Is there any news whatsoever on a Antman II movie?
I thought Ant-Man and The Wasp was on the release schedule?

If they were, I must have missed it
No I mean it's one singular film titled 'Ant-Man & The Wasp', I'm pretty sure that was confirmed a while ago.
Oh, it appears it's less than a year away, how did I miss this
It's going to be the third movie of the 3 movies in 2018
i'm so hyped to see if there will be a hero circle like the other avenger movies
30+ heroes[and villains](?) all in the same scene... that will be so incredible to see

TL/DR:[sp]Let's watch a load of nerds on the internet have a shitfit about this[/sp]
well thank fuck for that.
I bet it was Pascal's idea
oh it was definitely Pascal's idea. She did Ghostbusters 2016 for crying out loud. Last time I heard anything non-marvel from her it was a Zoe Q biopic. If it was meant to "troll nerds" I have no doubt in my mind she did it.
Honestly, given that her only film and television credits are Disney related, I wouldn't be surprised if there's someone in Disney who wants her to be mainstream. But I wouldn't put it passed it being Pascal's idea either.
well yeah that's 100% why she got cast into this movie but we're referring to the [sp]mary jane bs[/sp] not her being in a movie that's frankly out of her league.
What a terrible casting choice, why would they ever hire an actress with even a moderately symmetrical face to play Squirrel Girl? Hopefully they can touch her up in post to CGI out her irises and really make that upper lip POP! Applying a heaping helping of liquid cement to her face would really bring Erica Henderson's artwork to life IMO.

She wasn't always like this... :(

Yes, yes she was.
The joke was funny once. Once.
Hopefully given the cast they have, they'll figure out other shit real quick or it will be a rather short season.
Homecoming: [sp] Absolutely loved the movie. Seriously a really fun movie with a wide range of emotions throughout. I loved the way they handled Keaton's character and he's probably the coolest villain in the marvel world yet and i love how he wasn't as one dimensional as a lot of the other villains have been (killian, kaecillis, peter russo from house of cards, etc) I loved the way the movie knew the tone it wanted to take and owned it. And honestly his plight was pretty reasonable and he wasn't actually someone who wanted things to go bad and just started slipping when it did. And even when it did he was someone who was an honorable man not 100% ready to dump the same problems he had on others. I loved his suit and wings too and every action scene with it seemed legitimately threatening and dangerous.
I was also really happy that Iron Man wasn't the focus of the movie even a little. He was a very reasonable mentor and a good place for Tony to be right now.
My favorite thing about the movie though is how this feels FIRMLY like it lives in the MCU world but doesn't try to define it itself. It's not some groundbreaking change everything film and its entirely a result of other films vs trying to push the whole story along. I love the Netflix shows and AoS, but this film almost feels like what they would be accomplishing if you could snap your fingers and make all the licensing problems and budget problems go away as far as having your new stuff immersed in a world we already love. [/sp]
More importantly, a grumpy cat mouth.
Momma didn't raise no fools.
at that angle the helmet's face looks like a Turian.
* Sided with Steve Rogers
Garrus will remember this
Hoping Michael B. Jordan pulls a Chris Evans in this film. I'd hate to see his career forever ruined by playing a shitty Human Torch

Forever ruined? Dude has Fruitvale Station and Creed under his belt, he's gonna be fine.
As someone who hates Spiderman, Homecoming was really awesome. Everything finally fit with the 15yo hero, and Vulture is now my favorite villain in the whole franchise.
Vulture pays off.
The only more interesting villain in the films is Winter Soldier. But he spends most of his time being good so Vulture is best MCU villain. Unless we count Kingpin and Kilgrave. Just shows how important it is to develop a villain as much as a hero.
I still think Peter's teacher being played by the guy who plays Gilfoyle was weird.
He's the nerdiest kid on Freaks and Geeks
Am I the only one that felt that Homecoming didnt actually take itself seriously for the most part?
Specially when it comes to the ending.
[sp]There was like only one or two serious scenes like that one where hes buried in the rubble to reference that one Spider-man scene in the comics but thats it[/sp]
The movie itself was great thought. Ever since Civil War I think they did a good representation of a early days spider-man thats overly enthusiastic about meeting hes idols and being a super-hero overall.
Im just disappointed with Shocker thought. [sp]I was expecting the actual villain to be in not just some guy with a single shock gauntlet[/sp]

I agree and think one of the MCU's biggest weaknesses is it's villains. Loki is great though he's kinda gone "good"?
Also I kinda like Red Skull. He's someone who actually had a huge fucking impact on the MCU and put tons of shit into play. Plus he was cool, ruthless German officer with a fascination of dark magic and the "gods". Also he didn't die and could yet return.

If only.
I feel like spiderman is a character that could hold a live action tv series. His stories are pretty well suited for them

i get that agents of shield is kinda halfway failing because nobody watches it but i'll fight you if you don't think Grant Ward is the absolute best
I might be late on this, but
Spiderman spoilers:
[sp]Shocker's gauntlet looks like Crossbone's[/sp]
