Season 2 is when Breaking Bad got really good, before that it didn't have any scenes that would really blow you away. Give Better Call Saul some time to get some scenes that can blow us away, also I already think the show is of really high quality with just three episodes. Great acting and writing, I'm loving it.
I think there were quite a few fantastic scenes in the first season of BrBa, the first I truly loved was [sp]Walt killing Krazy-8[/sp] but even before then it had me hooked. BCS hasn't reached that level for me yet, though the scene [sp]where the twins tried to intercept the Kettlemobile was great. Maybe that's because it felt like a heist movie and I'm a sucker for them.[/sp] I'm enjoying the show, but overall I think BrBa had a much better start.

It was making a little bit of sense up until the Tuco's garage bit
It was making a little bit of sense up until the Tuco's garage bit
Yeah, the guy clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. The moment he said that Philadelphia was fictional, I IMMEDIATELY knew he was full of bullshit. Philadelphia is actually real. I learned about it in social studies a couple months back.
tbh, Breaking Bad had such a slow burn at the start, it took like a good 3 episodes for me to get really into it.
breaking bad had me hooked pretty quick i mean, you can sell it to somebody pretty quickly - "highschool teacher cooks meth to support family" is already one hell of a concept

you know i've been thinking i know that [sp]hank[/sp] doesn't really seem to be interested in returning to the show, but that would be a good opportunity for [sp]gomez[/sp] to get some good character development in.

honestly breaking bad had lots of moments for me where it really just felt like a drag and i had to force myself to keep watching. obviously it was worth sticking through with but i don't think i could rewatch the series. in comparing the first 3 episodes i'm enjoying BCS a lot more, mainly just because Jimmy is such an enjoyable character to watch.

What was with the [sp]plane crash finale[/sp]? < BB season 3 spoiler. I'm still a little bit pissed over that. So many plotholes.

Everyone was being a jerk to everyone else and the sense of humor and danger was slipping.

When does episode 4 come out?
When does episode 4 come out?
(fyi bcs airs on monday nights in america) [editline]22nd February 2015[/editline] https://tvcountdown.com/s/better-call-saul if you please
i rewatched breaking bad with my friend, his first time watching, he loved it and paid attention to all of it but [sp]fell asleep on the last ep[/sp]
How is that even possible!?
he woke up when walt [sp]started shooting the car turret and he was so confused[/sp] [editline]22nd February 2015[/editline] someone else who recently started the show walked in just as [sp]hank died[/sp] i feel so guilty
someone else who recently started the show walked in just as [sp]hank died[/sp] i feel so guilty
That was one of the few spoilers I accidentally heard before watching and it didn't ruin my experience.
Might just be me but as I rewatch BB I feel sad about [sp]how wasted the counselor as a character is in Breaking Bad. He started really strong in my opinion, draws out a really powerful moment from Jesse then just kind of melts into the background and gets completely hosed and forgotten. He doesn't even really get to respond to Jesse's deception if I'm remembering right.[/sp].

At first I didn't recognize him and wondered why the camera focused on this random dude, and for a few seconds I thought that was supposed to be the counselor. Needless to say, I was very confused.

I don't know whether it's the saturation boost that person put in the video but I've just realised how much more colourful BCS is opposed to BrBa Like BrBa had colour it just was gloomy, BCS is all full of colours probably because Saul rarely goes in the desert and is an urban person Don't you also agree?

Next episode is called Hero, so I'm gonna go and assume [sp]Saul does actually make a deal with the family, and makes up some story where he's saved them from something.[/sp] Next ep is in 4 hours, right?
