Why would you like to assume that Brock literally did nothing wrong to anyone, ever
the first thing Jesse did after escaping was find Brock. Fact.
the first thing Jesse did after escaping was find Brock. Fact.
I dunno. [sp]Previously, he stayed distant (breaking up with Andrea despite his feelings and having Saul give her the money) because he felt responsible and guilty for what happened to them. Now with Andrea dead - something that Jesse could easily blame himself for - he might just stay away from Brock to spare him any more hurt. I wouldn't blame Jesse for getting as far away from the ABQ as he could. Also there's no way Jesse'd be able to adopt the little guy. Most likely he'd end up with his grandmother or someone in his extended family, not some random dude who his mom used to date.[/sp] sorry for being such a downer
[sp]jesse stayed distant from andrea because walt didn't want jesse to go through another jane situation, walt was manipulating jesse. especially after witnessing andrea's murder, and with walt and all the nazis dead, jesse would go to whatever lengths necessary to make sure brock was okay. maybe not adopt him, but at least know he was alive and well. it's like you didn't even watch the show corndog.[/sp]

Vince Gilligan and Breaking Bad writer and producer Peter Gould created the show together and serve as co-showrunners of the premiere season. The series is set six years before Saul Goodman (Odenkirk) meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer." The series’ tone is dramatic, woven through with dark humor.
http://blogs.amctv.com/better-call-saul/2014/07/amc-releases-line-up-of-series-regulars-and-new-photos-for-better-call-saul/

Michael McKean? Where have I heard that name before? Oh great, now I'm going to constantly expect him to talk about 'too much fucking perspective' all the time.
I get the feeling that Vince has a clear end in sight for this too, dis gon be gud
The series’ tone is dramatic, woven through with dark humor.
Well, i was expecting a sitcom. This is better, i think.
Just finished season five. I'm sad now. The void, the emptiness. I want season six.
better call saul will be satisfying to you
Became extremely bored and decided to rewatch episodes to recreate Walt's house in The Sims 3. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/DiXCc2T.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Z9QGcQ7.jpg[/thumb] Accidentally chose the wrong land plot size so I had to make the pool area smaller. Moved the pool area table further away because my sims decided to use it for every meal, instead of the dinning table I placed right by the kitchen. Not a lot of shots for Junior's room, so I just made it an activity room, and there is no side closet for the water heater/crawl space. And of course not everything is exact because of how the Sims 3 handles placement and other interactions. Besides that it, it's still cozy and familiar considering how much Breaking Bad I have watched.

So here's a Kickstarter for... well...
Kilmer and Slash breakout in 'Fearful Symmetry' the pilot for Anastasia, as an elite US Marshals team, that tracks down the most elusive and dangerous fugitives that are on the run. But one fugitive has even them baffled, since they first have to answer the question, is he even alive?
Very basically: the pitch is for two detectives - Val Kilmer as a recovering addict attending twelve-step meetings with other celebrities, and Slash who is playing himself but an undercover cop (also he will be providing the music for the show) - drawn into a mystery spinning out of the ending of Breaking Bad. Also there is a really beautiful actress in there somewhere, it's not entirely clear. Note that he has not confirmed involvement from Kilmer (who has dismissed the project on Twitter) or Slash. He is also a first-time producer. Here's an interview with Mr. Shepherd, where you can get a sense of what his odd thoughts are. "I like the way Breaking Bad ended, but I think they could have done better. That's when I just started writing." "We're not going to be confrontative with Sony and Vince Gilligan if they say no. We are filming the pilot independent of Breaking Bad, so if they do say no, we're ready to go with our own show...If we have to do it independent from Breaking Bad, then instead of dragging out their Walter White, we'll drag out our Walter White." "From what people tell me about Val Kilmer, you don't have to pay him a million dollars. If there's some money there, he'll typically do it." "My initial plan was to find the director before the Kickstarter went off. I find one didn't until two weeks after the Kickstarter started, so we didn't get the video done until three days ago. That timeline got completely blown. We're going to restart on Kickstarter on the first of the month if we don't get funded. By then we'll already have the director and video, so we should do much, much better." [t]http://assets.vice.com/content-images/contentimage/170419/ampm.jpg[/t]
All ten of the first season's scripts are finished along with the treatment. Page 1 and 2 from the pilot's script. Please note Kickstarter doesn't provide for indentation, (people in the industry get touchy about that!)
ANASTASIA PILOT/EPISODE 1 TITLE: FEARFUL SYMMETRY TEASER Scene A COLD OPEN: INT. - METH LAB - NIGHT We see what appears to be Walter White (WW), lying on the lab floor. WW's face is visible. Police officer BARNES (20s to 30s, is standing at his feet. Shouts are heard from outside the meth lab from the other police officers. OFFICERS Holy crap! Jesus! I need a perimeter set up here ASAP! Move out Barnes! Officer Barnes runs towards the other officers who are outside. Four seconds elapse, and we see a person walk up to WW, (we cannot determine gender or their identity), and unknown person reaches down and grabs WW's legs at the ankles. That person then drags WW out, away from the direction the police officers have gone. WW's body leaves a small blood trail/smear. END OF TEASER ANASTASIA'S INTRO PLAYS COMMERCIAL ACT ONE Scene A FROM BLACK: EXT. - COMPOUND - NIGHT We see police officers moving towards the club house from different angles, (crouched, guns drawn). One officer is making combat signals to the other officers with his/her hands, directing them where to go and set up. Another officer is crouched up against the Cadillac; we see a slight flame coming from the trunk. Officer peers over trunk of the caddy, and sees the M60 machine gun rotating by itself. Officer quickly crouches down, gives combat signals to the other officers. They in turn set up a fanning cover perimeter, for two others to move towards the windows of the clubhouse. Those officers rise up and peer in the clubhouse windows with shoulder aimed weapons drawn. BARNES (Whispering) Movement! One of the officers makes a cutting motion across his neck and points towards the Cadillac. We see inside the Cadillac's trunk and an officer pulls the ground wire from the battery, stopping the machine gun's movement. He/she then flips up the receiver of the M60. Then the officer gives a thumbs up motion towards the others.

