I thought this episode was pretty weak compared to the other episodes in S2.
Lil slow, but not weak.
I just thought, [sp]Mike isn't going to back down and he's made an enemy of the Salamancas. He'll need help from somebody that hates them. Maybe this is leading up to the introduction of Gus?[/sp]

The writers are probably freaking out over how to make that encounter work.
[sp]maybe Gus will come to Mike with a "I hate Hector Salamanca too" kind of thing?[/sp]

[sp]My bets are on Mike asking the vet for help, and the vet putting him in contact with Gus. Mike's not a career criminal, he's happy to work a parking booth and only breaks the law when he has to. Him working for Gus sounds like a matter of necessity.[/sp]

[sp]The vet hooks him up with Gus, who's just starting his Chicken business, to be a full-time employee[/sp]
I genuinely think that [sp]Mark Margolis[/sp] deserves an Emmy award for his <2 minutes performance in last episode. You'd never guess that he's [sp]an American from Philadelphia, and he conveyed the middle stages of Parkinson really well, I know it.[/sp] And what's more, for what it's worth during his short scene he not only stole the episode but probably the entire season. God damn terrifying.
It would be a nice nod for his earlier work for sure.

I didn't mean it in a bad way but I guess a little slow would be a better way to describe what I meant

He was always one of my favorite things about Breaking Bad. He portrayed his character perfectly. It's really neat to see him pre-wheelchair (besides the flashbacks).

He said so much with a single facial expression

[sp]I wonder if Mike put Hector in that chair [/sp]

Gus has started his chicken business more than twenty years ago, it's like you forgot what happened in 'Hermano' and 'Salut".

I guess I did, maybe it's time to rewatch BB

I was considering re-watching the series; It's been yonks since my last viewing.
Hopefully 'Stargate syndrome' doesn't hit.
I'd forget entire episodes exist until I see one part of the story and know what is going to happen for the whole episode; that may also reminds me that the next episode wasn't so good so I start skipping episodes and miss crucial tid-bit plot points tacked onto mindless drama.
That said, I am really loving Better Call Saul.
Not sure if late, but the actor who plays Pryce (the baseball card guy) used to go on local morning shows and pretend to be a yo-yo champion.
am i the only one who thinks chuck always annoyingly looks perplexed
it's like he's not even perplexed about what people are saying he's simply perplexed about how everyone can be this stupid around him

ITS A BULB YOU FUCKING IDIOT
Oh holy fuck Pryce is Nate in The Office.
Untagged spoiler outcome: Jimmy McGill never becomes the genuine and law-abiding lawyer that he aspires to be throughout the series. He resorts to defending murderous and guilty meth drug dealers that would disbar him in an instant if caught. A stint that would alienate him from his closest friends who consistently push Jimmy to be clean— should they find out.
I don't think he ever truly aspired to be a "genuine", law-abiding lawyer.
The entire premise of the story is if Jimmy evolves from slippin' Jimmy into a credible, real lawyer.
Which he obviously wont

And if he does not for long

He's a bit loose on following the law exactly but I think him walking away from a suitcase full of cash that wouldn't be missed shows he tried. Shame about Chuck being a massive dick, he might have actually made it otherwise.

Though wasn't there stuff like taking the money would have put him at risk?
No he did it because— he "wanted to do the right thing"

well i guess he's never letting that go in his way again

Executive Producer
Vince Gilligan
[sp]The cup fits now; all conflict of the show is resolved. Had fun watching an amazing series a shame to see it over so quickly.[/sp]
New episode was pretty great. I love that [sp] we can see more of Kim's "Giselle" side coming out, she seems to be sticking with Jimmy anyways. Also seeing the twins again was plenty badass[/sp]
