-has never seen breaking bad and is understanding things pretty well-
i didn't say you wouldn't understand it. but everything would mean a whole lot less. why dont you go watch it
if you've never seen breaking bad you'll propably be like "why are they showing this old mackerel-eyed dude"

It's fucking nitpicking, both of these girls could easily pass for either 4 years old or 10 years old.
I like how they directed the [sp]execution scene in the same way as Hank / Jack[/sp]
Oh man, I'm never gonna not notice this now.
Vince Gilligan is a genius, but that is a huuuuuge oversight. Especially if he wants to expand more on Mike.
How could they get a girl who's gotta be 13 now to play a four year old?
I wonder how did people who didn't watch BrBa react t the latest episode. For people who know Mike, this episode was expected, but for others he's just a wacky sidecharacter sitting in a parking booth
My brother had pretty much the same reaction I did to Five-O and he didn't know much about BrBa, he saw a little of the last season and that's it. He didn't even know [sp]Mike dies.[/sp]

They should have made the woman just pregnant.

time
One thing that is bugging me is Mike looks and moves older. Maybe it is because I haven't seen him between the 2 shows but there's this fear at the back of my brain that Banks will get too old for the show breaking the illusion.
am i the only one who saw Gale in the last episode?

Wait Gale was literally in the show? I definitely missed that, when was it?

Some major plot connections are missing in BCS if you hadnt seen BR BA

I think the same about Jimmy, and the longer the show goes on the more obvious it'll be. I'm not even sure how old he's supposed to be in some flashbacks because there's no hiding that Bob Odenkirk is a 52 year old in a wig.

That scene confused me for a few seconds. I wasn't sure if he was just arrested or if it was a flashback until he was blatantly referencing that he wasn't a lawyer yet.
the main thing i saw was that tuco looked pretty old

bad reason to not watch one of the best shows and origin to the spinoff that you apparently have enough time to watch
take him out rusty
I hate Walt even more now after having seen this ep of BCS.
I'm still wondering where the real tipping point is.
[sp] In Breaking Bad Mike is a Hardened Killer, he's got contacts across the states, people that are loyal to him in the Underworld and all sorts. Saul works with him occassionaly and this is only ... what, a five/six year gap between BCS and BrBa? When does Mike go from a Vengeful, Bitter Ex-Cop to the killer we all loved?[/sp]

you'd be surprised at how much easier it is for someone with a busy schedule to watch one episode per week instead of 50+ episodes
Even if you watched one episode per week of Breaking Bad it's still worth it. It just gets the binging reputation because it's SOOOO GOOOOOD.
i prefer to wait until an extended holiday and binge instead of taking a year to watch a show

[sp]With that last episode I think it shows that Mike has always been vengeful.. or at least after the cops set up his son[/sp]
Really liked this episode but the time changes kinda confused me a bit. I'm also kinda confused by the opening scene because it has the Rail Runner in it, and the Rail Runner didn't start service till 2006. BCS is set in 2002. Was this scene set some time in the future and i'm just retarded??

This show has a chronic condition of having small details in it that don't fit the era. [sp]Tuco's[/sp] gun (the Raging Judge M513) wasn't invented until 2010!
[editline]13th March 2015[/editline]
Of course it's no big deal. I'm not bothered by it in the slightest. It's just fun to be able to see those kinds of mistakes. :v:
The only one that has bugged me so far was the Hummer H2 in "Alpine Shepard Boy." That wasn't released until 2003.

I don't consider them mistakes. I don't even consider them oversights. The way I see it, these are details so irrelevant to the story that there's no real point in trying to correct it. Sure, these things came out a few years after this is supposed to take place, but that's what period pieces are like. Half the guns and technology in Django: Unchained was actually from like five years after the time period, but it doesn't make a difference because its period accuracy is irrelevant to the plot and as long as it looks like it fits in the time period, it's fine. Like, if someone pulled out an iPhone in the middle of a BCS scene that would be jarring, but not with things like train or gun models.
finally got around to seeing this ep.
damn Mike :(((

he was easily my favorite character from BrBa so seeing him fleshed out like this is really great

hey william shatner managed to age backwards in real life, plus good makeup can take 5 years off of someone easily, also doesn't BCS take place only a few years before BrB anyways, wikipedia says its 2002, so only 5 years before BrB which is like 2007
Saul, you brilliant man.
Another fantastic episode
