[Sp]The fact Danny even did the whole DD pose and was clearly trying to honour Matts memory at the end, they had the PERFECT oppurtunity to put him in the mask so A) nobody realized Matt had "died B) to reference Marts first costume to pay tribute[/sp]
Which reminds me, in the comics, [sp]Iron Fist even masqueraded as Daredevil for a significant amount of time during Civil War, not to mention one off times for Spider-Man and DD in the past[/sp]
Its real weird.

Spiderman and DD shenanigans are always the best.

The only minor complaint i can think of is that the vest is clearly shaped in such a way that you can see what parts of it are supposed to be completely white, but the actual skull pattern is a painted look that'd fit better on a regular flak jacket or t-shirt, and in lighting like this it can look a little messy.
That being said, under normal lighting conditions it looks fucking phenomenal.

And speaking of Inhumans, who knew that they teamed up with the Guardians of the Galaxy?

Edit: It seems that all the photos I've hosted on Dropbox are now no longer showing up here. What gives?
Up to EP6 of The Defenders and the show is a constant let down. It's so badly edited. Also Luke Cage and Danny's actors are pretty bad. I'm glad there's Jessica Jones and Matt because they are carrying the entire show. I was expecting more from Sigourney Weaver's character, she's a great actress but her character is just underwhelming.
My problem with the Defenders is how with all the characters together, they lose their individuality. In Jessica Jones, the show was differentiated by the all the dark situations and feelings of powerlessness she faced, Luke Cage had his whole "defender of Harlem" thing. You obviously can't merge a bunch of whole different themes into one season of one show, but aside from the introductions with Luke getting involved due to a kid in his neighborhood getting shot and Jessica working a case, and Daredevil and his pals occasionally handwaving away all the legal issues they might face, you never get this sense of all the characters contributing their own methods and ways of doing things.
All the problems in the show are just a bunch of ninjas from Daredevil Season 2/Iron Fist run in and get punched by the Defenders for a while. Sometimes you see Luke Cage tanking a bunch of bullets from guns that immediately get forgotten and sometimes Jessica just throws a guy or a thing really hard cause she's got no training, but mostly there's just endless ninjas and the main characters doing fight scene choreography at each other. It'd just be so much more involving to see problems getting solved in a way that isn't people running into an underground parking garage or an expensive office building and doing kung fu.
Oh hey, and one final nitpick. Madame Gao. She's got that force push thing she uses to send people flying or push things onto people, and that's neat, I was fine with that. But then you see her running in to battle and just trying to punch the Defenders, and every time she attacks or Jessica punches her back, the camera just hides away from the action really quick, like the actor couldn't handle the stunts or they knew it would look really dumb to actually show this elderly Chinese lady flailing at people and then getting socked in the face by the Defenders of New York, but decided to do it anyway. Like, either have her hang back from the action doing her force push thing to send debris flying or whatever every now and then, which would be fitting for her appearance and personality, or just go nuts and have these portrait shots of Madame Gao flying through the air doing karate kicks and yelling. It couldn't be worse than just half-assing it.
I saw one comment that summed it up pretty well.
Something along the lines of "the defenders come together to combine their powers of punching, punching hard, punching really hard, and punching with a glow stick".

Like if you gave the show an actual budget you could actually do some shit with those characters.
Like Daredevil has his billy clubs, why didnt he use them more and swing that around more. Hell you could even make him the ranged guy if you played with his radar sense a bit more, while fighting, he could be doing ranged as an assist, throwing guns or his billy club like in his own show or just ricocheting objects all day.
Jessica Jones can jump good/budget fly.
Luke can throw cars.
Iron Fist should be doing [sp]Season 1 whole skyscraper floor exploding[/sp] level stuff more often, like why isnt he using the fist to fight an entire group of a dozen dudes at one time.
You can see the tight budget in the fight scenes, and it makes me wonder why they chose these characters if they couldnt afford to actually do their powers right.
There's also a lot of inconsistency with all the powers' strength. Like, constantly.

You mean like how Danny cant budge Luke at all going max kung fu on him but suddenly some randos can kick his ass no problem?
Or like Jessica Jones doing anything?

To be fair, Danny has always seemed pretty inept compared to his enemies. [sp]That is until he manages to go toe-to-toe with Elektra somehow, but ill pass that one because she was probably baiting him to pop the Iron Fist.[/sp]

Specifically Luke stumbling back when punched most of the time except when they need to show him being sturdy, and Jessica Jones constantly punching people with them reacting as if they got poked but then she [sp]holds an elevator carrying Luke Cage and Danny and some goon barely being strained.[/sp] Her powers are by far the least consistent in the show.

That bit where [sp]he punches at her and hits the door was like the ultimate "my God this guy is dumb" moment.[/sp]

Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout is getting a Halloween overlay called Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark:
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/TwyU9x.jpg[/t]
Halloween Time at Disneyland is expanding to include Disney California Adventure this year with “Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark”.
Your adventure picks up moments after the events of the popular Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction. The Guardians have successfully escaped The Collector’s Fortress, but they have accidentally left Groot behind! Rocket enlists you to distract the creatures that have been released so he can find and rescue his little buddy. While The Collector’s ever-resourceful assistant, Apheta, may try to assure you that it is all just a momentary setback, we advise you to proceed with caution!
Once the sun sets each evening during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will transform into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. Music continues to be at the heart of the experience, and an all-new song, “Monsters After Dark,” was created especially for this attraction by Tyler Bates, composer of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films.
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort kicks off on September 15th.
I had no idea that the stunt motorcyclist was actually a racer, just learning stunts and had never been on a film set before.
I'm at Asiapop Comicon and they just showed us some scenes from Punisher, Ragnarok, and Ant-Man and the Wasp
Everything's looking great so far :excited:

Obviously use spoiler tags, but what'd they show you? Specifically from Ant-Man? I'm gonna be honest, I didn't even know they had enough done on it to show anybody anything.
Punisher:
[sp]- Some kind of PTSD flashbacks involving Frank and his daughter
- Chase scene between Frank's van and some bikers
- A bunch of kills including one where he chokes someone in a cubicle while people outside tell them to get a room
- CB Cebulski also said that another Marvel hero might make an appearance in the show[/sp]
Thor
[sp]- Thor being introduced to Sakaar and the Grandmaster
- A funny interaction between Korg and Thor
- slightly longer versions of the scenes shown in the trailer
[/sp]
Ant-Man and the Wasp
[sp] - It started as a recap of the entire MCU for the audience by Paul Rudd and Michael Pena, but it turns out that they were actually talking to Michelle Pfeiffer (who's going to play Janet)
- lots of WIP action scenes and images (incl concept art of Hank Pym wearing some kind of suit)
- Footage of Wasp in her full costume
- Giant-Man peeking behind a building
[/sp]
This is most of what I remember since it was hours ago :v:
Apparently Cebulski was also calling out my name earlier (I was cosplaying Matt Murdock) but I didnt get to talk to him because he was already on an escalator when someone told me lol
That sounds promising. Some leaks on Reddit (that had proved accurate for the Defenders) said that Punisher was looking to be a Homeland/Espionage style show. If Frank doesn't monologue the War Journal I'm out.
What's the villain for the next Antman movie?
Does it matter? :v:

I just wanna know when we're getting Eric O'Grady.

I mean even the Tom Jane movie managed to fit in some monologue/war journaling near the end, even if it was just a word-for-word reading of the manifesto from Year One.
You need that Frank narration.
with this guy's voice I will be pretty dissapointed if he didnt do narration