Now understand that I have zero approval from Vince Gilligan and Sony to do this. I realized very early on in the project, that unless you want to go into a depressing, downward, emotional spiral, don't include anyone in the entertainment industry! The entire plan from day one is to make the pilot, and then present it to Sony and Vince Gilligan for approval. Absolutely no guarantees here at all folks. But, we are filming the pilot, Breaking Bad dependent, and independent. So if we do get a no, we will be prepared to go forward anyway. [...] you must realize that Anastasia is a stand alone show in itself. The way I like to explain it is, in season one (1) we are grabbing our boards, and riding the wave Breaking Bad created. But in doing that, we are creating our own wave, and Breaking Bad is invited to ride along with us.
This is the second-most ridiculous, overconfident Kickstarter I've ever seen (after Lore, of course).
"I like the way Breaking Bad ended, but I think they could have done better.
How? Seriously, how could they have ended it better? It struck a great balance between closure and open.
How? Seriously, how could they have ended it better? It struck a great balance between closure and open.
This guy is delusional, don't expect any kind of logic from him.
Just finished watching this a couple days back since the last 8 episodes finally appeared on Netflix (goddamn Netflix Finland sure took their sweet time with Season 5b), and i've gotta say that it was the best series ever. It had the perfect balance of a little bit of everything; drama, action, thrill and humor. Most series get boring as fuck at some point and start dragging on, but not Breaking Bad. After finishing an episode i just had to watch the next one, especially after [sp]"Gliding Over All", when Hank realized that Walt is Heisenberg and shit started to approach the fan.[/sp] And Jesse is the best character in any series ever Bitch.
"From what people tell me about Val Kilmer, you don't have to pay him a million dollars. If there's some money there, he'll typically do it."
Hahahahahaha is this a joke? That is like the complete opposite way you promote a TV show. [editline]19th July 2014[/editline] Oh my god, I implore you all to watch the Kickstarter video. It's amazing.
How? Seriously, how could they have ended it better? It struck a great balance between closure and open.
In another interview he says "I haven’t liked a lot of the writing on my favorite shows and movies," which makes less sense the more you think about it.
Speaking of that Kickstarter:
Did u see there's a goofball on kick starter wants to make a sequel to #breakingbad starring me? Americans are never happy with a good thing.
https://twitter.com/ValEKilmer/status/489589002429677569 :v: Also, the Kickstarter was cancelled.

Thought it might be cool to have a Breaking Bad piece in my art gallery for next month. I've been obsessed since I caught on in season 2. I LOVE Breaking Bad! Holy shit. [sp]Hank knows! I couldn't believe that Walt had all of Mikes guys killed, just like that. I thought it was said that...the kid-shooters uncle was smalltime? Not some super-duper neo-nazi death cult. I may have missed it, but it looks like the Lawyer got away unscathed, though he was on the list.[/sp]
