you suppressed it because it was so traumatic
[sp]It's implied that they would have killed Walt, too, if it wasn't for Todd there having so much respect for the man and convincing uncle Jack to let him live.[/sp]
[sp]Ironic, since Walt has no respect for Todd and just watches as Jesse kills him. And he actually regains his respect for Jesse.[/sp]

early season 2

episode name "walt and jesse get nice and messy"
did anyone else find the finale somewhat predictable? it was a good episode, but i wasn't surprised by anything that happened.

After they get stuck out in the desert, Walt pretends he lost his mind and walked around a grocery store naked and came up with this whole elaborate story about how he was walking down the highway or something in a daze. When they release him from the hospital, after diagnosing him with having had a "fugue state," he strips down and puts on the hat and makes a joke to Skyler about how he's going to go to the store.
Oh, my mistake, it's after they're kidnapped and Hank kills Tuco out at that house in the desert.

[sp]I was surprised at the M60 being machinated and Walt poisoning Lydia.[/sp]

Yeah, it was.. and it first I wasn't thrilled with it, but the more I think back on it, the more it feels right.
I was surprised about what happened with Elliot and Gretchen.

walt and jesse get malted and messy
don't even ask what that means

[sp]...and that was the most important part, to me. Ensuring that his objective from day one would be completed. Otherwise it really would have been for nothing. Would have been a depressing end to the story, even if it would have fit the tragic tale of it all.[/sp]

[sp]I wanted it to be a totally depressing ending, like Requiem for a Dream.[/sp]
People complain about how predictable the show was, but I LIKED it.
My roommate put it pretty well one night. . .the show's predictable, but even though you pretty much figure out what's going to happen, it's executed in a VERY satisfying way. You never feel cheated by it.

Really? Before the finale, so many people were riding the "Gretchen and Elliot are SUPER DEAD" train after the end of Granite State.
But it's true. I wouldn't call the ending predictable, but I would call it comfortable. Everything went to plan
But to be honest, I don't see how this finale could not be "predictable". I saw the most random theories all over internet, at least one of them had to be correct. Specially with hints throughout entire season, it wasn't that hard to take a wild guess.
Anything is better than lumberjacking out of nowhere.
I think they did a good job, [sp]I didn't expect how the M60 was actually used by Walt. It was pretty neat.[/sp]

[sp]I found it really hard to picture a way for Walt to actually use the M60 honestly[/sp]
I liked the finale but looking back on it, it's almost bizarre how tidy and happy an ending it was. [sp]The family gets nine million dollars via Grayus Ex Machina, all the Nazis are dead, Jesse lives AFTER he gets to exact his revenge on Todd, Lydia's taken care of, Walt gets to go out on his own terms.[/sp]
Yeah but it isn't a happy ending. It's just an end in terms with our journey with Walt, if it continued we'd see good/bad times ahead for everyone. The important thing is that Walt got to [sp]die thinking he had achieved a happy ending[/sp], or in actual fact had one. Thing is, the show is about Walt, so we'll never know the aftermath.

by "predictable" i'm pretty sure people meant an ending that wasn't a complete twist
The whole episode was Walt being a badass, what more could you have asked for in an ending?
I'm not sure whether this deleted scene from "Dead Freight" was posted:

man walt's a badass
[sp]Just had a thought, what would have happened to Walt if he didnt get shot by the m60? He must have had other plans since by tackling Jesse he clearly showed that he intended on surviving.[/sp]
[sp]I think he threw himself onto jesse to save him from the incoming attack, at the end he even tries to convince jesse to kill him and put an end to his misery. Although I don't know if it's just a bluff from his side because he knew Jesse wasn't able to pull it off.[/sp]

I thought [sp]he was going on the suicidal mission having in mind killing everybody including himself, but only seeing Jesse made him save both of them[/sp]
Or maybe [sp]he wanted to get caught but only after he had tied all loose ends.[/sp]

[sp]i think he planned to be gunned down with the rest but changed his mind to save jesse[/sp]
[sp]that's why he wanted jesse to kill him, but he knew he was dead anyway, that's why he went to the lab[/sp]
So today Aaron Paul was in Idaho doing something at the local middle schools. My sister met him and much to my dismay she didn't an autograph. Apparently he was there as part of an anti bullying/drugs campaign. I'm so fucking jealous.
