[sp] I don't think he'll survive the series, Tuco will murder the shit out of him when he finds out he's going behind his back [/sp]
[Breaking Bad spoilers] [sp]The way Saul talks of him in Breaking Bad though it seems he's probably still alive and only recently had some involvement with Saul[/sp]
[sp]You Suck Chuck?[/sp]
[sp]I would never do such a thing.[/sp]
Not gonna happen. Not when [sp]Chuck is aware of psychological nature of his disease, not when he's able to work somehow again, not when he's still employee and friends with Hamlin who's the biggest lawyer in the state. [/sp]
[sp]Even if he is aware of it and it's psychological, I still think he'll find it hard without Saul. Saul was the one who always looked after him, even made that jacket. That's why he always went through Howard, because he needs Saul to look after him and his pride probably prevents him from letting anybody else help him. I don't think Chuck will magically just be cured and go to work again[/sp]

[sp]Without the help he is gonna end up going backwards. I'm pretty sure his condition is caused by how he feels about saul.[/sp]
[sp]Doesn't Nacho get killed on screen in BB? I know No Doze does but doesn't the same happen to Nacho?[/sp]

[sp]Nacho isn't in Breaking Bad.[/sp]
Did the show ever explain how [sp]Mike knows who Nacho is and his relation to Tuco? He said he did his research before the job but I doubt you could throw "nacho varga tuco salamanca drug pusher" into 2002-era Google[/sp]

I put it down to Mike being Mike.

its mike, hes a pro
i'd consider it like playing runescape way back in the old day and stuff, he's got contacts and experience and doesn't need newfangled guides and stuff
The end of that last episode had some amazing suspense. [sp]I was on the edge of my seat wondering if Jimmy had checked his phone or not.[/sp]
Also[sp] in regards to who is the better lawyer, Chuck couldn't have that speech in the desert[/sp]
[sp]He'd just cite past legal cases where people were arrested for shooting dudes in the desert[/sp]

Seems like it could be written off as remembering what happened in Episode 2, since it was essentially the same thing, so maybe [sp]Nacho and Tuco had some kind of potentially long-term feud that bled into BB's timeline, and maybe, since they kidnap him after Tuco's dead, Saul might think Tuco's gang thinks Saul is responsible, so he says it was Nacho?[/sp]

[sp]I figure Nacho knows people who know the dog guy. Fascinating how they managed to stage the deal so that Nacho was protected on both sides.[/sp]

BCS: [sp]Chuck'll either have to adapt to the outside world, or he'll let his disease get worse without the encouragement of Jimmy. I'm hoping he fucks off either way :v:[/sp]
The thing with Breaking Bad was that it was intense from the start. Walter broke bad and started cooking meth in the first episode, after hearing he was going to die from inoperable lungcancer.
With Better Call Saul, you're basically just watching Jimmy "have a bad day" for several episodes. After the Tuco episode, me and my friends thought that was going to be the moment he was going to break bad. but no, it just went back to "havin' a bad day" mode again.
It's much slower and it feels like far less is happening than in Breaking Bad. It's not a bad series, but so far it's just not as good as Breaking Bad. IMO anyway.
[sp]I think he's about to break bad next episode, he already snapped at the end of this one.[/sp]

[sp]I think that later on in the show, maybe even season two, he's going to end up dead somehow, quite possibly by suicide.
I can just picture Jimmy coming back later on, maybe to pick up something or make amends, and he just finds Chuck swinging from the ceiling. It'll show his blanket on the floor and Jimmy will walk into the doorway centered in the background and just look absolutely shocked at whatever he sees. Then the camera will pan up and show a pair of feet hanging about 3 feet off the ground and Jimmy will loose his shit and break down in the door way.
Then the credits roll. Created by Vince Gilligan.[/sp]
I really feel like that's a strong possibility.

I really hope Trevor Phillips becomes a recurring character.
I really hope Trevor Phillips becomes a recurring character.
he was obviously in this just for that scene.
he was obviously in this just for that scene.
and mike himself was only supposed to be for one scene back in BB too
I'm sure the writers would bring him back if they found a legit reason to, not just to pander to GTA fans

I'm sure the writers would bring him back if they found a legit reason to, not just to pander to GTA fans
but this is legit the only reason why he would come back
Mike was imposing and great in his first scene, it's why they made him a recurring character, probably.
Trevor was a minor character intended for comic relief.
I don't know who I like more in this show, Jimmy or Mike.
[sp] thevye both gotten so much depht that its kinda sad now to remember what eventually happens to them in brba [/sp]
Just watched the new episode, the ending was just so intense. So good.
Is next week the finale?
Part of me wishes the season was longer. :(
That being said, wasn't the first season of Breaking Bad the same length?
Part of me wishes the season was longer. :(

Breaking Bad season 1 was 7 episodes
Breaking Bad season 1 was 7 episodes
Shortened out of 10, because of writer's strike. I believe if G&G will decide that they need more episodes per season, they could easily have a more conservative run of 13 episodes, or maybe even 16, per season.
