By the trailer, I'm fairly certain this will be the last season of Ragnar. You see him get captured, you see everyone talking about revenge (without Ragnar), and you see him telling his children to essentially keep the legacy going.
This show is gonna get so much better. No more tiny raids, no more settlements.
This is when the vikings became one of the greatest fears of the whole world. All out war in England and the rise of Alfred the Great. They could make a series on this alone.
And they've only just scratched the surface of the expansiveness of viking excursions.
Game of Thrones can suck it.
Volume 1 of Season 4 is available for preorder on Amazon for Blu-ray and DVD. It'll be released Oct. 4th.
I've read up on most of the main plot stuff up until this point and been thinking about watching through it, is it worth it? I watch Game of Thrones as well but this looks pretty neat, too.

You really ought to watch it. It's like Game of Thrones but less gory (at times) and far less complicated plots of betrayal.
Started watching this series recently and now I'm starting to have a thing for braided hair

I don't really think the Game of Thrones comparison has enough merit to be worthwhile, but there are similarities. If you have an interest in vikings then it's definitely worth checking out, and I highly recommend that you at least give it until the second episode to make a decision on whether or not you wanna watch the rest of it. The first episode will give you a good idea of how the plot-driven episodes feel, and the second episode will do the same for the action-driven episodes.

Well, it's finally happened. It's been nice knowing you, [sp]Ragnar[/sp].
So season 4 of vikings got spoiled for me. Obviously I knew it would happen but I know when. There's no shock. I haven't watched Viking but I wanted to. I don't know if I should now
Just finished the entire series in 3 weeks. All caught up and ready for Season 5. Really good show and I made my wife take on a Lathertha hair style and she really likes it
new season is off to a pretty great start
In spirit of finishing up season 4 (and waiting to watch season 5), I figured I'd show off some of the jewelry I own from the guy that makes stuff for the show. https://www.craftycelts.com
My torc and bracelet. Ring isn't by him, but I threw it in there because I like it.

My Mjolnir neck charm which actually shows up on Harald Finehair's clothing (although I don't own the chain he has...yet.
