[sp]it's kind of obvious he's going to, in one way or another.[/sp]
[sp]A show about a terminally ill main character who gets about as deep in illegal shit as he can possibly get has the main character die at the end? I NEVER WOULD'VE GUESSED![/sp]
What session are we on now? I tuned out at session 2. Sorry. Catch me up please?
What session are we on now? I tuned out at session 2. Sorry. Catch me up please?
Session? You mean season, right? Season 5 is half over right now and the rest of the season will be continued in August. I'd recommend just catching up yourself.
You're a scrub if you don't watch all 5 seasons in one session
I struggle to stay awake 12 hours let alone 40.
Just use meth to stay awake. Bonus immersion factor too.
Late pass but this is one of the most powerful videos I've ever seen of the show Also it's got pretty much spoilers from every season so watch at your own risk
Really really good video. But when it ended with xHeather360x I just chortled. What a name to end on.
They just announced the Breaking Bad panel at Comic Con. I really hope I can get in. It's probably gonna be a huge ass event considering it's the final season.
I don't know about anyone else but I am so fucking sick of people making connections between Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle. My flat mate is constantly going on about Hal cooking meth whenever he wasn't in an episode. There are so many actors who perform in multiple shows, why is it that these two get so much attention, it baffles me.

S5 spoilers: [sp]i was rewatching some episodes of season 5 today and realized something. might be a bit of a stretch. theres a scene in i think season 2 where hank throws the teeth from one of tuco's goons into the river. the teeth were encrusted in some kind of valuable material, i think silver. then some guy finds it in the river later. in season 5, mike dies in front of a river. hes staring at it. perhaps the river has some symbolic significance? remember, mike used to be a cop before he went into the criminal business. hank took something valuable from tuco's goon and sort of took advantage of his death. he realized this later and decided to throw the teeth in the river, showing that he's a moral character and doesn't feel comfortable with taking advantage of death. mike kinda had the opposite mindset, became a criminal and was totally okay with killing people for a living. maybe the fact that he dies staring into the river is sort of an indication that he didn't have to choose that way of life and this is the price he's paid for not staying put instead of letting himself get desensitized towards death for his own gain. the river took that way from hank. again, it could be a bit of a stretch but i'd like to hear your thoughts, it does seem that little things like this in the show are generally intentional[/sp]
I'm pretty sure the river is just a nearby river that's convenient for dumping but also looks nice to stare at
I'm pretty sure the river is just a nearby river that's convenient for dumping but also looks nice to stare at
[sp]but he wasn't dumped in the river, and when he was shot he walked out of the car by himself and sat in front of the river. i don't think with this show you should just assume that its nothing more than him wanting to look at a nice river as he was dying, especially with hank throwing the teeth in the river being such a significant display of his self control and morality. i mean maybe the fact that it was a river in both hank and mike's case was just a coincidence but i don't think you should be assuming that, do you think my connection is too much of a stretch? i mean mike also has history working with the police so theres that too[/sp]
I didn't mean Mike I meant Hank. He wanted to get rid of the teeth and throwing it in the river would make it damn near irretrievable.
