Ah. [sp]The traits thing only applies to bigger kills though. Krazy 8 was Walt's first up close and personal kill. I shouldn't have to explain why Gus was a big deal. Mike was a big deal too, he was the first person Walt killed that wasn't actually a threat to his or Jesse's safety. Jesse, Skyler, and Saul would all be pretty major kills if any of those fan theories prove true. Two nameless drug dealers didn't have much of an impact.[/sp]

It is stupid to interpret it as a behaviour that he picked up the same as the food thing but it is very likely that it is a deliberate visual callback to Gus as a narrative device to show how Walt is turning into him.
i dunno, i don't think the towel thing is just a coincidence. seems like a pointless detail to just include and it'd have to just coincidentally mirror what gus did, i feel like it was more likely intentional
