I had a dream last night that I met Bryan Cranston in a bar in my town, I grunted "Heisenberg!" at him as I walk past, he smiled and nodded at me. He later came over to our table and started saying hi and being his usual self, making everyone laugh. Strangely he had the goatee he has in the show now but the hair he has in real life. After a while of talking he had to go and I immediately posted to Facebook telling everyone. I regretted not asking for a picture with him. There's more to the dream but I've gotten to the point where most of it is forgotten :(
[sp]Yeah, they don't seem to be complete amateurs and it doesn't make much sense to me. If somehow they had a bad position or bad angle to shoot from, it should have been very clear from the start. The thing is that the whole scence just looks like a clear case right from the bat. There is a heavy emphasis on the automatic weapons, including the automatic shotgun. They are all stationary and have enough time to set up and aim properly. Furthermore we know that they are pretty skillful because they killed declan gangs without any issue and the jail killings.
If Hank and Gomez get out alive, it's poor writing. They should have shot it differently and kept the shootout for the next episode.[/sp]
Had to make a new account for this idiot.
If you watch the scene again during the shootout, most of it is repeating clips but from different angles. So when you saw the nazi start shooting for a while, hank and gomey were already going to cover. They weren't fucking standing there. When it did show them get to cover that was from the second the guy started shooting. Most of the scene was just repeating over and over again.
Plus, there's this fucking angle.

I think that scene was just very badly directed (which is unusual for breaking bad)
I think that scene was fucking great.
[sp] Just re-watching it. The fucking tension as the Nazis rolled up. AND AS SOON AS HANK PULLS OUT HIS GUN, HOLY FUCK! I get chills, anxiety, adrenaline and all that shit when I watch it. [/sp]

I noticed that Gomez and Hank were slowly moving towards the cars the whole time and yes the angle seems kind of inconveniant, my point is that it should have been better directed and cut together. I watched this episode with a few friends and everyone agreed that the scence was a bit exagerated, it just looked like the Nazis hit jack shit. If they made it far more clear and obvious that it was a bad angle, than it would have been a lot better and clearer to anyone.
Everyone who sees that scence is immediately saying "They can't shoot for shit" and not "oh it's a fucking bad angle".
Christ, take some chill pills. I was just expressing my opinion about this shootout scene.
okay what the hell they can't just cut it there :suicide:

The only bothering thing that was unlike Breaking Bad was the amount of shaky cam in the last 10 minutes, but it wasn't much of a problem (although it pulled me out of the tension for a bit).

This just screams "Sergio Leone". And it's a great thing.
Is that clip up on youtube or something yet?
So, a friend of mine came up with a pretty interesting theory: [sp] Nazis want pure meth, right? Who can cook except for Walt? Jesse. So they kidnap him and make him cook. Walt wants to save him and therefore gets the M60 and ricin. Plausible?[/sp]
I think what I love about the latest series so far is how much shit it looks like it's throwing at us to show the bigger picture just to highlight the fact (in my mind and I guess most other people's) that it's all a backdrop for Walt and Jesse's feud.
saw this on /tv/ and thought it was interesting (mild spoiler on the most recent episode)

this comparison makes me wish Cranston's face was as intense as Norton's was in that scene...

I think the [sp]M60 part is kind of too far in the future for that to happen. I'd think Walt would try to save him right away (if at all), not wait 'till his hair grows back.[/sp]
[sp]I think the M60 will be used on the nazis. They're a big group with a lot of guns, if Walt wants to take them on he'll need it. He'll probably attempt to use the ricin on Jesse. In both cases I'd assume his motive would be revenge, I'm just wondering why he waits so long to do it. Two federal agents being gunned down in the desert would stir up a ton of trouble for Walt, Marie would instantly inform the DEA of Hank's investigation. Maybe he leaves town and waits for things to cool down before coming back for revenge.[/sp]

[sp] This has always been my assumption since I've seen the episode, but the more and more I think about it, the more and more I kind of doubt it. I mean, it would seem like a cop out to have a group introduced in the last season as the final antagonist (to walt), and Vince is anything but predictable. [/sp]
One little goof I recently noticed is that [sp]Tohajilee is an hour and a half away from ABQ, so that would mean Walt was on the phone for that long with Jesse. At the rate Jesse said he would burn his money, he would've lost it all and Walt would have plenty of time to figure out it was a trap[/sp]

[sp] 10 grand an hour, and you think all of Walts money would be gone in an hour and a half? He had a lot of money dude [/sp]
[sp]At first I was kind of hopeful that maybe Hank would survive because the cliffhanger and that it would be too "obvious" that Hank is going to die but there's just no fucking way he won't, and I am upset about that because I really like Hank.[/sp]

[sp]I think Jesse said that it was 10 grand a minute. Though Walt probably drove wayyyy over the speed limit once he got off to the smaller roads, so that would have cut down the time significantly. [/sp]
This is the most painful wait. The last 3 episodes of season 4 and 5A were pretty much flawless. I can't see the end of the run being any different. <3 "Fuck you and wait until sunday." Sincerely - Vince Gilligan

Actually, I really like the Nazis. Todd and his Uncle are really cool dudes.

Your friend didn't come up with that; he got it off Reddit

This theory has been floating around for a while now, even before last week's episode aired. Kinda hard to attribute it to anyone. It's like saying Reddit came up with the "Walt takes habits from people he's killed" theory.
