Just because an episode isn't full of shooting and explosions, does not make it filler. Everything in this episode tied into the main plot. It could be ranked as one of if not the least filler episodes of the series.
And if you've seen season 4, you should know this show is amazing with tense scenes. Box cutter, Hermanos, salud, bug, crawl space, end times, and face off were all incredibly intense.
maybe i'm using the wrong term
i haven't encountered scenes like this before, this is something new.
it's like when you watch the news and they don't switch to the next footage and they just sit there
[sp]I think Marie being a kleptomaniac is going to lead to her stealing Walt and Skylar's kids.
Maybe in that night or something, under the cover of shadows and shit.[/sp]
Star Trek script?
That entire scene is showing Jesse's state of mind IMO. The fact that he is just sitting there oblivious to what is going on in the world, just thinking.
I think [sp] Not to mention Walt's "I'll send you to Belize."[/sp]
[sp]what if walt literally does send saul to belize for a vacation??[/sp]
[sp]I'm really thinking about what Jesse is going to say to Hank in the interrogation room. At this point who do you think he hates more, Walter or Hank?[/sp]
Don't bother watching Low Winter Sun, the promo is put up on YouTube almost immediately after it airs.
but Gale's in it
christ almighty i forgot how much you guys love running commentary
(its dumb just watch the show, shut up, and talk after)

you come in and say this
long after the commentary has ended
?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

and the scenes don't need to be irrelevant to the main plot to not be filler.

you realise the commentary doesn't vanish though right
it creates like 10 pages of useless bullshit
it's still there

are you obliged to read through all the pages?
like couldn't you just skip to the end, and not make another post of useless bullshit?

MAN I HOPE HANK DOES A THING
OH MAN HE DIDNT DO THAT THING HAHA OH WELL TIME FOR MY NEXT POINTLESS SPECULATION

I must say, I was really surprised [sp]with how Lydia handled things. One thing that made me hopeful was the fact that Declan some sort of accepted the fact that Walt get out of business. I wonder if Lydia won't, and she will try with Todd's and his uncle's help bring him back. [/sp]
And with Skyler, [sp]I begin to like her again. She was the most reasonable in this episode. I don't want it to be true, but it looks like it will be Walt & Skyler vs. Hank & Marie feat. Jesse[/sp]
[sp]jesse is the bullet in the chamber[/sp]
wait what
i never thought of that
they wouldn't really [sp]kill saul imo, he's the comic relief[/sp]
[sp]I feel that the show's creators pride themselves in not being predictable. Just because there is a possible spinoff with Saul doesn't mean he will slide through this easy.
IMO, I think Saul could "go to Belize," just to put people on their toes, and the spinoff could be a prequel and include a lot of backstory to Saul, Mike, Huell, etc and be more relevant to the original series.[/sp]
Vince Gilligan: [sp]"The White family does not go for the tableside guacamole."[/sp] :v: (Teaser for next week)
Time will tell what that means.
So my guess is: [sp]Ricin in the guacamole.[/sp]
last episode just had the ending scene
some films/series get it right, but it needs better tension
[sp]hank and skyler staring blankly at eachother doesn't really give that effect[/sp]
There's a lot of emotion behind that scene though, [sp]Skyler is obviously conflicted about whether to turn in her husband and Hank wants to take him down by any means necessary[/sp]. You have to read into scenes like this.
Not sure if spoilers.

It's still too long. It's like the end of Drive all over again
So why do people like Todd? I can't stand his character. Please, someone give me your input.

you're literally the only one who's complaining
So it's kinda interesting that it seems to be going the way of [sp]Walt and Skylar Vs Hank and Marie. Might end up in a few interesting scenes[/sp]
[sp]I also really hope they don't kill off Saul. I don't want it be another Mike situation, just let him go off peacfully[/sp]
So why do people like Todd? I can't stand his character. Please, someone give me your input.
How can you not stand him? He is literally so bland, so underdeveloped with next to no screen time. This isn't a bad thing, however, because he's generally helpful and hardly ever obstructs a goal, he's kinda like Daryl from the Walking Dead.
you're literally the only one who's complaining
i shouldn't be though.

daryl is a lot more likeable in my opinion, and he's not really underdeveloped, hes a pretty important character.
i find todd really annoying too, can't put my finger on why exactly
Anyone else wondering what the [sp] red soles of lydias shoes mean [/sp]?
Anyone else wondering what the [sp] red soles of lydias shoes mean [/sp]?
It means that this shoes are really expansive - it's a signature of french designer Christian Louboutin.
From an interview with Betsy Brandt:
[sp] Like if I had my way, I'd have slapped her, and then told her to slap me, and then I’d slap her again, and then we’d just make out. At least once. But that day I got the feeling that it wasn't going to happen.[/sp]
lol
I like this fan theory:
Walter makes meth -> becomes Heisenberg.
Walt Jr. does meth (with Louis, of course) -> becomes Flynn.
Totally makes sense, it explains his absence currently! He's trying to find quality crystals now that Heisenberg's stopped!
I like how todd's one of the most "bad" characters yet he doesn't at all act like it. Same with Lydia. It's interesting.
Todd could be the sequel to Dexter.
[sp]But it'll suck.[/sp]
