I would be in serious trouble if Breaking Bad was a book series. I would never stop reading it before the end. In how much books do you think BrBa would fit? 5 books of 500~600 pages each is my guess.
Well this is interesting. Breaking Bad is getting a Spanish adaptation for the Hispanic market. He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling meth with a former student with the goal of securing his family’s financial future before he passes away.
i literally only got bored at this show watching old (s1+2) skylar parts, everything else was interesting honestly
So far I've only found Walt's house and Saul's office [t]http://i.imgur.com/6TNFu5j.jpg[/t]
Shit man. Im on S2EP13 and [sp] Jesse crying over Jane's death. That hit me hard [/sp]
but you need season 2 in order to even enjoy season 3 a little bit.
That's not true, I only had season 1 and 3 and now I've seen 2, it really doesn't make that much difference missing it, it's not hard to pick up on the stuff that you missed.

The studio had shot and shopped a Spanish-language Breaking Bad pilot for the U.S. and Latin American markets but has not decided what network(s) it would go with or whether it would proceed with the series at all.
On S3EP1. [sp]God skylar is a bitch, ruining shit[/sp]
On S3EP1. [sp]God skylar is a bitch, ruining shit[/sp]
Skyler really isn't a bitch though.
Skyler really isn't a bitch though.
dude what kind of bitch doesn't support their husband's secret drug manufacturing?
Skyler really isn't a bitch though.
Her motivations are good, but damn she is acting like a bitch, you can't deny that.
Her motivations are good, but damn she is acting like a bitch, you can't deny that.
How would someone be expected to react when they find out that their husband [sp]turned down the offer of having his medical bills paid out of pride[/sp], turned to actively making and selling Meth and dragged his family into danger?
Her motivations are good, but damn she is acting like a bitch, you can't deny that.
frankly if it were The Skylar Show and you followed Skylar around for 2 seasons then all of a sudden PLOT TWIST, WALT MAKES METH everyone would be like WOW DIVORCE THIS ASSHOLE
Maybe not (found in the same source)
And I'm wrong http://www.avclub.com/articles/univisions-spanishlanguage-version-of-breaking-bad,97684/
Apparently Vince Gilligan actually addressed the Skyler hate in NYMag.
"We've been at events and had all our actors up onstage, and people ask Anna Gunn, 'Why is your character such a bitch?' And with the risk of painting with too broad a brush, I think the people who have issues with the wives being too bitchy on Breaking Bad are misogynists, plain and simple. I like Skyler a little less now that she's succumbed to Walter's machinations, but in the early days she was the voice of morality on the show. She was the one telling him, 'You can't cook crystal meth.' She's got a tough job being married to this asshole. And this, by the way, is why I should avoid the Internet at all costs. People are griping about Skyler White being too much of a killjoy to her meth-cooking, murdering husband? She's telling him not to be a murderer and a guy who cooks drugs for kids. How could you have a problem with that?"
Oh, and it appears that the last half of Season 5 will feature a new recurring character named "Lester". http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1324884/
A lot of my friends are saying that season 5 of this show is probably the most consistently amazing season so far. I haven't gotten that far quite just yet, but what do you guys think of it?
I would go into a coma until part 2 comes out. [sp]not really but I really want to see part 2 of it already, its a pretty great season imo[/sp]

I haven't gotten that far quite just yet, but what do you guys think of it?
i liked season 4 more, but it's definitely good [editline]13th May 2013[/editline] also i never thought skyler came across as a bitch. [sp]i mean, she NEVER told anyone, and even came up with the elaborate gambling story to try and protect walt. she's kinda just an ordinary loving wife and mother that's been thrown into walt's life of crime, and i'd be scared of walt too and want to protect my children from him after that whole "I AM THE DANGER" speech and killing somebody as significant in the world of drugs as gus fring[/sp] marie is the real bitchy character most of the time, and even she knows when to be serious.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1324884/
because we naturally agree with the... "protagonist"? He of all people should know that.
I take back Skyler being a bitch. Marie is the bitch here.
I must confess I've still yet to figure out Marie's role in the show
to wear purple
I must confess I've still yet to figure out Marie's role in the show
Marie is kind of like the face of innocence. I think Vince loves having very deep and disturbing scenes with Walt and then cutting to Marie upset because her flowers are wilting or something stupid like that. It's really jarring, but in a good way. The same can sort of be said for Walt Jr, but he sort of just sits there and eats cereal. I think he's more of a plot device to give Walt some motivation in the earlier seasons.
Walt Jr. definitely served to generate sympathy for Walt, but I'm assuming he's going to get a really big role in this last season. It just would seem like a shame if nothing happens with Marie, she's a main character and I feel like they wouldn't just let that potential go to waste. Maybe Walt kills her or something :v:
How would someone be expected to react when they find out that their husband [sp]turned down the offer of having his medical bills paid out of pride[/sp], turned to actively making and selling Meth and dragged his family into danger?
Of course, [sp]sleeping with own boss, and saying this with pride right into the face of your husband[/sp] is a rational reaction to finding out that he is a drug dealer. Seriously, she's not a total bitch, but don't make her a second Mother Theresa.
Yeah Walt makes methamphetamine and commits murder and Skylar sleeps around, basically the same thing. Don't forget that Walt literally tries to cheat too, out of nothing more than a sense of revenge.
Maybe Walt kills her or something :v:
Would actually be quite good. What if she found out, was all hysterical, and Walt needed to shut her up?
