Season 2, Episode 7 will be titled 'Black and Blue' and begin with a stereotypically white rock band calmly singing about a hispanic drug boss named 'El Heisenberg'.
that'd be pretty cool imo
Is it necessary to watching Talking Bad after finishing the series?
If you like cheesy hashtags and terribly unfunny jokes from Chris Hardwick then go for it. Honestly anything interesting or important said by Vince or the cast members has already been mentioned in this thread.
This is still my favorite BB scene. Probably because I can relate so well. :v:
Can anyone translate what he says?
Can anyone translate what he says?
I believe he's saying "We're gonna stomp over those bastards like shit under a duck." His Spanish is kinda rough... and so is mine.
oh man it's been a week already good thing we can still discuss the shit out of this, rewatch the series, and wait for the prequel/spanish version.

I tried to watch the one after the finale. It started with: [sp]"Breaking Bad is over. If you haven't seen the final episode, go watch that now WALTER WHITE IS DEAD."[/SP]

"If you believe that there is a hell, we're already pretty much going there, but I'm not going to lie down till I get there." [sp]Well, it looks like he finally laid down[/sp]
Is it necessary to watching Talking Bad after finishing the series?
I could probably recite you the entire series, the plot and all the details, and I have never seen Talking Bad. So nope, it's not necessary. Talking Bad is probably about the actors talking about shit like how much fun it has been working together with the other actors as well as the creator of the show, etc. [editline]7th October 2013[/editline] Also what is this Spanish BreakingBad that people seem to be excited about? Why? What?
The kid was like 12, I doubt he knew that they were pumping methylamine in barrels. Walt, Jesse, and Todd would have been gone by the time the kid told anyone, even if he did say anything about it.
Todd was under the mindset that for the plan to work, nobody could ever know that the train was even robbed. I kept thinking back to when Todd was asking all the questions about the heist and Walt mentioned how in the end the methlylamine would end up just seeming a little 'watered down' and that if anybody knew they would find out where the methylamine was stolen and amp things up for Walt and Jesse. While I disagree with killing the kid, I would say from a non-moral standpoint it was the best outcome and it seemed to be a binary decision. Kill the kid and get away with it, or be royally fucked if the kid told anyone. There the risk isnt 'can we get away before he tells anyone' but 'does the kid tell anyone?' I think we're a little tainted in that we got a little bit of backstory on the kid. He seemed like a loner who wouldnt tell anyone. If the backstory showed him at his friends blabbing about all the things he saw that day, then it would be completely different. Todd didnt have that backstory so he didnt think of the kid in that 'will he tell/wont he tell' sense. That, and it sets Todd's character up. The way he cares so much about what happens to his friends, being polite, not doing something to wrong anybody. Yet will just shoot somebody in the head if need be.
Todd doesn't care what happens to his friends lol [editline]7th October 2013[/editline] In fact I wouldn't even say that todd has friends in any traditional sense He doesn't have the emotional range for it

[sp]He's dead. :v[/sp] though I'd have to agree with you. It seems like he's unable to even form friendships, just friendly business relations.

What a perfect fucking song to end it on, lyrics, tone... so many emotions evoked from it all. I felt happy and sad, sappy... This production has raised the bar so high for me, my expectations from story telling in a TV series is so high now I'm concerned I'll never be able watch anything again that doesn't come anywhere near Breaking Bad.
I wonder what would have happened if the story continued after the ending, the ending was perfect in my opinion. Also I'm just wondering what the song playing[sp]in the bar is where Walt is celebrating his 52nd birthday?[/sp]
Whoa whoa whoa spoilers man
Sorry <:o It doesn't let me have a spoiler tag and wrapping them manually didn't do anything ;_:

At least he got an appropriately agonizing death [sp]Todd, that is, asphyxiation[/sp], unlike the "head" of the Nazis, heh..
[sp] Not

OMIGOSH THANK YOU
At least he got an appropriately agonizing death [sp]Todd, that is, asphyxiation[/sp], unlike the "head" of the Nazis, heh..
[sp]Yeah, Todd really got the perfect death in my eyes. Also, there are multiple reasons why I think Walt killed Jack immediately, but one of them is probably that he learned his lesson of "let him bleed" from Tuco.[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, Todd really got the perfect death in my eyes. Also, there are multiple reasons why I think Walt killed Jack immediately, but one of them is probably that he learned his lesson of "let him bleed" from Tuco.[/sp]
I thought it was more or less artistic license to have Walt being tempted by greed again, with him just abruptly ending that temptation (because of it destroying his family and what very little was left of his life).

Also, there are multiple reasons why I think Walt killed Jack immediately, but one of them is probably that he learned his lesson of "let him bleed" from Tuco.[/sp]
I just like how he was fed up by the constant deals and manipulative behaviour of the people surrounding him, he couldn't give two shits about his money anymore. [sp]Making the final shot for Jack just so satisfying and heavy.[/sp]
I just like how he was fed up by the constant deals and manipulative behaviour of the people surrounding him, he couldn't give two shits about his money anymore. [sp]Making the final shot for Jack just so satisfying and heavy.[/sp]
It's more like he's [sp]going on a suicide mission, so money means absolutely nothing, he's already got his family backed and he has no use for it, it's not like Jesse wants it either. Money just isn't an incentive in any possible way at that stage, they have no value. The only valuable thing in his life at that point is making sure the nazis die.[/sp]
[sp]most of the money was useless anyway, even though he did work for it i suppose. the money he did end up leaving for his family was plenty.[/sp]
The whole point of getting that mass amount of money though was [sp]for him, as he said in the finale. He did it for him. He stopped doing it for the family way early on. He did it because he liked it and he felt alive and such.[/sp]

I think thats what he meant by saying [sp]that he felt alive[/sp] Just like when you start getting into really big numbers on cookie clicker. Its not about the cookies. It's been discussed already, but does anyone else just emotionally die when they [sp]hear Badfinger's Baby Blue[/sp] again? It just... it really is so perfect for the finale. I still can't get over this.
