Ah that's bullshit. I hate it when companies do that. It's nothing but a shameless cash grab.
It's not a shameless cash grab. Eight episodes aired, and then no more for nine months. Usually that would be considered 2 different seasons. Left and right people are begging for the DVD/Netflix release. This was a bad move on AMC's part, not any retailer. [editline]26th March 2013[/editline] It's confusing everybody. Google play is selling what they say is the complete 5th season, just 8 episodes. Netflix put up the 5th season, just 8 episodes, then took it down afterwards. You can't blame them for getting confused. 8 episodes air week after week, then they stop with no new episodes planned until about a year later, what did they expect people to think? Even the commercial for 5x08 said "Season Finale." [editline]26th March 2013[/editline] Not to mention the price should be relative to the amount of content, so selling two sets of 8 separately should be more or less the same price as if they sold it as a single package. This may apply more to digital sales, not sure how retail handles it.
Damn. It seemed like they really stepped up the security for the first half on Season 5, considering that none of the supposed leaks turned out to be true. Considering that they're filming/recently filmed the final episode, it's likely that's the script the dude stole. Hopefully it isn't already up on the Internet somehow.
Man I would be so pissed if someone spoiled the ending of the show for me right now, hopefully that wasn't the case.
Regarding the theft, I posted this in the SH thread on this, but I'll post it here too:
TMZ has a recording of Cranston's call to the police, it's nothing exciting, but if you want to listen to it anyway:

The thief was just arrested fyi http://www.thewrap.com/tv/article/breaking-bad-script-stolen-bryan-cranston-82416
He was already arrested when the story was out, this is just Sony sending out a press release about it. The script is still out there.
i bet its going to be leaked why are amc shows always leaked aaaaaa
Today's the last day of shooting for the show, I think Dean Norris (Hank) finished his shooting yesterday, and RJ Mitte (Walt JR aka Flynn) finishes his stuff today.
God that's gotta suck. 5 straight years of working with these people, now it's all over.
God that's gotta suck. 5 straight years of working with these people, now it's all over.
What? There's gonna be a season after 5, right?
What? There's gonna be a season after 5, right?
No? 5 is the last one. The end game was set up in the first half of season 5, what with [sp]Hank finding out who Walt is[/sp] and all
What? There's gonna be a season after 5, right?
Lol what? How did you not know this. Everyone's been talking about how this is the end for months now. (But I sure as hell wouldn't complain if they added another season or two)
Actually I'd prefer a satisfying ending than to see the show drag on until it falls into mediocrity *cough* Dexter *cough*.
Actually it feels like they're ending the show a little early. I think they could easily add in a season or so of Walt becoming a Gus-level drug lord
[sp]But he more or less become Gus-level drug lord is season 5. Earning lots of money, ordering people killed, distributing his drugs to Europe...[/sp]
[sp]But he more or less become Gus-level drug lord is season 5. Earning lots of money, ordering people killed, distributing his drugs to Europe...[/sp]
Eh somehow it just feels like they rushed that little bit
[sp]Walt doesn't have it IN him to be that kind of drug lord. He wants the power, but the truth is he's just some old fuck who happened to strike it lucky on multiple occasions. The death of the kid on the motorcycle hammered that home. There is no way Walt would have stayed on top for long at the rate he was going.[/sp] At least that's my perception of it.
Show was never intended to go past 3 seasons. Luckily seasons 4 and 5 turned out very well, otherwise I would've complained about them going back on their word.
3 seasons? that would've been way too little, jesus. I'm not particularly fond of 5 seasons.
We're at the climax of Walter's "growth" or character development so I really don't see how this can be pushed any further. I'm happy as long as there is good development and good closure kind a like The Wire 5 seasons they didn't push it too far but the development of each and every character was just perfect and the closed it off before the show really became stale, repetitive or just too dam drawn out.
Watched "Drive" last night. It was very tough seeing [sp]Bryan Cranston's character dying[/sp] even though he was a prick in the movie i can not dissociate him from Walter White.
Bryan Cranston wasn't a prick in Drive
Bryan Cranston wasn't a prick in Drive
Well, he told the bad guys where the good guy was living. Sorry, i'm not too good with names :v:

That's how BSG did it, that's how Doctor Who did it. They end up making you pay twice for one season.
..what? There's a whole scene in fifty-one about it when Skyler doesn't do it straight away. How the fuck do you miss that it's his age?
I didn't pick up on it when Walt did it in Live Free or Die. I thought he was making an omega Ω or something before realising that he'd been making a "52" after I'd seen the birthday scene in Fifty-One. It cooould be symbolic; omega is sometimes used to mark a person's year and/or date of death. He probably resides in New Hampshire, and what he is going to do with the ricin and his newly acquired M60 is anyone's guess.[/sp]

Poor guy... The actual art itself is excellent though - the facial structure, lighting etc. Is it a trace or freehand copy?
