It feels like they're sorta half-assing the Haraldson's character completely.

And in the latest episode, [sp]his wife seems to do a complete 180 in character[/sp]

Everyone else is pretty good. Can't wait for the next episode, hope it really settles some...disputes.

Agreed, which sucks because Ragnar is a great protagonist. It's unbalanced.

I'm guessing that [sp]Ragnar is going to challenge the Earl, It's likely that the duel will fail and the Earl will pull back to consolidate his forces. He'll probably get backup from the Swede too. Ragnar will gather up people loyal to him and attack him and take over the little tribe or whatever. Then he'll probably start getting ready for lots of big raids into England?[/sp]

I think [sp]Ragnar is going to kill the Earl. I can't see Haraldson being able to back up, the whole society seems very religious and this duel isn't going to bode well for the Earl in front of the others if he retreats.[/sp]

My guess for the season ending: It'll be with Ragnar either departing Norway or arriving at England with a [I]fleet[/I] of longships and vikings.
