Episode 1 intro: [sp]This is Saul/Jimmy's new life right? The one after he changed his identity.[/sp] Anyway, after watching episode 2 I'm really excited for more.
this show is so good jesus i love the camera shots so much, it's like a movie.
premiere is online http://www.amctv.com/full-episodes/better-call-saul/?utm_campaign=amc_newsletters%3A14017%3Aamcnewsletter&utm_medium=email%3Asection%3Dadditional_article_1_main_permalink&utm_source=2015-02-11%3A906232368%3Awatch_the_premieres_of_the_walking_dead_and_better_call_saul_online_now
I think its time to re-watch Breaking Bad.
The only thing that makes me sad about the intro music is that we can't have another amazing scene like in Granite State where the theme music comes in and gives you chills, because it doesn't have that same vibe as the Breaking Bad theme
I never got around to watch Breaking Bad again after it was over. It was so good and i remember it so well I still feel like it ended yesterday.
I don't know if this was already said but [sp]in the intro of the first episode where Saul watches the old tapes of his law business, in the reflection of his glasses it was playing in color and I think that was really cool[/sp]
Episode one is free to stream on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09axggJL1Go [editline]11th February 2015[/editline] like, officially free by Sony and not some bootleg copy
this show is so good jesus i love the camera shots so much, it's like a movie.
I loved that shot in the first one where he's kicking the trash can and the camera slowly pans out to show the outside and the lady smoking, and then he comes out all calm-like. It's so well done and akin to but totally different from BB's cinematography. Also, someone else mentioned it earlier but it's a little off-putting to see this shot totally digitally. Some scenes in BB were really grainy and stuff and I think that added to the emotions of the scenes, which went well with its more handheld cinematography. Although it does seem very fitting with the steady camerawork to record it in super-sharp digital HD.
I recommended BrBa to a guy at work yesterday, he called in sick today to watch it.

Is that vaas i'm seeing
Damn, the quality didn't drop a single notch from Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul. The show is amazing.
I went and watched the part of Network that was referenced in ep1 [t]http://i.imgur.com/QWeFASE.png[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/gvwYu0e.png[/t] they pretty much nailed it
Really need to watch that, I see it referenced all the time nowadays.
I want to scan through all of BrBa to see if there's any 'retconned' references to Better Call Saul characters, but I kinda wanna wait until the series is done to do that
vince wouldn't do that i mean walt's pants made it into the final episode.
Only seen the first episode of BCS and I have to say, after my anticipation and worry that this prequel would turn out to be dog shit I was really surprised at how finely executed the first episode was It felt like BrBa, just in the sense of how it was all made and edited. Saul has a great backstory that they can use to their advantage, debatable opinion here but I reckon he was a pretty major character [sp]the first scene in the first episode of him working at cinnabon and then looking through his old saul tapes gives me a vibe that when they reach his "new life", he might pop himself out of depression and the fact his entire life is ruined[/sp]

ok just watched the second episode [sp]I honestly think he'll fall victim of the higher ups and go with them, as in the big lawyer firm. He's right now a dead beat lawyer in a shitty office, with shitty pay and a shitty person to live with. Also, I reckon he might suffer a little PTSD from the leg breaking incident, it was fairly obvious it fucked him up bad[/sp] [sp]Also the true start to his "criminal lawyer" gig[/sp]
I can't see there being a present day Saul until the last season, whenever that is.
by the time brba rolled around saul goodman was already an established name in the town, so he'll definitely be getting to the strip mall soon. also consider the fact that [sp]his dad asked him to change his name as a matter of professional courtesy[/sp] in the first episode is evidence enough that we'll get it sooner than later. most likely we would just get his connections later on, like [sp]mike could be in legal trouble somewhere in the second season and saul bails him out in court on some sort of deal-breaker that mike does security work for him, also setting up a connection to gus.[/sp] something like that. and of course, http://www.bettercallsaul.com/
I can't see there being a present day Saul until the last season, whenever that is.
there's a lot to get through but I imagine the last season will be [sp]him in the present day AKA new identity, walts dead, jesse lives[/sp]
Oh whoops I misread strip mall, thought you ment the Cinnabon. That makes more sense now and I think you're right.
Can't wait to see Jessie again
I don't think he's coming back for the show. I think he mentioned that he dropped out a while ago.
:(
[sp]Also, I reckon he might suffer a little PTSD from the leg breaking incident, it was fairly obvious it fucked him up bad[/sp]
Yes he did. In Breaking Bad at one point [sp]Mike was threatening him to break his legs and Saul lost his shit immediately.[/sp]
Yes he did. In Breaking Bad at one point [sp]Mike was threating him to break his legs and Saul lost his shit immediately.[/sp]
I'm a sucker for that type of shit. That's awesome.
