Getting so tired of people referring to 'Heisenberg' and Walt being different people, like a literal split in personality. Sure, they're different, but not enough that you can refer to them differently.
they're not different though, they're one in the same. walt changes over the period of the show, he's always himself and doesn't develop another personality. he just grows into the man he always could have been under the right circumstances. and eventually, sees the error of it (to an extent).

Yeah I agree, I don't get why people refer to them as like they're a different person.

I think one of the messages of the show is that we all have this other side of ourselves we can bring out under the right circumstances.
Ffs Walter doesn't have multiple personality disorder or anything.
He's not fucking Gollum

they're worse than people who think walters cancer spread to his brain
they're worse than people who think walters cancer spread to his brain
all the social commentary and character development and walts internal and external struggles?
nope, cancer did it!!!
(imagine thinking this)
I don't agree with that statement that I saw on youtube, however it seemed to have got 50 up votes.
because youtube commenters are an intelligent species
In terms of understanding the show, I get the feeling that the people who frequent this thread are right up there at the top, and our ideas are the most thoughtful and well-supported of them all. Though I wonder if there are people who are part of other forums but read this thread and post things like "Wow these guys are so stupid, how can they think like that?"

Im fairly sure in a Comic-Con panel Vince said that he went to the school and put the ricin in a juice box.
The finale did a good job tying pretty much everything together, but I have like one lingering question:
(S4 Spoilers)
[sp]I wonder if Mike and Gus ever kissed.[/sp]
Did you know, that the rental car company that Kuby uses to rent a van for Walt is the same that's been used by Scully & Mulder in X-Files. I've never noticed that callback.

he didn't [sp]poison brock[/sp] with ricin, he used a [sp]lily of the valley[/sp]
So it is a prequel. Or it's a flashback. Or a dream.
It was confirmed a prequel ages ago.

He didn't explicitly that's how he did it, he just said that's how him and writers imagine Walt would do it. He was a science teacher, so naturally he would know his way around a school. But I don't know if I'd say it's "canon".

i hope they improve it a lot more. i appreciate it's only in very early alpha but like i've said before after the first couple of hours it's not really fun anymore, it's just getting the balance of production/distribution and working your way up gradually.
