So last night, there was a Breaking Bad screening of "Gilding Over All" and a discussion from the cast and crew, hosted by Conan O'Brien.
No clues as to what happens but they all expressed great excitement and satisfaction with the way it all plays out. The only things that crept out was [sp]Walt Jr eventually finds out and a showdown of sorts with Walt and Hank.[/sp] These are both obvious though, didn't reveal any details about how either happens within the show
Just noticed that in season 5 Saul is still wearing the ribbon from the [sp]plane crash.[/sp]

Whenever Saul appeared, first thing I'd do is look to see if he was wearing it.

It's still less than a year later, but it's hard to remember that fact when it's been so much longer in real life. That and nobody else is wearing it anymore.
If you could only show one episode to convince a friend to watch Breaking Bad (and to get the general feel of the show) which episode would you show? From any season.

The pilot.

Fly.

Was thinking the pilot as well but preferably an episode without nudity/sex scenes (which the pilot has like the only scene of female frontal nudity in the series).

You can't show him anything but the pilot because it'd spoil too much plot and he wouldn't get it
Well my favourite episode is Half Measures, but it is quite a spoiler-filled episode. I do agree the Pilot should be the first one to watch, but if that weren't the case, I would possibly show them One Minute. Some really great scenes between characters, and damn, that fight between the Twins and Hank at the end is incredible, it would definitely make me want to watch the whole series after seeing that one.
I can really only say the Pilot because all the other favourites include stuff that happened previously and you can't really feel those deep impacts otherwise.
Either something focused on Jesse and Walt cooking in the van, or Mike and Jesse on an adventure.
Episode with [sp]killing Don Eladio[/sp] is also great, but kinda spoilerish.
i'd definitely go with the pilot.
you see walt start to deteriorate, pull off the usual shenanigans of close calls, and still bangs skylar at the end.
what more can you ask for?
Honestly try to show him the pilot and episode 2. Wasn't a huge fan of the pilot first time I saw it, but by the end of episode 2 I was hooked.
The beginning of Walter White's end will take place on August 11.
AMC announced today that the back half of Breaking Bad Season 5 will kick off on Sunday, August 11 at 9/8c. Only eight episodes remain for what many consider to be the best show on television.
God damn, my birthday is the 10th :v:
I'm having bacon!
In other news, somebody tried to poison Obama with Ricin, apparently.
Was hoping it would be earlier.

At least Dexter will have nearly finished so people who watch both don't have to follow two final seasons at the same time for long
Goddamn, August 11? I seriously thought it would begin airing in July.
At least the premiere is the day before my birthday. Last year, "Dead Freight" aired on my birthday.
Fuck, so basically school will be starting back up for me the day after it comes back
