Is there a famous Mexican poet with initials "W.B."?
Walt Bitman
If there was a Saul spin-off, I'd love it to be in mockumentary format.
I bet it's all just a ruse so no one see's the death of him coming
[sp]I am probably more confident in my mind that Saul will die than I am confident any other main character will. While I am expecting a bloodbath, if for some reason we only had two or three big deaths, I'd expect Saul to be one of them.[/sp]
Regardless I think the spinoff would be a prequel. [sp]There's big trouble coming, and even if Saul survives, I doubt he'd take any more even remotely dangerous clients. And hopefully we'd see a lot of Johnathan Banks and possibly some Giancarlo Esposito in it.[/sp]
Above all else though, the show must be titled "Better Call Saul." To me I think that's even more important than whether or not it sucks.
Another one of those really really beautiful Breaking Bad mashup/edits

Has spoilers, of course.

[sp]After sticking him in the same bloody suit that Tony Montana wears in Scareface I'm pretty god damned certain at this point that Saul is gonna go down in a blaze of glory. Hell, maybe he takes control of the M60 at some point and goes down in a Tony Montana style firefight.[/sp]
[sp]i'd love to see saul just be like "ok fuck this" before shooting every main character and retreating to alakasa (with huell who he shot but did not harm because everyone knows huell is bulletproof)[/sp]
[sp]Am I the only one who really wanted to see how Hank told Gomez about all the crazy walt shit
I don't know I was kind of really looking forward to that conversation happening[/sp]

I love it, Cielo Blanco literally translates to Sky White, Jose Rosas is Jose Pink, haha.

Cant wait to see who plays Saul Buenohombre
I know this is ancient news for you guys, but I only just came across that Breaking Bad VS Nerdist bowling challenge video. And holy shit;

It's kind of strange to hear RJ Mitte slur as much IRL as he does in the show.
I have a sinking feeling that [sp]Gomie is going to bite the dust next episode. :([/sp]

Holy shit I watched all the new episodes and just finished episode 12. This half of the season is just spectecular. This is actually really a series that doesn't have any fillers, I expected that they would make the buildup so dramatic and long but it's actually really intense.
When is the next episode out?

[sp]I also wanted to see Marie's reaction to the news.[/sp]

[sp]I know people say the "everyone dies" ending would be too predictable, but honestly I think I'd still really like to see it. Even if it's not literally every single person, I'd like a bloodbath.[/sp]
It's funny when I watched the whole series, I was always rooting for a different person. Now I'm hoping that Hank succeeds in his investigation.

[sp]Even though I'm expecting this to be a "Nobody wins" ending, I'm still rooting for Hank and Jesse.
Regardless, I'm hoping for an explosive ending to this show. I don't necessarily want Todd's group to be responsible for any main character deaths. At this point they seem to be the only potential threat to Hank, Saul, Skyler, Jr, and Holly. At this point Walt wouldn't kill any of them, and neither would Jesse.
I want everything to fall apart, but I want it to be more of a direct result of Walt's actions. If it were Todd and his crew that end up causing most of the bloodbath, it better be because Walt did something to instigate it. If they do it just out of greed for their own reasons, it would be a little too indirect for me.[/sp]
I don't know why, but I just can't find myself rooting for Hank. I feel sorry for him 110%, but I really don't want the series to end with [sp] Hank wins. [/sp]
[sp]There's no way it will end as Hank wins the end. I'm not even hoping for that. I'm just on his side, even though I know it's futile.[/sp]
I really hope [sp]Jesse wins, it's actually difficult seeing him in his current state if you go all the way back to season 1. Walt has totally ruined his life and I'd love him to come out on top happy, even if he dies. I'd just want him to be old Jesse for a split second because it's horrible seeing what he's become. [/sp]

[sp]hank will win in the sense that... walter will not be free from the repurcussions of his actions. justice will be served, it may not be by him, and he may not survive to see it; but that's what he truly wants.
no one is going to win in this, this is the endgame.[/sp]
You guys might know this, but I felt like pointing it out again for those who don't.

Top: Scarface
Bottom: Breaking Bad
One thing that I'm still waiting for [sp]is me hating Walt. Don't get me wrong, I know he's a bad person and he did a lot of evil stuff but for me there still wasn't that moment. Some act that makes me want him to fail/die. I know he's not going to end up well but that's about it. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, maybe we aren't supposed to hate him but see him as the bad guy he is. I could list many things that should make me hate him but none of them was enough.[/sp]
[sp]maybe in those moments before jesse freaked out and ran from walt, he realized he couldn't bring himself to turn walt in or anything like that. they've been through a lot together, maybe he still feels some sort of loyalty, no matter how tiny. not even loyalty, just regret or something, jesse hasn't wanted to hurt many people at all throughout the whole series and despite the horrible things walt did to him, maybe jesse just didn't have it in him to bring about walt's downfall. maybe the phone call was a subtle warning to him, even if jesse himself didn't realize it, he could have subliminally been saying "get out of here you're in danger" or something like that. hell, he could've thought "wait a minute i don't even know his side of the story" (although that's unlike). i have a feeling there is some sort of unexpected thing along these lines going on.[/sp]

[sp]i think it's because we saw him develop from an underachieving family man to a ruthless druglord, despite the horrible things hes done we've seen his motives and even if they are selfish and evil they're still actions performed by the main character. no matter how immoral it may seem, you started watching the show thinking "okay so walt is the good guy wooo" and got used to his deeds as he got darker and darker.[/sp]

It happens to different people at different times. [sp]A few people stopped liking Walt right after Jane. A decent amount of people hated him after Brock. But the moment that turned more people against Walt than anything else(including me) was when he killed Mike.[/sp]

[sp]I hated walt the entire time between Jane and Rabid Dog, at this point he just wants to be left alone and everyone chasing him is a psycho or an asshole anyway[/sp]

wasnt the fly episode sort of an unneeded episode?
According to creator Vince Gilligan, this was a "bottle episode." Because the season was already "hopelessly over budget," it became necessary to create an episode with minimal production costs. By filming in one location and using the fewest number of actors in the series to date, "Fly" cost substantially less than the average episode.
The Fly episode had another vibe to me, personally I thought it was kind of a filler episode but considering that the series has a really high standard, it's not really that bad. The episode itself had some good character developement between Jesse and Walter.
You can't blame the series to be boring because of one episode. That episode was different because it took place at one location which is rather unusual.
