The shittiest thing about it is [sp] even though he didn't go through the same struggles as Chuck (he had his struggles, just not the same ones), Jimmy's still a damn talented and dedicated lawyer.[/sp]
[sp]Perhaps with his brother's betrayal, we'll start to see the transition from jimmy to saul? [/sp]
I know Saul was kind of the focus of the episode and the ending was hard hitting as hell but can we all take a second and appreciate how fucking badass Mike is still??
[sp]Perhaps with his brother's betrayal, we'll start to see the transition from jimmy to saul? [/sp]
[sp] also grounds for chuck not being part of saul's life[/sp] [editline]31st March 2015[/editline]
I know Saul was kind of the focus of the episode and the ending was hard hitting as hell but can we all take a second and appreciate how fucking badass Mike is still??
I love how quickly he assumed his badass rough criminal persona. He knows so much about the other side of the law that he has no trouble fitting in, and [sp]his explanation of how 'criminal' is a legal term, not a moral one, is so incredibly meaningful to his character. I think it explains a lot of his reasoning behind becoming a criminal. He's going to do a lot of terrible things, but it's all for the sake of his granddaughter. And unlike Walt, he never really loses sight of that.[/sp]
[sp]dear chuck[/sp] [sp]i hope you get tasered again[/sp] [sp]in the nuts[/sp]
[sp]Devil's advocate but I agree with Chuck. I didn't realize it until he brought it up, but if Jimmy was a partner at HHM he'd piss off somebody or do something illegal and bring trouble for the firm eventually.[/sp] [sp]Also I am so pissed Steven Ogg only showed up for literally one scene. I was rooting so hard for the protection to go bad, so he dual-wields and screams 'GO FUCK YOURSELF'. :([/sp]
Wow that was fantastic. First[sp]Trevor and a guy who looks like Lester appears[/sp], and then[sp]Jimmy's trust in Chuck completely vanishes after seeing him snap[/sp]. Makes you wonder how the finale will play out.
[sp] Jimmy proved Chuck right at the initial meeting with HHM, he was ready to throw every victim in the lawsuit under the bus because he couldn't get a job. If he was so ready to do that, whats to stop him from always doing whats only personally beneficial in the future [/sp]
[sp]Also I am so pissed Steven Ogg only showed up for literally one scene. I was rooting so hard for the protection to go bad, so he dual-wields and screams 'GO FUCK YOURSELF'. :([/sp]
I like that it's less violent and focuses more on law/smart thinking to get out of situations, at least while it's still Jimmy running the show, not Saul
I loved the speech Mike gave in the car. [sp]Chuck, fuck you.[/sp]
[sp]All this time I thought Hamlin hated jimmy for some reason, but he was just doing what his partner wanted him to do. I really didn't see this coming though. [/sp] Chuck doesn't see though, [sp]Jimmy wants to be his brother's shadow so bad, even though he didn't get a fancy degree he is actually a damn good lawyer and Chuck just seems jealous that Jimmy is good and didn't have to do everything Chuck did. Chuck literally cock blocked Jimmy cause he was salty.[/sp]
oh my god chuck

But try as I might, [sp] I can't feel any sympathy for Chuck, because he could have easily have told Jimmy all of this earlier instead of letting Hamlin take the blame. Chuck threw Hamlin under the bus because he was too cowardly to tell his brother what he thought, especially for something so important. He fucked over his brother, without even giving him the chance to try to be a lawyer (something that Jimmy probably only wanted to do to be like Chuck). [/sp]
[sp]Why do we post in spoilers? It's not like anyone who doesn't want to spoil the show reads threads about the show.[/sp]
Wait a second... Is that...?
Fuck [sp]Chuck[/sp] seriously.
That was a real tearjerker at the end. At least we now know that Hamlin isn't[sp]a robot anymore.[/sp] [sp]Still shitty for Chuck to let Hamlin do all his dirty work just because he felt like Jimmy wasn't as real of a lawyer.[/sp]
Bob Odenkirk is a great actor, when he[sp] got angry at Chuck it felt so powerful. [/sp]
Oh man, this was probably the best episode of Better Call Saul And Occasionally Mike. There were few episodes in the season so far that I would compare to the atmosphere/effect of BrBa but this one was on the same level for sure. Also [sp]Fuck. You. Chuck. I understand some of the things he's worried are real concerns but a lot of it was pride and not giving a chance. To your brother.[/sp]
[sp]Chuck is an elitist, cowardly piece of shit. Nothing else to it. Nothing is justifiable about what he did. Pressuring his brother to go legit and then stopping him when he tried to have some ambition and make something of himself, and at the same time, using his power to make Hamlin look like a piece of shit because he doesn't want to talk to his brother? And all because of some bullshit ideas about legitimacy in a world where you have to drive yourself into crippling debt to go to law school when even that's a gamble? He passed the fucking bar. Put your fucking elitism aside and appreciate the effort that went into that, especially when he did it FOR YOU so YOU wouldn't be so ashamed of him. People can change. They certainly aren't fucking going to when you refuse to give them a chance. Just a pathetic piece of shit and he deserves the loneliness he's about to endure. What decent human being cares more about bureaucratic bullshit than their own brother, when he's trying, really trying, to conform to what society requires someone of his talents to be? He's not a bad lawyer, it's just impossible to get anywhere from his position, especially when the sink for half of your time and money and YOUR OWN brother is the very same thing stopping you from getting anywhere! We can all look at Saul in Breaking Bad and say, well, he was right, but that's bullshit. That's what happens when he isn't given a chance by anyone so he has to make one for himself. Chuck completely had the power to set him on the road to being an honest lawyer, and he refused to use it.[/sp] [editline]31st March 2015[/editline] [sp]I hope the first thing Jimmy does is calls Hamlin to apologise.[/sp]
[sp]Chuck is an asshole. I figured out what was going on about half way through the meeting about the case and I actually feel sorry for Hamlin for being put in that position.[/sp] Also that puppy was cute. :v:
Holy shit that was definitely the best episode so far, now let's see if the finale is going to top this. [sp]I really, REALLY hope that wasn't the last we saw of Trevor. Also, Chuck the Fuck should have a car battery shoved up his ass i mean goddamn[/sp]
I was happy to see Nacho again in this episode. Feels like ages since we last saw him.
Last night's episode was setting up the finale perfectly, I can feel it. I'm not sure what the hell Jimmy is gonna do, but something crazy is gonna happen for sure, I want Vince to drive me crazy waiting for season 2

wait, is next week the finale? nooooo
wait, is next week the finale? nooooo
Yesterday was TWD finale, next week BCS finale... What am I going to watch this summer? :c
I wonder what happens next. [sp]I feel it would be too quick and predictable to turn Jimmy into Saul for the finale. Like him for example helping the old folk firm cover their tracks, proving Chuck is mentally ill and destroying HMM. I'd love to see him approach Hamilton and clear the air even just a bit.[/sp]
That quote felt really powerful: [sp]"I've known good criminals and bad cops, bad priests, honorable thieves. You can be on one side of the law or the other, but if you make a deal with somebody, you keep your word. You can go home today with your money and never do this again, but you took soemthing that wasn't yours and you sold it for a profit. You are now a criminal. Good one, bad one, that's up to you." - Mike[/sp] But in context of the ending and: [sp]"The law is sacred!" - Chuck[/sp] It's just goddamn brilliant.
[sp]Howard seemed to be way too much of a nice guy to be a douche anyway shoulda seen through chucklefuck's fuckery[/sp]
Yesterday was TWD finale, next week BCS finale... What am I going to watch this summer? :c
Hannibal starts back up this June.
