I don't think I'd like them to do that, just because [sp]you would already know what would happen, when the Sopranos ended it was unexpected, if you knew about what happened at the ending it wouldn't have the same effect as it did when it came out. Now sometimes those kinds of beginnings can be good, but not for something like Breaking Bad where it keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what could happen next and how this will all end. We all want to see how this all ends, but it's one of those shows where it has to go in chronological order otherwise everything that came before it is ruined. The slight hints at the cold openings are fine enough because they keep you guessing and are very short, and they don't reveal anything right out in the open that anyone could figure out right away that could ruin the progression of the whole season/series. I'm pretty sure there are hints to the ending in the past seasons, but the beauty of how well this was done is astounding because the hints are so tiny that you'd have to rewatch the series just to get it. It's not a show where they can just show what happens at the ending right away.[/sp]

But what we do know about the show is that a happy ending isn't something to expect. Or so it seems at least from the interviews, but they could do anything at this point.

I still think Crawl Space was the best ending ever. It's one of those scenes I watched at least 20 times just because of how good it was. It may have not been the finale ending but god damn it was good. As much as I love Homeland, it was still confusing as to how Cranston didn't get an Emmy for that scene alone.

Went through the whole show again after the hiatus, it only made the waiting hnnnnnng worse.
It cleared some things out though, i sure don't regret it.
