I tried, but I just don't have an interest in medieval settings. Really wish I could get into things like GoT and Lord of the Rings as much as other people can. Maybe I'll give it a second shot sometime, but I still need to catch up on Mad Men.

A tagline used when the show was first starting was "It's not about if he dies, it's about when." Of course at that point the show's ending was not set in stone, and the tag was referring to the cancer. But I still think Walt's going to die one way or another. I mean they have been dropping hints that the cancer is back.[/sp]

[sp]I agree with you there, Walt didn't look very sick on his 52nd birthday either. But there seemed to be some foreshadowing recently towards the cancer. I would say the cancer is back and that's what convinces him to stop running and fight, but I'd assume he'd be in a much worse condition if he went a year having untreated cancer.[/sp]

I hope they're well put together. What scares me is them [sp]fitting an entire year into about 9 eps, when the first 4 and a half seasons were a single year. Walt changed so much in a single year, and now they're just barely skimming through the next year.[/sp]

Honestly I'm glad they decided to stop it before it lost quality. Show was originally only supposed to last 3 seasons. I'd be complaining about them continuing after season 3, if seasons 4 and 5 were even the tiniest bit lacking in quality. Fortunately the show seems to be getting better as it goes on. Better to quit while you're peaking, drop even a tiny bit and that's all people will remember.

That scene was so out of place, and so sudden, that I was shocked and it took me a minute to get back into the show.

I love how after watching through the show your perspective on Walt and Jesse completely changes. When the show first starts, Walter is the upstanding citizen, and Jesse is the punk criminal. [sp]By the time I got to Season 4, I realized how Jesse has always been the real good guy of the show. It's so easy for people like me to look at a character like Jesse and just see a criminal, the show's ability to reveal the tragedy and conflict in his life is incredible.[/sp]
