Considering the recent Breaking Bad wrap party, it seems like they're done filming the final episode. It's crazy, filming for the first half of Season 5 didn't even begin until the end of March 2012. They weren't even done writing all the episodes by this time last year. Is editing and post-production really going to take up the next four months?

Typically once a new season airs the previous one is able to go up. Doesn't always happen instantly though. Not sure how they'll handle it with this since it's still technically season 5. Google Play as of now is counting season 5 as being complete, not sure how netflix or other companies will. As of right now you can buy "complete season 5" on google for a price lower than seasons 2, 3, or 4. It's that cheap because there are only 8 episodes, but if in the future they add more episodes to the season 5 list, they would most likely be obligated to give them to you for that lower price. I'm taking a guess that they might just make the last eight episodes "Season 6."

I think it's dumb keeping it named season 5 when you have a freaking 9 month hiatus. I mean yeah just the title it doesn't matter. But from a marketing standpoint it's confusing. I swear the only reason they just consider a single season is because of [sp]the M60 flashback. Wouldn't want to cross-season that now would we?[/sp]

I don't think the first half was ever on the US Netflix, although they did update it with the Season 5 artwork. UK/Ireland has had it for months now, not sure if it's still there.
Damn. It seemed like they really stepped up the security for the first half on Season 5, considering that none of the supposed leaks turned out to be true. Considering that they're filming/recently filmed the final episode, it's likely that's the script the dude stole. Hopefully it isn't already up on the Internet somehow.
On another note, Amazon has a pre-order page for the DVD of the first half of Season 5. Looks like the first half and the second half might get separate DVD/Blu-ray releases.
