawyer.[/sp]

idk dude, purple man is second only to fisk as a villain. I really liked jessica jones, I think its apples and oranges

Check out all those knocked out dudes. After LC and JJS mediocre fights I have high expectations of Iron Fist
idk dude, purple man is second only to fisk as a villain. I really liked jessica jones, I think its apples and oranges
For me Jessica Jones was too sadistic. To each his own I guess.
DD Season 1 > Luke Cage > DD Season 2 > Jessica Jones, in what's purely just my opinion.

They're all pretty fantastic shows, however.
DDS1=Punisher S0>Luke Cage=DDS2>Jessica Jones
Eh I liked Daredevil season 2 but it was the weakest of the shows in my opinion, the Punisher bits were fantastic but the Elektra half was mediocre.
Punisher is the only thing keeping DDS2 in front of JJ in my line up.
I liked Jessica Jones
I liked Jessica Jones
I liked it.
I just like literally everything else on Netflix more :v:

Well i mean, theres really no other way to do it, Harlem and Hells Kitchen are pretty integrated with their characters.

I couldnt finish Jessica Jones, i got to like right after the house and just stopped, it was getting way too repetitive.
My only major complaint in the story of Luke Cage so far is [ep 6 spoilers] [sp]how Luke JUST so happens to eat at a diner Claire frequents JUST as he happens to need a medical professional for Scarfe right after[/sp]
Felt kinda too convenient.

Well that's unfortunate, it's after that that the show actually starts getting real good.
Every scene with Elektra I had my face in my phone almost the whole scene. Very boring imo. I don't think the actress did a great job.

elodie young was fine, my problem was with the character. she was interesting as a cold and manipulative assassin in her first few appearances, she was obnoxious as a [sp]whiny 'we belong together' romantic interest[/sp]
The Elektra/Hand stuff just wasn't as interesting as the Punisher stuff.
Punisher arc was top-tier Netflix MCU, but once Frank starts showing up for maybe 5 minutes an episode, if that, things get a lot duller.
