You all talk about the unimportant kid character but I'm more worried about Mike's actor. He seems fine but at the same time he looks pretty old and he didn't do any "action-y" thing in BCS so far. Truth be told, Mike was a man of few moves in BB, too, but the way he stood and walked felt a little bit more menacing. In BCS he really looks like veteran henchman boss than the top henchman.

Except like [sp]luring two cops into thinking he's drunk and then executing them in desolation.[/sp]
Or [sp]breaking into a house, sneaking through its entirety in order to find bags of money and then retrieving it silently[/sp]
Or other examples.

he's in a fairly chilled out world if you compare his BCS life to his BB life. i'm sure we'll see him angry up a bit more as shit gets closer to hittin' the fan
I hope we get to see more of those film student characters.

I think it is to point out that Mike is ultimately living out a new dull life in New Mexico. Things will build up, obviously he isn't going to have action scenes like he did in BB when he is just getting into the area.

They were in the billboard episode from season 1 and Vince seemed very fond of them on the podcast, so they'll probably write them in
[sp]one of the folks on the podcast said the dickish one will be in the eighth episode of this season[/sp]

a couple of my friends took audio production with the ponytailed guy
Kinda soon to say, but what I like about Better Call Saul, is that [sp]even weak or naive characters have a chance at surviving the deadly situations they are thrown in, and even offer the audience a chance for some comedic pay offs because of it. I doubt characters like Daniel Wormald, the skaters or even Saul himself, would survive in other shows like Sopranos or Boardwalk Empire, simply because those show value the concept of realism a little too much. Better Call Saul has a looser feel, that grants the characters personalities that probably wouldn't last in real life, but offers great entertainment as spectacle. I hope for more exciting episodes in the future.[/sp]
Anyone else find it weird that Mike has three granddaughters called Kaylee?

I found it more weird that the age gap doesn't really add up there is a 6 year difference but the girl looks too young in breaking bad to be 6 years older than better call sauls actor.

The big difference is that [sp]in Better Call Saul they don't and so far haven't ran into anyone that big. Even tukko isn't that big in terms of operation considering he has someone working behind his back with no idea. As well as they make careless mistakes that would easily be avoided had they put some thought into it. Boardwalk Empire you can't really compare it to in deadly situations because of the different setting in time. The Sopranos goes back to that first thing as that was a massive mafia organization were anyone they have dealt with has no where near that amount of power. Gus is I'd say is the first person they deal with in the entire storyline who has the same power as a mafia.
The skaters would of died the only reason they lived is because Saul is such a damn good lawyer. Killing Saul wouldn't of made sense as they most likely knew of his brothers firm and killing a big time lawyer is gonna bring a lot of attention. Wormald wouldn't make much sense to kill as he already painted himself as a massive target to the police if he shows up dead. Which since he somehow got some flashy expensive stuff and works at pharma company the first thing to do is check what's missing. Then they find out it's painkillers and start going after anyone dealing in that. Which kills other guys profit and it points out to someone new is trying to start up on making money. Unless they have a lot of power its going to be better to keep the police off the radar.[/sp]
that's the point he was making i think
He was making the point of how there were three different actors that played her.
He was making the point of how there were three different actors that played her.
i figured the ageing thing is just one of the bi-products of that
i guess they're sort of different on second thought, fair enough
[sp]That all ya got?[/sp]
Mike can even make [sp] getting the shit beat out of him [/sp] look cool and badass.
[sp]rip dog[/sp]
[sp]Was Mike a sniper in Vietnam?[/sp]
[sp]Don't let shopping
Strain your brain-o,
Just sing this short refrain-o.
Our furniture is bueno,
Tampico is the name-o.[/sp]
[sp]Was Mike a sniper in Vietnam?[/sp]
Was thinking the same thing.
So I noticed in the credits that [sp]Krazy-8 was apparently in the episode? After thinking I believe he was the guy doing the exchange with Tuco at the restaurant.[/sp]
Also, [sp]As per usual, fuck Chuck.[/sp]
[sp]Was Mike a sniper in Vietnam?[/sp]
Hoping they'll go into more detail about this in the future.
Hoping they'll go into more detail about this in the future.
I definitely hope they won't. You have all the pieces of trivia to work that one out - [sp]He's old enough to get drafted, he knows how to use M40 from before 1970s, referenced jungle and he's a good marksman.[/sp]
You don't need any more references, backstories about it or namedropping. It's a cool piece of trivia as it is, adds a lot to his character.
That was the guy that sold Walter the guns, right?
Nice bunch of references this episode
[sp]In BB Skinny Pete knew Tuco from prison. I guess this is how he got there.[/sp]

Breaking Bad takes place [sp]shortly after Tuco got released from prison. I wonder who took his place and what happened with him (the answer is Nacho, come on)[/sp]

[sp]After Walt killed Krazy 8 Jesse said that Tuco took his place. We just saw him so I guess it makes sense. Either way I hope we see more Nacho. Idk why but I love Michael Mando.[/sp]
I want to punch the higher ups in that law firm soooo bad

Oh, so [sp]Krazy-8 will grow to be a kingpin, I totally forgot about that. I wonder if it will be with or without Nacho's help.[/sp]
