i really do hope that skylar [sp]knew walt's phone call was a last ditch effort to save his family. it's hard to tell whether or not she did, her compliance in the call is indicative of her realising this, but i don't know. under all the bad things walt has done, he's still a good man. a good man who got blinded by greed. but i'm positive he sees this now. i'm positive that contraty to what some people are saying, heisenberg is the one that's dead. all that's left of heisen is an act, an act to save his family. i am still on walt's side. he's obviously done really terrible reasons but beneath it all he's incredibly selfless. there was a large period when the money got the best of him, but he's always been trying to keep his family safe. obviously he realises now that his empire was doing anything but, but he sacrificed walter white as everyone knew it to absolve his family. can you imagine completely tarnishing your name, even to your own son, to save them? i'm not a walt apologist. but he's still the hero of the show to me. an anti-hero who lost his way, and caused more damage than anybody could have imagined, with and without malice, but he's still the hero. and now he's fully realising just how much damage he's done. but he's still a good man underneath it all.[/sp]
[sp] Judging from her facial expressions, it seemed fairly obvious that she understood his motive Also, she knew that Hank was dead(sort of got the idea), but she obviously asked it again in front of the police to go with the show[/sp]
There's minisodes?
As soon as Skylar said, [sp]"I'm sorry", I'm fairly certain she knew, and was actually apologizing for not realizing it sooner.[/sp]
That fucking episode man. Think that may have been the best one so far. I've never physically reacted to any other program like I did to that one, almost needed to take a breather.
the finale is the day before my birthday it's gonna fuck me up
I'll be able to watch the last episode on Netflix precisely on my birthday :v:
has anyone pointed out [sp]how reminiscent walt's reaction to hank's death was to gus's reaction to his partner's death? not only that, but the way he told jesse about jane reminded me a LOT of the way gus tortured hector, by telling him about what happened to his family.[/sp]
[sp]I know Walt is obviously pissed off and blaming Jesse for Hank's death by tricking him to go out there and then calling for backup, but what on Earth makes him think that trading Jesse's life away is gonna make him feel any better. When he's had time to just sit down and come to terms with what he's done it's going to DESTROY him. ... hell, maybe to the point whereby he purchases an M60 and goes on a one man killing spree to right his final wrong.[/sp]
-Snip Spoils my bad
-snip reading through this thread made me realize what [sp]walt[/sp] actually did, I'm stupid.-
Screw this show In one single episode Vince has flipped all my love-hate characters I can't stand Walt anymore
[sp]It had to happen eventually, not surprised. But i still was. Jesus christ what[/sp]
Screw this show In one single episode Vince has flipped all my love-hate characters I can't stand Walt anymore
[sp]jesse couldn't see that walt was trying to protect him the entire time, even by poisoning brock. jesse also led to walt's family finding out about him, and also hank's death. he is filled with boiling fucking rage right now. walt's reaction wasn't "bad", i think it was realistic.[/sp]
Holy fucking shit, this episode. I can't wait to discuss this one with the mates out drinking come saturday.
[sp]I really hope that theory about the M60 being used on the aryans isn't true, it's too obvious to think of[/sp]

SKYLER I'm sorry that's all
I like to think [sp]Hank dying[/sp] is what [sp]"killed" what remained of Walter White[/sp] it's all [sp]Heisenberg now.[/sp]
except it's the total opposite of that. it brought him back to earth. his last final act was just an act.
Some girl on my girlfriend's facebook just posted all the spoilers for this episode (it hasn't even aired in Australia yet). She got 437 hate comments for it, yet she literally tried to rebut with "get ova it cunts". I feel terrible for the 100's of people that she spoiled the show for. I thought this episode was a masterpiece...But I guess that all would have been lost on her.
just report it for hate speech. the face book moderator will understand
And it's gone.
Having just found out about these minisodes is the bomb. Especially with how dark the latest episode was, it's good to see how light hearted the show could be too.
The scene where [sp]Jesse gets leashed up in the lab[/sp] reminded me of this and made it all the more disturbing.
Holy shit, son. [sp]I mean, crap, I expected Gomez to die... But Hank, wow. I think it's pretty clear by now that either in Granite State or Felina Walt will take on the Nazis. I'm dying to know however, what is going to happen to Jesse now during that? I'm not expecting to see him getting killed until this very final moment.[/sp]
it's been staring us in the face all along
except it's the total opposite of that. it brought him back to earth. his last final act was just an act.
I think [sp]Hank's death[/sp] did 90% of the work but [sp]seeing Jr. and Skyler on the floor in complete fear of him[/sp] solidified it.
SKYLER I'm sorry that's all
Every time someone says "Jessie," a little piece of me dies. /sperg
gessy
Holy shit that episode. [sp]I still have no clue whether he's a bad guy or a misunderstood good guy, very good storytelling there[/sp]
i really like how they never have to explain situations, instead they use previous knowledge of the viewer or visual cues, it really helps with the immersion
