All of Vince Gilligan's "vague teasers" are all literal, simple/unimportant details in the episode. Watch the final one throw us off and be complete foreshadowing.
Yeah the season finale vague teaser is [sp]Look for Walt to gun down all the Nazis with an M60.[/sp]
Ugh I don't even know what I'll do once this is over. Homeland? Whatever I do watch, it probably won't rhyme with Bow Minter Run
i've got a few shows lined up on watching hell on wheels boardwalk empire spartacus game of thrones and of course the walking dead when it returns.
I'll probably work my way through rewatching Generation Kill, Band of Brothers, and The Pacific once Breaking Bad is over.
i hope vance william makes another show after this
I'll probably work my way through rewatching Generation Kill, Band of Brothers, and The Pacific once Breaking Bad is over.
I'll probably finish The Wire, then go on to The Shield and The Sopranos. The the the.
[sp]Did everyone forgot about the picture that is hanging on the wall there, in the lab? They will probably kill those two if Jesse tries anything funny, and I bet he knows that.[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, but if he suicides the meth lab, whether he survives or not, that's why he'd take out the nazis with him[/sp]
-snip this is dumb-
[sp]I think Walt and Heisenberg is just one cohesive being now. They're just one. [/sp]
They always were one. He didn't have multiple personality disorder or something. The only difference is now he doesn't have to pretend he isn't a meth dealer since everyone knows it.
yeah that was bad wording on my part. i can't collect my thoughts properly. i'm still recovering from the episode.
You think he meant for all that to happen? If I recall correctly, he wanted to be a cook and nothing else going into it. No meeting with clients, no negotiations, just a meth cook. Shit just happened along the way.
lol [sp]Walt refused to have his treatment payed for him out of sheer pride and a massive grudge.[/sp]
I heard Vince Gilligan wants to make films after Breaking Bad. I don't want him to though. I want him and his amazing writing team to make another amazing TV show. Films are good and all but I really do prefer an amazing TV show to an amazing film. Something to look forward to week by week and year by year.

I just watched Ozymandias. [sp]Holy fuck, these confrontations are heavy man and they always managed to make it worse. Also this episode had great visual clues and camerawork. You never really knew what was going to happen. Also the abrupt way that Hank is killed is just so powerful. [/sp]
I wonder how it feels for Gilligan to know that he is behind one of the (if not THE) best TV dramas of all time Sure it must feel fucking fantastic as all hell, but I'd imagine it could give him immense pressure when it comes to writing future stuff. Hopefully in the future he manages to do something equally great, if not even greater.

do people forget gilligan is behind THE tv series? you know, the one with aliens and duchovny and shit the one that's being referenced years later you know, x-files? yeah I think it rings a bell

My parents always watched it when it aired originally, but I was only a youngin' and from what I remember I was terrified by the show and only sat through one or two episodes.
The X-Files is wonderful, especially the middle few seasons.
Yeah films definitely have their advantages and I love them as much as the next person. The quality of TV shows has been getting higher and higher on TV, to the point where they can tell better stories than movies can. You get a lot more development in a way, due to the structure of TV shows. I can't even imagine how much pressure is on Gilligan for future stuff, especially Better Call Saul if it happens. However, if he sticks to the same writing staff it could still be very good. Maybe not Breaking Bad tier, but very good television. One thing I really like about Breaking Bad is that although its very serious and dark, you know the crew all love working on it and they are all happy outside of the show. Sopranos and The Wire along with other top TV shows often had clashing between actors and writers etc, especially David Chase on Sopranos, but everybody that has something to do with Breaking Bad seems like they enjoy every minute of it and seem great with fans.

Chris Carter was the one who created that show and handled a bulk, if not all, of the mythology episodes.
I don't doubt that Vince's future will be just as if not more successful than his time working on Breaking Bad. He's got unbelievable talent and has worked with a phenomenal cast & crew. I won't be surprised if his next works includes a lot of the same crewmemebers from BrBa. What I like most about Vince's talent is that he doesn't just tell a story from afar where we the audience are simply viewing the events unfold; but it's like he manages to toss us right in the center of each scene. Remember the scene when, [sp]Jesse comes to dinner with Walt and Skyler?[/sp] The tension and awkwardness was so naturally apparent that I felt as if I were sitting at the table with them. That's just one scene of many others that are even better at inducing that feeling of involvement.
[sp] maybe todd saw how unhappy jesse was and tried to make him feel better with a homely picture of his close relation and her son :) [/sp]
I just watched Ozymandias. [sp] Also the abrupt way that Hank is killed is just so powerful. [/sp]
To me, it was very tarantino-esque.
Did anyone else cry when they were watching the latest episode?
Yup [editline]18th September 2013[/editline] Whole episode was tense/kinda teary then [sp]Marie's face whilst Skylar got the news over the phone[/sp] let loose the waterworks :v:
lol [sp]Walt refused to have his treatment payed for him out of sheer pride and a massive grudge.[/sp]
Not only that; later on he [sp]refused to sell his methylamine for $5 mil and get out of the business, also because of pride[/sp] [sp]he also admitted he wasn't in it for the money for his family, he was in it for the EMPIRE (I'm not in the money business, I'm in the empire business)[/sp]
