Just found this deleted scene from Season 2 that I had never seen before.
would have been cool as a flashback in one of the later episodes tbh
#1 rule of lab work, never eat anything in the lab. Terribly disappointed in you Walt.
That was a controlled experiment and he absolutely knew the outcome of mixing in the emulsifier.

I forgot how often 'fuck' was used in the earlier episodes. I thought I read somewhere that they were allowed to use it once per season?

His name is Vince 'G'illigan for a fucking reason
He don't have time for rules

First season was intended to be put on a pay per view network. It wasn't until AMC that they were given that rule. Which doesn't make sense to me since it's censored anyways. And secondly they broke the rule in both halves of season 5.
The best part is, you're so immersed in the story by the end of the show that you don't even notice that there's little to no swearing.
Maybe a "shit" or "goddammit" here and there, but I think the last "fuck" I remember was from "I.F.T" in season 3.
No, there was the written one from Mike, which was censored for whatever reason and still is even on Netflix.
No, there was the written one from Mike, which was censored for whatever reason and still is even on Netflix.
[sp]And a spoken one from Mike, then a spoken one from Hank, and lastly a spoken on from Jesse.[/sp]
And censorship on Netflix is weird. Different Netflix accounts will have different levels of censorship. My Netflix has the cut version of the pilot, with the language still uncensored. From then on it's just random. Seasons 2 and 3 are uncensored, season 4 is, seasons 5 has one F bomb censored and one not. It's just weird.
Talking to my friend who recently started watching. His netflix has the full uncut and uncensored version of every episode. Even the writing on the napkin, censored for me, uncensored for him. We both live in the same area, so it's not a regional thing.
I'm thinking it might have to do with whether or not you have just a streaming plan or a streaming + DVD plan. With the chrome extension holaunblocker, you can view Netflix from the UK and watch the final episodes of Breaking Bad. The extension does not work for people with DVD plans. So when I noticed the differences in censorship, I asked everyone who had full uncut episodes, and they all had just a streaming plan. I'm wondering if that's the cause for this issue as well.

I wonder if netflix accounts with DVD plans have region specific episodes and such. For example: If I had just the streaming plan, I could go to the UK, log in, and use my account. It would work fine and be legal, I would just have access to whatever UK netflix has access to.
Since I have the DVD plan, if I went to the UK and logged in, Netflix would not work. It would tell me I have to be in the US.
I'm wondering if there's a region-free and region specific edits of Breaking Bad. And those with a DVD plan, restricted to the US already, can only view the US designated episodes. And those without a DVD plan do have a region free account, they can watch anywhere they go. I'm guessing those people have their own pool of episodes, uncut and uncensored.
I'm rewatching the series right now, and everything is making me sad because I don't want a lot of this stuff to happen again.
I'm like that one annoying guy in the movie theater that yells "NO! DON'T GO IN THERE!"
I wonder what would have happened if Walt didn't let [sp]Jane die. I guess she and Jesse would have spiraled into addiction and died anyway somewhere else[/sp].

Probably late, still fantastic
My friend started watching this. He just finished the episode where Walt meets Tuco and messaged me "DAYUM." I'm really resisting saying "you haven't seen anything yet."
To think that that ONE RANDOM GUY in the courtyard from "Rabid Dog" that had nothing to do with what was at hand unintentionally set off pretty much everything that happened in Ozymandias.
It's already been explained that [sp]Jesse was so paranoid and out of it that even if that guy wasn't standing there, there would have been a million other things/people to set Jesse off in the same exact way.[/sp]

word, the bluray barrel is supposed to have every episode uncut and uncensored.

If Walt was my science teacher I'd love science class
I got my friend into the show and she loves it. It's funny getting play-by-play on the most intense parts, like Tortuga and particularly the ending of season 4. Really looking forward to seeing how she feels about To'hajiilee.
Why in this show everything, that connected with kids, went wrong?
I mean: [sp]Walt's kids are got in shit and their father is dead, Brock's mother is dead, that girl lost his grandfather Mike, Drew Sharp is dead, Lydia's daugther is alone too.[/sp]
To show the irony that Walt started cooking in order to provide for his kids, and constantly used them as an excuse. And yet he entered a business that nobody is safe from, not even kids.
I also find it ironic that Jesse, the loser junkie, genuinely cared for children and helped them out, whereas Walt, the suburban father, didn't really give two shits about anyone's kids except maybe his own ([sp]although even his own son got the Heisenberg treatment during that family knife fight and the rest of the season. Sure, he got them the money, but he wasn't acting like a father anymore.[/sp]).

Since I've seen every episode, I no longer react the same way to scenes as I did when I first saw them. As such, I enjoy watching reactions of friends and family when they watch it. This applies to every show.
I've gotten some pretty weird looks though when I get people to check out the show and then ask if I can watch it with them. I wonder what would happen if I asked if I could watch them as they watched the show.
Is this licensed or just really shady under the table stuff?
What do you mean?
That was a controlled experiment and he absolutely knew the outcome of mixing in the emulsifier.
There's many reasons why you shouldn't eat or drink anything in a laboratory, even when having a controlled experiment. First of all there could be chemicals on the tables or in the air that would be harmful if you ingested them. The glassware or other containers might not be properly washed and cleaned. You don't want to lead to a cross contamination that way. Also, the behavior of eating or drinking your experiment alone could lead to automatic casual behavior that could be potentially dangerous in the future or to others.

"my incredibly experienced science teacher did something because he understood it completely, i guess i'll do the same"
i don't know anybody who would think that
What episode is this from? I don't even remember this shot.
Season 3 Episode 5. I don't remember it either oddly enough.

Aren't "Shit" and "Fuck" pretty much the only true television no-no's? They're the most censored in any case, from what I observed. Other words seem to be allowed, in moderation.

My guess as to why the scene never made it in, is probably...
A) Timing
B) The fact that it shows Walt getting actual respect or happiness from his job, with the premise being that he hated it, and his life was dead-end.

But see that's why it would have been great as a flashback in a late Season 5 episode, as Walt is realising he still truly cares about Jesse [sp](or at least insofar as still having enough respect from the olden times to not let him continue on as a shackled meth-slave)[/sp] or just remembering his love of science and how he got into the meth business with the way things ended up..
I know it's usually cheesy in other shows but I wanted to see some flashbacks before [sp]Walt died at least[/sp].

what?
what?
Black bar thingy separating Walt from Jr. and Skyler
Definitely one of my favorite shots in the show. So subtle and powerful at the same time.

shit is okay after 8pm, hence why you hear it a lot in the walking dead and breaking bad as well. depending on the station you may be able to hear it earlier.
fuck generally afaik can only be used after 12am.
fuck the fcc.
