If people are still looking for a show to pick up watching, I'd also recommend Southland. It's finished, but it's pretty good and I'd recommend giving it a watch if it comes on.

Well yeah, I just finished season 6.
I can say that Season 5 sucked and that the increasing telenovela factor is getting annoying. But you and me both can apparently vouch for the first 4 seasons at least. And that counts.
On topic:
I won't be able to watch the finale on Sunday. So the wait is an agonizing day longer for me. Which means my first chance to watch it is on Monday.
And I have my immatriculation on Monday, after that comes my time for the last BB episode ever. Talk about old things ending and new ones starting.
It also means that Walt / Heisenberg will always be tied with my college days. I'm honored.

I tried doing a second batch of candy but it also turned into sludge. Blue sludge, though! So at least a step in the right direction. Problem was I didn't cook it long enough on the right temperature. It's a lot of guessing when I don't have a thermometer to go on.
My stepmum managed to recook the green sludge into proper glass-like consistency so we'll retry tomorrow with her in charge of the cooking bit. Hopefully third times a charm and I'll have some glass ready for the finale...

Oh you tried making your own blue rock candy? I haven't tried that yet but I want to tho. I just bought some from my local candy store. Apparently, he had a lot of people come in his shop asking for "meth candy" haha and he didn't watch the show and I told him why there was a sudden influx of people wanting it.

Yeah, I didn't realize how precise the temps are. :v: Luckily stepmum knows this stuff like the back of her own hand. Frankly should have asked her for help from the beginning.
The batch she managed to fix tastes great, though. Really, really sweet! Used vanilla flavoring! If you get the ingredients, definitely try making it!
