So, I just watched the finale. [sp]I was sad to see Walter die, although it did put some closure on the series. Damn, that was a sad ending, though. At least Jesse got away.[/sp]
To be honest, for me the ending just felt like it was any old episode. They could show another episode this week with [sp]Walt waking up in a hospital surrounded by police asking him questions, following Jesse's (attempted?) getaway[/sp] etc etc etc... And I would think nothing of it. It was a perfectly fine episode, but it just didn't feel like a series ender to me.

And Jesse even seems to forgive Walt after everything that Walt did to him. Walt walks through the lab one last time and dies with a smile on his face, undefeated by anyone.
It was all perfect and this ending was more happy than anything. While I(and others) were expecting an ending where everyone loses, we got a relatively good end for our two protagonists. No series of events has gone down so perfectly in Breaking Bad without severe consequences or repercussions.
So the theory is that the alternate(or real) ending will be that the events of the final episode were all a fantasy of Walter. He dreams it all up while in reality, he's dying of cancer in a cabin, Jesse is still a slave, his family is without money, and his wife is being persecuted.[/sp]

[sp]Given the circumstances leading up to the finale, it was the absolute best possible ending for Walt. Just counting the finale, and the spot Walt was in when it started, we got the happiest possible outcome.[/sp]
I'm glad I actually managed to make my brother watch BB. He didn't like the story when he just heard about it. Now he's half-way through the first season and loves it.

Nothing she ever said or did was as bad as what Walt did. Yes she did jump on board with the laundering, but that doesn't mean she instantly deserves all the hate. If you're gonna hate on Skyler, you should hate on Walt equally if not more.

Fly is a masterpiece, period
The first time around I really liked Fly but didn't know why. When I rewatched it I realized that it's because it's pretty much entirely conversation and interaction between Walt and Jesse, and it felt really good to just see them in that environment talking about some deep shit.
