Man [sp]Ignacio's dad[/sp] is my fav character so far.
The best part of Better Call Saul that was missing from Breaking Bad is finally we have a female character that audience can sympathize with and even like. Kim is a keeper. [sp]I don't want them to break up :([/sp]
I thought Jane was a fairly likeable character
I thought Jane was a fairly likeable character
lol, plane jane
I thought Jane was a fairly likeable character
nah, it was pretty evident that she was gonna fuck everything up kind of a shame bb had literally 0 likable female characters. they were all so bland and boring and frankly all looked the same. skyler, marie and lydia like 100% of the time high heels and dress boo lame
am i the only person who thought skyler was fine? she was a bit "bitchy" or whatever but i would be too if i found out my husband was dealing meth behind my back..
am i the only person who thought skyler was fine? she was a bit "bitchy" or whatever but i would be too if i found out my husband was dealing meth behind my back..
It's not so much I don't like Skyler, I don't like her dynamic with Walt. Their interactions are always so boring, to me. I never found myself caring about Walt's marriage, especially when it went to petty tactics to one up the other. Her character is little more than "Walter's wife." Her kleptomaniac shpeal was so unnecessary, and I felt it added nothing to the plot. Lydia was... Eh. Half the time, it seems like she doesn't even act like she's in a meth underworld empire. She feels so out of place at times.

That said, I really, really like Kim's character. She's dynamic.
i rooted for walter until the end i never got that "hatred" i read most people got
i rooted for walter until the end i never got that "hatred" i read most people got
only time I got close to that was when he [sp]shot Mike[/sp]
Im still pissed about that
There was a certain point where I cared more about Jesse than Walt, but there were definitely times where you could see how awful Walt felt about all the shit he did, and you can't help but feel sorry for him. He didn't know what he was getting into and it all turned out so terrible.
I'm currently re-watching the series (mid-season 3 at the moment) and it just seems harder to feel sympathy for Walt since cancer is definitely one of his lesser problems.
the fact that[sp]those detectives believed that stupid unreasonable made up story[/sp]did not bother anyone? I mean come on that doesn't make sense
the fact that[sp]those detectives believed that stupid unreasonable made up story[/sp]did not bother anyone? I mean come on that doesn't make sense
Thats what makes it great imo.[sp]Jimmy was able to sell them complete bullshit.[/sp]
the fact that[sp]those detectives believed that stupid unreasonable made up story[/sp]did not bother anyone? I mean come on that doesn't make sense
Well, at this time [sp]Jimmy is still a regular lawyer, not known to only defend criminals and using loopholes and such. It's still a bit silly the cops bought it but this reasoning I come up with helps me swallow it.[/sp]
the fact that[sp]those detectives believed that stupid unreasonable made up story[/sp]did not bother anyone? I mean come on that doesn't make sense
It's actually a common manipulation technique, to make up a lie so bizarre and very self-deprecating to cover bland truth that the person lied to has no reason to think otherwise, so this is not that far-fetched. Besides the video is an ultimate proof, because how far would someone just to cover a lie? The cops like to keep their job simple.

Jimmy's a con man,he knows how to manipulate people.
He's also hella good at bullshitting people. If I was in that room, honestly I'd believe him just because it rolls off his tongue like it's indisputable fact.
the fact that there were so many other names for the squat cobbler adds a credibility to what he was saying. I've also started watching BrBa again since season 2 of BCS started. to begin with, [sp]I do feel sorry for Walt but knowing how he turns out really makes you feel a lot less sympathetic for him[/sp]

He had so many chances to quit the drug world and clean himself up and even keep a lot of money, but he just didn't want to stop, he became too power hungry[/sp]
[sp]Yay, we're gonna see Mike in action again![/sp]
Anyone wanna start taking bets on [sp]who Nacho wants Mike to kill?[/sp]
God that phone call, this is not gonna end well.
This episode itself seemed a bit weak but it's set up so much. I'm super excited. I'll always love seeing the scenes where Jimmy woos over crowds like at the start of this episode.
[sp]WHY DIDNT JIMMY SHOW THE COMMERCIAL TO HIS BOSS[/sp] [sp]also imagine if Nacho wants Mike to kill Gus or something and Gus talks him into working for him that would be too early though[/sp]

He didn't show it because the first one was so bad. He knew his commercial wouldn't get the go ahead even though it would've being effective.
[sp]Yeah, after seeing the last ad and the main concern being the weird background the partners would probably not be up for the ad Jimmy made. Best case scenario it would take too long to approve.[/sp] Great episode though, set up interesting scenes. With Mike I was hoping for a bit more but it's too early probably for that.
Never thought I'd be so hyped over getting [sp]tons of calls from old people[/sp] It was like that scene in Apollo 13 where [sp]they were looking at the CO2 levels, hoping for them to go down.[/sp]
You know a TV show is good when [sp]the main character gets a call from his boss and it feels like YOU'RE the one in trouble.[/sp]
