I recognize most of the people on this, but who is the family on the center-bottom-right with the kid on the computer? And the guy with the big glasses next to the folding chair?
I think the family with the kid on the computer is Jesse's brother and parents. The guy with the folding chair is Jesse's NA councilor

Cripes.
Jesse's parents and brother.
Oh wow, I completely forgot they even existed. People you'd think would be at least fairly relevant to the plot and yet they're barely even mentioned...
...but thinking about it now, I have a hunch they might make an appearance in the finale. Even if Jesse is completely severed from his family, they would have to feel an effect from it at some point.

donald margolis never died
donald margolis never died
[sp]It's pretty heavily implied. He was rushed to the hospital with a self inflicted gunshot wound[/sp]
I liked that drug councillor guy. He was a nice man.
he's literally been dying of cancer since the first episode. how can he possibly NOT be doing this for his family? there is no scenario in which he lives. even when it was in remission he knew in his gut it would come back. at what point could he have been making all this money for himself? at every opportunity he's been trying to set up a future for his family. that chain of car washes certainly wasn't for himself! obviously he's done terrible things but he's always had good intentions, even when he was in the 'empire business'. the money and power went to his head in the previous seasons. but it was still all for his family. he had never planned on being caught so it wasn't for a legacy, a legacy nobody would even know.
it was always for the money which was always for his family. there is literally no reason you could possibly think otherwise.
you're judging him on an incredibly surface level. despite killing people he's always been pretty selfless, even his self preservation was only so he could further help his family. his son has fucking cerebral palsy for fuck sake. kid needs money.
i'm not making excuses for his bad actions. just giving the reasons behind them.
In the first episode, it also shows him looking depressed over his old 1985 award to the contribution of the Nobel Peace prize. It was always his pride that got in the way tbh and a longing that he can accomplish something big, since he missed out on his chance with Grey Matter. He just felt the meth making business was his thing. He could have taken Elliot's money for cancer treatment. He could have stopped making meth after he paid for his cancer treatment and the extra money he made. It got to the point they couldn't launder it, I think the 80 million dollars weren't just for his family but to also give him a sense of accomplishment

Half Life 3 confirmed
The kid who met Vince Gilligan and the cast before he passed away from cancer contributed to the show:
http://tv.yahoo.com/news/breaking-bad-made-dying-boy-wish-come-true-153505871.html
“Kevin, who was our wonderful, No. 1 fan… he told me that first day I spent with him, visiting him, he told me what he liked about the show and I said, ‘Is there something you feel is missing from the show?’” Gilligan said on the “Breaking Bad Insider” podcast. [sp]“He said, ‘You know what, I want to know more about Gretchen and Elliott. I want to know more about Walt’s backstory with them. I want to know what happened.’”
[Gilligan added: “I can’t promise you you will ever get your complete knowledge of that situation to your total satisfaction, but the very fact that Kevin mentioned Gretchen and Elliott led us — the writers and I — to reintroduce them, reincorporate them into the story.”[/sp]
I kinda laughed when Flynn was yelling down the phone and all i could think was that his headteacher was probably thinking
"my god his aunt marie really fucked up this time"

Yes, and it's still a selfless act, because Walt is still dying of cancer and is still giving all the money to his family.
Yeah, Walt has really no use for his cash, besides from, well, running the car business and taking care of any other expenses, money-laundering etc.
It's just that Walt is incredibly proud of his life's work, which is the 90 million drug money, which is for his family. But due to recent complications, it's not so easy.
And also like they established in the previous seasons, you DON'T GO TO THE DEA.
Jesse was an incredible pussy blinded by rage who couldn't see that Walt had no other option but to poison Brock back there and then, when executing the plan to take out Gus Fring.

thinking about how [sp]mike said jack "wasn't a problem", imagine if walt didn't kill mike. maybe somehow saul would get in contact with him, he'd come back and would use his mad killa skills to sort all the mess with the nazis[/sp]

just imagining him [sp]putting the nazis DOWN is fun, mike + walt vs the nazis would be so cool[/sp]
