[sp]Also it looks like almost every major character except for maybe Saul went full bananas crazy[/sp]
[sp]walt jr ain't crazy [/sp]
also, did anyone notice that [sp]walt finally coughed for the first time since his lung cancer came back[/sp]
he [sp]coughed in the other episodes[/sp]
[sp] I think they'll spend the remaining episodes making us dislike Walt more and more and then show us a last bit of humanity in him in the end[/sp]
and [sp]then kill him[/sp]
i don't recall that at all
ill be honest
im hard to get into something, i barely ever watch tv
For the past month or so, I've been addicted to BrBa. That's an accomplishment!
what an episode
Man I'm not in touch with the series since last episode of the first half of the final season, how many episodes are out by now? Someone told me it was delayed to August.

It was delayed to August. There are 4 out now with an additional 4 to air in the future.
Holy shit, I missed quite a lot. I didn't know that there so many out right now. I'm used to watching series that air one episode a month or so.
I don't remember everything since the long break, might rewatch the season again.
Read a very interesting article about anti-heroes including Walter White, Dexter Morgan, and Donald Draper. It was a good read covering why they do what they do, and how viewers can sympathize with them.
On the next page was an article about female anti-heroes, and something about some feminism rule. Saying that even though Skyler is a good anti-hero, she's still subject to sexism because in order to be a true woman hero/anti-hero, a show needs to fit three categories:
Two female main characters.
Who discuss problems, solutions, and events.
And the issues they discuss cannot be related to men in any way.
So they said Skyler can't be a true anti-hero because her problems are related to Walt.
There was one of those 4chan "spoilers" that interestingly enough predicted Jessie pouring gasoline all over Walt's carpet. It got some things wrong in the episode before that, but last week's episode was spot on. I don't think it said much about this week's episode, but the alleged final scene of the show was apparently [sp]Walt confronting Jessie in high school and saying he really needed to apply himself and do better, and all Jessie says is "Whatever, thanks for nothing Mr. White"[/sp]
I think that'd be an amazing ending.
That ending in my opinion has one of the worst lines to end this show. Plus those spoilers turned out to be completely off because they give a big role to a group that isn't even around anymore.

the show is about walt not skyler but even though she has a lot of involvement she's subject to sexism because it isn't all about her? what is the article even trying to say?
This season is pretty good but there's one thing I'm not buying.
Guess I'll sp this [sp]Why would Walt keep the book that Gale gave him after the scene where Hank discusses the initials in Gale's notes with Walt? Hank finds the book on the toilet, then Walt miraculously remembers it and looks for it as he's puking. Seems a bit contrived. Walt has gone to great lengths to cover up his criminal activity, why would he leave something so damning in his house, where his DEA brother-in-law visits frequently?[/sp]
Honestly at this point I just want Jesse to come out on top. Maybe not "win" but to be able to walk away.

Season 5 part one spent a lot of time [sp]showing how big Walter's ego had gotten. Things like answering valid questions with "Because I say so." Hiring Todd's uncle and them telling him "It can be done exactly how I want."[/sp]

[sp]It's funny how people say this considering how unlikely it is. I have a feeling very few people will end up being able to "walk away." And I'd be very surprised if either Walt or Jesse were one of them.[/sp]

[sp]As it's been said before, Walt probably didn't know that Gale signed the book. The ink made the pages stick together. Hell, he probably still doesn't know.[/sp]

[sp]I'm pretty sure he knew the whole time. He didn't ask or wonder what tipped Hank off. Remember he got suspicious when the book went missing right when Hank got "sick." That's when he went to check his car for trackers.[/sp]
Agree - You're on Walters side
Informative - You're on the Police's Side/Jesses Side
I haven't had this feeling since Dexter season two. Except now it's even harder to choose.
This is from an official interview:
[sp]But if Walt knows that the inscription is there, why would he leave it lying around in a house that he knows Hank visits all the time?
Vince Gilligan: Because Hank is not a poetry reader, I think. (laughs) I think this speaks a fair bit to Walt's increasing comfort level with living a life of crime. People get comfortable in their lives, and I think unfortunately for Walt, it's no different. I think it's a similar mindset to the Walt that keeps the plastic eyeball eyeball from the teddy bear, keeps it around and doesn't get rid of it. Clearly, it was a mistake on Walt's part to keep it around. But it was a matter of nostalgia.[/sp]
Walt [sp]got too comfortable and too proud. He wasn't careful enough and it brought about his current downfall.[/sp]

I hope Walt actually goes through with killing him, even via proxy.

Last night's ending reminded me of this

dude quick spoiltag that walt
you might ruin the whole show
[sp]I'm still rooting for Walt not because of his evilness but because he always focused on his number 1 goal ever since Season 1, but ever since Season 3 changed for the worse because of conflict. Walt's ego got bigger and bigger until he really wanted to do meth even with all that money because he was good at it.[/sp] I don't think Walt is to blame, yet will probably take a change of heart at the end.
I'm not hoping for any one person to "win", but I would always try to justify Walt's actions, as silly as it sounds.
[sp]That is, until he killed Mike.[/sp]
Friend of mine has started to refer to Todd as "Meth Damon" and I can't stop thinking of Matt Damon whenever I see him now.

I'm surprised that after all this time people still think that Bechdel test matters and is in any way an indicator of quality.
Here's something to rev up those people that believe Walt takes something from everyone he kills.
[sp]In the flashforward of Live Free or Die, Walt takes his coffee black. In Rabid Dog, Jesse takes his coffee black as well.[/sp]
Probably nothing, but it's enough to drive a few people crazy.

Yeah, so that's just adding on to that factor.
Maybe because black coffee is the best kind of coffee?

[sp]this could be a reference to Gus making a comeback :O
