you know i've always tried to make it like that but it doesn't work in the regular post, didn't know using code would do the trick.
People record episodes, or download them afterwards, but might be more inclined to watch the finale live considering, you know, it's the finale
Yeah, I have only watched maybe 5-10 episodes live of Breaking Bad. The Finale was the first one of season 5B that I actually watched when it aired.
[sp]Yeah, the "Mr White..." definitely felt weird.[/sp]
i thought it was perfect. [sp]it kind of illustrated that while the nazis "thought" they intertwined together as some sort of family, but it really went to show that they ultimately didn't matter to each other much. todd not bawling on the ground b/c his uncle/friends died felt very much like todd, same with jack and his plea for mercy. he didn't seem to care or be emotionally affected by the horror he just saw, just more in physical (but not emotional) shock in what just happened. they were all really just only acting in their own self-profit/preservation, and their "brotherhood" was kind of a lie.
in a way, i think the nazis were the only totally morally shit characters, save for maybe emilio in S1, though he had such little air time that it was impossible to determine what his sense of right and wrong were. even characters like tuco who, as evil as he was, clearly had a little sense of morals in the fact that he appeared to regard family as a bond you don't cross.[/sp]
[sp] there is still $69 million out there that jack had hidden.[/sp]
blimey.
who watches just the finale of the show
3.7 million people
Never watched any of the episodes and my friends keep telling me "WATCH IT! WATCH IT!". I think I might start to watch it when we will get a new internet installed on 9th.
How else would he do it than beforehand?
[sp]Walt mentions that Lydia is schedule-oriented and he obviously knows the schedule. And Lydia never changes her routine, which was shown repeatedly (especially with the stevia thing).[/sp]
You don't understand. How did Walt [sp]take an air-tight package made out of paper, open it up, put the ricin in, and get it back in again without making the paper packet look damaged?[/sp]
[sp] there is still $69 million out there that jack had hidden.[/sp]
[sp]which is pretty much irrelevant at the end. what use is $69 million that's just sitting there where no living person knows where it is? not to mention the only living people who know it exists at all are jesse and (probably) skyler. that $69 million might as well just not be there. it's a loose end that ties itself up when jack dies. if the DEA finds it, who gives a fuck[/sp]

oh god you were in that thread too?

[sp]Jessie might know where it is. He's been there for months, he's bound to have heard something.[/sp]

[sp]he probably slipped it in when she was getting up and he was begging her for 2 minutes[/sp]
Honestly, I just like to think of it as [sp] Walt feeling very bittersweet about the whole thing. I think he was basking in what he had created just before he died and he almost seemed proud of it. He felt complete, like he had served his purpose, which is why he died with a smile on his face. [/sp]
A and to me, in that moment, [sp]he was Walt again. Heisenberg was all about MORE. About pushing himself, about growing an empire. Only Walt would go "It's enough. I've done enough, and things will be good for my family. And now, I can let go."[/sp]
That's only my take on it, and I'm only one viewer.
[sp]i wanted todd to hear the lydia call at the end tbh[/sp]
rewatching the finale scenes [sp]walt seeing jesse in the state he's in, their final goodbyes and the crawl space-esque zoom out with walt lying with a smile on his face. manly tears going on right now.
(i look like skyler when walt stole holly)[/sp]
3.7 million people
according to the official facebook page it had 10.3 million viewers
a few million under the walking dead s2 and 3 premieres but still damned good for breaking bad.
as for answering that other guy's question, only an idiot would watch the series finale.
that being said, i missed out on nothing by only watching the buffy finale.
[sp]he probably slipped it in when she was getting up and he was begging her for 2 minutes[/sp]
He left right when her drink came. Maybe he planted it before.
You don't understand. How did Walt [sp]take an air-tight package made out of paper, open it up, put the ricin in, and get it back in again without making the paper packet look damaged?[/sp]
Well pretty much every time lydia goes to the cafe she has to ask for some stevia. [sp]When she sat down there was one pack in there that walt probably put in there prior to her arrival so he probably had lots of time to get the ricin inside the packet.[/sp]
[sp]if he can make a turret i'm sure he can make a believable pack of sugar[/sp]
[sp]Jessie might know where it is. He's been there for months, he's bound to have heard something.[/sp]
[sp]but then again, he might not have. it's not something that really matters at this point, except if jesse somehow needs cash. but then again, give jesse a bunch of drug money straight-up at this point and back to being the neighborhood paper boy. judging from the ending, jesse seems like he's going to get as far away from anything to do with walt or the nazis as he could. that includes that leftover drug money, IF he knew where it was.[/sp]
[sp]i wonder where jesse will go now. it's not as if he has anything, he's just thankful he's free.[/sp]
The finale for Season 5A only had 2.8 million viewers. The fact that the finale had over three times as many viewers really goes to show the power that Netflix and Amazon streaming have for promoting your show. Really hope other producers take note.
i wonder what bryan will do next? all the cast, actually. i'm looking forward to seeing them in other things in the future.
About the Stevia packet:
[SP]All you'd need to do is take the packet, carefully slice a small incision with a razorblade or exacto knife at the base of the paper crimp, where it would be the least noticeable, add the ricin, and add a small amount of some sort of light sealant to the incision.
The slice wouldn't have to be large. . .just enough to funnel the powder in. If he made a paper funnel, the incision could be a bit smaller than the opening of the vial. And, being that small, it wouldn't take much to seal it back.
Walt would have had ample time to get a packet of Stevia, add the ricin, seal it up, and arrive at the cafe. All he'd have to do is go to her usual table, take all the other packets of Stevia out of the caddy, and put the ricin packet in it's place, knowing it would be the one she used. In the end, Lydia's habitual nature killed her.[/sp]

[sp] She didn't even look at it or even examine it when she was retrieving it, she just reached for where she knew the Stevia usually was. It probably could of been a slip of paper with a message saying ' stick this in your tea you dumb shit ' and she probably wouldn't even of noticed [/sp]

didn't you see the need for speed trailer? jesse becomes the next Driver.
He was always Walt, though.
There's a definite theme of duality between Walt and Heisenberg.
