Netflix has Season 2 about 1 day after it airs here in Japan.. Weird.
I just use Amazon.com and it's the same way, day after US premier. I hope Giancarlo Esposito makes an apperance eventually in the series.
The UK gets BCS every Tuesday which I think is the day after airing.
I hope Giancarlo Esposito makes an apperance eventually in the series.
I would think that there would be a good chance of him appearing at some point, there are characters of mutual interest between them.
An interesting cameo would be Jesse in Walter's chemistry class but any cameo have to be directly tied to the story and make sense to the show— not something forced for the sake of cameo. I trust the team would have the creative power to do this and not something like Aaron Paul walking in the background. Jesse and Walt can't obviously know each other either. Maybe Jesse could already know Saul as he introduced Walter to him. Another question would be Jesse's age. Would he be in Middle School?
I don't know if Aaron Paul could pull off being a high school age character though, that's the thing.

Jesse can't really be in the show until a good amount of time later, like almost when BB starts. He'd need Saul's defense after some petty street crimes or whatever. And it's not really necessary for the writers to add him to the story anyway, and honestly at this point, I don't know if I want them to.
Given that Mike is probably going to be a prominent character throughout I think we can count on Gus appearing at some point.
The only place I would like to see Jesse in the show is in the after BB stuff.
People hated Skyler because that's exactly how she was written for the first four seasons. That was her role, the nagging wife neglecting her husband's needs, the IFT, the constant accusations and hypocrisy. That's the precise reason why people sided with Walt for all that time - he's the protagonist, if we're not siding with him then he fails at the one role he's got. It was the end of fourth and both fifth seasons that tried to shift the imbalance between the two, and for some it did - when they've seen through Walt's character. I didn't and I don't mind it.
Slightly late to this discussion but am I the only person who didn't hate Skyler? I just always thought she was wanting the best for the family and the flaws came from the stresses of Walt's terminal cancer and the feeling of having something hidden from her before she found out Walt cooks meth.
My only fault with BCS for now is Mike's stuff. It lacks a certain tension because we have a rough approximation of where the characters end up. Not saying it isn't great, because it is, but the inclusion of the [sp]cousins [/sp] irked me for this reason.

I don't mind that Mike's arc is kind of predictable because it's just so entertaining.
That's fair. Part of it might be that I like Nacho so much that having other characters from BB coming back kind of throws me off. Granted not to say it's not amazing, just a nitpick.
Hmm.. Which year does BCS take place in?
Hmm.. Which year does BCS take place in?
2002, 6 years before BB
2002, 6 years before BB
When Jimmy was looking at the inflatable man, and the car behind him honked, it then showed that the car was a new Chevy Aveo which didn't exist in 2002 :v:
When Jimmy was looking at the inflatable man, and the car behind him honked, it then showed that the car was a new Chevy Aveo which didn't exist in 2002 :v:
Yeah and the H2 Hummer didn't come out until 2004. That's the only place they've dropped the ball, continuity wise.
They don't pay excruciating attention to detail in regards to background stuff, like cars. People complained about that in the first episode, there were some new SUVs in the car-crash-con scene. It's understandable though, because closing off a chunk of Albuquerque and filling it with period-accurate cars with extras driving them can be a little expensive when the average viewer can't see much of a difference between cars from 2002 and from today.
Where have I seen [sp]the office Jimmy and Kim are buying[/sp] before?
That opening shot was really well done, it's hard to do convincing long takes that don't look like blatant choreography
Jimmy is a dick.
Starting to get the feeling that [sp]Mike is the one who puts Hector in that wheelchair.[/sp]
Why does the story arc never address the fact that Chuck's condition is placebo? This was revealed in the first few episodes when the nurse pulled the "dirty trick" and turned on an electronic without Chuck knowing as he lay clueless in the hospital bed. Jimmy knows it. Not sure why he had to pull out that gas lantern again while [sp]Chuck regressed into his larval state. I am not even sure why Jimmy pulled out the lantern while stealing documents. If he wanted to disable Chuck even longer without destroying him, a mobile flashlight will do— not like it will make a difference as long as Chuck is not aware (key difference) that Jimmy had the mobile. Jimmy could be on his laptop the entire time, and as long as Chuck did not know as he persisted in his vegetative state— it would make no difference to Chuck.[/sp] Also, what did Jimmy do? [sp] He changed two digits in the address for Mesa Verde. But what do they lead to and what difference do they make?[/sp]
Also, what did Jimmy do? [sp] He changed two digits in the address for Mesa Verde. But what do they lead to and what difference do they make?[/sp]
[sp]Where they lead doesn't matter that much I think, he's just trying to sow seeds of doubt in Mesa Verde in regards to whom they went with by forging some unprofessional typos. After Chuck's hard sell it could strike a blow.[/sp]
[sp]I thought it might make Chuck/HMM file incorrect paperwork, like permissions and such, for the wrong lot and that certainly wont make them look good.[/sp]
Is Mike [sp]planning an ambush?[/sp]
Is Mike [sp]planning an ambush?[/sp]
Why? Could it be that the new [sp]gun-story will not hold up in court, so he's preparing a preemptive strike?[/sp] Also, does anyone else think Chuck will end up killing himself due to his condition? Or maybe in response to something extremely foul and underhanded Jimmy did, causing Chuck to decide to not take it anymore.
Is Mike [sp]planning an ambush?[/sp]
[sp] I think he was making tire spikes with that garden hose[/sp] Overall, this episode had a lot of interesting setup with some formal plot progression on the side. Now it's all suspense about [sp]the handling of Mesa Verde, Mike's plan (he had almost no dialogue in this episode now that I think of it), and why the hell Jimmy was making a video with a phony war veteran[/sp]
Where have I seen [sp]the office Jimmy and Kim are buying[/sp] before?
Can someone please tell me it is killing me to try to remember. Even if he knows that Chuck's condition is placebo he will go with his wishes. Also where would he get a mobile flashlight from in a house with no electronic devices?[/sp]
The mailbox. But then I remembered this took place in 2002 so a phone flash light does not exist.
