Oh, so [sp]Krazy-8 will grow to be a kingpin, I totally forgot about that. I wonder if it will be with or without Nacho's help.[/sp]
[sp]I think he's gonna compete with Nacho and eventually kill him.[/sp]
So I noticed in the credits that [sp]Krazy-8 was apparently in the episode? After thinking I believe he was the guy doing the exchange with Tuco at the restaurant.[/sp] Also, [sp]As per usual, fuck Chuck.[/sp]
To be honest [sp]Chuck was kind of right here, it was Jimmy's recklessness that led to this. He put the reputation of Kim and two law firms on the line, then his attempt to make things right was dealing in extortion.[/sp]

Seriously, whenever Chuck or Kim are not commenting on what Saul is up to, It ends up looking like an adult version of Ed Edd n' Eddy, where morality is a permanently grey free for all.[/sp]
i'm really feeling this season more as of that episode, things are heating up
Chuck is right but he doesn't have to be such a cunt about it.
[sp] Ah man it was so satisfying to watch how Tuco didn't realize that Mike had planned out that arrest on him. [/sp]
God I hate Chuck sometimes.[sp]And yet Jimmy still has the kindness to put his phone/keys/watch in the mailbox, and tend to his brother's every beck and call. [/sp]Overall, great episode.
I really enjoy the fact that they make us think the mistakes Jimmy makes aren't really that bad, or we don't even think they are mistakes when he does it. And then when he gets shouted at for making those mistakes, we still think it can't be really that bad, they are just dumb for shouting at him. Why would it be a bad thing if he got that much results with the ad, for a very noble cause? The reaction we get from chuck/kim/etc is basically "it's against the law", nothing much more. Which I think is really great because the story is explained to us just like Jimmy would perceive it. Just like a child that don't understand why it's so bad he drew on the wall if it's a cute drawing for mommy.
They're doing the same thing they did for Walt in BB, remember how everybody rooted for Walt no matter what?
Nah, I thought Walt was an irredeemable devil man but was interested in his story. Jimmy on the other hand, I genuinely love the character.
Nah, I thought Walt was an irredeemable devil man but was interested in his story. Jimmy on the other hand, I genuinely love the character.
I have a theory but it might be wrong. For Slipping Jimmy to be successful a con man, he needs to understand people. Sometimes to understand people, you need a strong amount of empathy and social skills. Having empathy can have the side effect of feeling other peoples feelings. Feeling other peoples feelings might drive you to act kinder to people when appropriate. I believe Saul is going to be a more kind hearted man than Walter, mostly for the fact so far in spite of his criminal behaviour, he understands human suffering too well, and feels the urge to prevent it as much as humanly possible. [sp]He still plays along with his asshole brothers illness, in spite the fact its obvious its more psychological than psychical. He wants to take the wrap for his co-worker. He extended his stay with some dangerous gangsters, to save some skaters he barely knew. In his own words, when he tells lies he says he believes himself. Is it farfetched to say that sometimes he is genuinely being kind to the old people he is marketing to?[/sp] Now I have no idea how bleak Saul's journey might become, but I feel the monster he might turn in to will still have a larger heart than Walter's, mostly because they are cut from two very different pieces of cloth.
Watch the Cinnabon fate that has be foreshadowed feel less than deserved by the end of the series.

He isn't in a midlife crisis like Walt was, not to mention the whole cancer thing [editline]12th March 2016[/editline]
Watch the Cinnabon fate that has be foreshadowed feel less than deserved by the end of the series.
I'm hoping the series will eventually continue through his time at Cinnabon, or maybe those little scenes will eventually spell out a sequence where he reclaims his identity, so to speak Maybe it'll be like Season 5 of Breaking Bad, where it starts with a flash forward and gradually catches up to the flash-forward and then a little beyond it
Finished Breaking Bad last night, holy shit that show never felt bad at all. I loved actually beginning to hate Walter towards the end.

[sp]Wow did not recognize Tio at first out of the wheelchair[/sp] in tonight's episode.
Loved that episode[sp]Think we are going to see the cousins next episode[/sp]
Looks like we're another puzzle piece closer to our characters' places in Breaking Bad. They also did that Kim montage perfectly, it broke my heart man
Every scene in this episode was masterfully done. It conveyed the emotions of all the people. Both 'good' and 'bad', 'nice' and 'asshole'. Hell, I even sympathized with Chuck.
how long is this show going to be exactly? is this season the last? do they already have everything written out for the entirety of the show, or do they wait until it's renewed for another season?
The scene where [sp]Hector enters begins with the waitress hitting a bell[/sp]

I'm sure they have some long term goals for where the story will go, but it's just a matter of storytelling to determine how we get there.
is this season the last?
You can bet AMC will keep renewing it indefinitely, it's drawing as much attention as BB did. It's gonna end on Gilligan's terms. And it definitely won't have closure until we get here. [t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/breakingbad/images/0/07/SaulOffice.png/revision/latest?cb=20130804211215[/t]
even for BCS that episode was slow :v:
So what [sp]happened to Rebecca?[/sp] My dad reckons that [sp]she somehow died suddenly, and the trauma led to Chuck developing his "allergy". He makes the point that Chuck is too mentally together to develop something like that on his own. What if it's really just a subconscious excuse not to face the world?[/sp]
[sp]"The first rule of Fight Club, right?"[/sp] :v:

Watching the new episode now because fuck sleep, one thing I can really appreciate about BB and Saul is they do story 'showing' like all the subtle symbolism and metaphors. Makes a nice difference from House of Cards which is so on the nose I occasionally mistake it for a pimple. [editline]16th March 2016[/editline] Alright, maybe Saul can be a little on the nose too but I still like how rich it is with all that good stuff I gotta bullshit about in Lit. Plus it does some pretty fantastic shit with cameras and angles and stuff.
I thought this episode was pretty weak compared to the other episodes in S2.
