One of the videos is blocked in my country. :suicide:
We should post our personal things about the show we'd change. I'd like to see people's ideas.
S5 PART 2 SPOILERS [sp]Personally I'd remove the scene where Hank says goodbye to Marie before he gets killed. It felt too convenient, like an out of place moment for such an emotional goodbye. It felt like convenience and that didn't feel like it fit with Breaking Bad's brutal reality for me[/sp]

S5, EP 13, To'hajiilee
[sp]The shootout at the end, I wish Gomie would have been shot relatively soon and Hank been wounded. I didn't like how the gun action seemed like a bunch of imperial soldiers shooting at other imperial soldiers.
Please don't go into detail how the accuracy in a gunfight goes really low in an actual gunfight: I would have liked to see the shootout end almost as soon as it started, with only 5-30 seconds of shooting in total. Nobody expected Hank and/or Gomie to live after that fight, so in my opinion it was unnecessary to drag the shootout.[/sp]

I think it was deliberate to drag out the intensity and to drag the viewer into it a lot more. If it was over so fast. By the time you process it, it'd be over and done with and you'd not have time to be taken back quite as much.
At-least that's my opinion.

To me it just seemed a bit weird,[sp] most car doors won't stop bullets so ducking behind one still means you can be shot, and the moment where we saw Todd awkwardly shooting his handgun was almost FUNNY. That kinda eats away the intensity of the scene. [/sp]

Agreed. But I guess if it were set out and played out in a more realistic manner, it wouldn't drag in as much of an audience and wouldn't leave enough time to build suspense for what followed. :v:
Split Season 5 into two, full 13 episodes seasons. Then, in right Season 5 we could have [sp]more of Walt being a badass kingpin, better established nazis, Todd and Lydia, more Mike and more of Hank investigation. It could end where Gliding Over All ended[/sp]
After that in Season 6 we could have [sp]much more of Walt and Hank playing cat and mouse, without exposing everything at the first episode, flesh the nazis more, specially Uncle Jack character, make him with Todd and Lydia a real villains, on par with Gus. Then, maybe the Granite State could be made a bit longer, stretched into two episodes, because god damn I loved that episode and it's difficult for me to make that giant time leap (five seasons = one year; one episode = almost 8 months). [/sp]
But then again, thank God it wasn't me that was writing this show, it was pretty much perfect as it is.

I totally agree. As SOON as he [sp]got on that phone to Marie and they're all lovey dovey and shit, it was so mind numbingly clear what was coming next. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it actually worked as a negative for me personally. It removed any doubts I had about what was going to happen.[/sp]
finally finished breaking bad and went back to watch the pilot
it just feels surreal

[sp] i thought it was pretty tragic. hank called marie to tell her that they caught walt and everything was gonna be fine, then the next thing marie hears about hank is that he's dead and walt got away. it wasn't even a "last goodbye", hank didn't know he would be killed, he re-assured marie which made it even more brutal when she found out what happened[/sp]

[sp]For me it felt like Hank was getting a chance to say his final goodbye in an unfitting place. Sure, he could be emotional about catching Walt - but surely that'd be saved for seeing Marie in person or at least the goodbye would have been shorter. I feel like realistically, he'd have called her, said "we got him" or something short and sweet and then brought her along to see him put away.[/sp]
