[sp]i don't think i'd have watched brba if there wasn't the whole jesse-walt dynamic. jesse being young and fairly experienced with crime and walt being old and incredibly experienced with science and shit. one of my favourite scenes is when they're in the desert and make a huge batch and work out how much it'll sell for then high five eachother, it's just so nice
and of course[/sp]

I don't get why were using spoilers, anyone not caught up in breaking bad still shouldn't be reading threads about it when it's on the final season

I miss RV cooking with Walt and Jesse :(
Walt [sp]has sold off the house he'd used while in Gus' employ[/sp], hasn't he?
[sp]A nice comparison between Todd and Jesse was brought up recently. Todd and Jesse are both young men. They both look up to Walt as a sort of mentor/father figure. They both respect him by calling him Mr. White. And overall they both obey as well as try to impress him. The big difference between them is that Jesse hates the concept of killing someone, even to save himself. He feels an incredible amount of guilt when bad things happen to innocent people. Todd of course takes extreme measures without a second thought or any remorse.
They both represent Walter in different points at the show. The old Walt would only ever kill if it meant saving a life. Walter at this point is willing to kill not out of physical defense, but to save himself from being caught. Jesse only killed to save his life and Walt's. Todd has only killed to save himself legally speaking, not life or death, or to gain more power like when they overtook Declan's operation. Similar to how Walt killed Mike (and almost killed Lydia) for very petty reasons.
Jesse was basically Walt's right hand, and even like a son to him throughout the first four seasons. But when Walt transformed into the monster he is now, he got a "new Jesse," which fits his personality now.[/sp]
[sp]As much as like your post I think it's worth mentioning than unlike Jesse who needed to be manipulated to do a lot of things Todd has a strong henchman mentality. It's not just violence he has no problem with. He will do anything you want as long as you are his current "boss". It's hard to say if he actually has his own plan but so far he acted only as a tool for Walt and Lydia.[/sp]
[sp]it's obvious todd just wants to be a criminal for the sake of being a criminal, maybe he enjoys it or maybe he likes the "cool factor" or power. i don't think we know his motives, do we? i'd like to see why he got into it, his backstory could be interesting[/sp]

And from that same episode, what is personally for me the funniest part of the whole show;

Keep pressing 7 for maximum win.
Soo it airs in 2 hours, is that correct?

Early seasons Jesse was adorable.

Why can't everybody just use UTC
Why can't everybody just use UTC
why can't you google time zone conversion
Yeah, anyone who thinks that Walt didn't care for Jesse at any point or for any duration during Breaking Bad are overlooking a lot. It didn't exist in the beginning of their partnership, and surely not now, but for a period of time there was more to it then Walt just using Jesse.
Like when [sp]Walter goes to find Jesse in that den after Jane dies. Mike insists that Walt shouldn't go himself and that it's dangerous and under watch frequently, but Walt goes anyway.[/sp]
Walt still cares about Jesse. If he didn't Jesse would be dead by this point.
If Jesse was acting the way he is now under the employment of Gus, Tuco, hell even Emilo... all of them would have put a bullet in the back of his fucking head by this point. The fact that he's even still alive is evidence enough that Walt still cares about him.
why can't you google time zone conversion
I did.
It still would be better if everyone just stick to one thing instead.

I think at this point it's more of a line that Walt does not want to cross (Killing Jesse). He remembers that he used to care about Jesse, and maybe he tells himself he still does, but he's manipulated him so many times to further his own goals that I find it hard to believe he cares at all. Walt wants Jesse to like him/forgive him now because Walt needs to believe he's capable of being that same person Jesse once looked towards (Walt was particularly upset at Jesse's relationship of Mike at the end of 5A).

Speaking of which - what song do you think will be played at the ending scene? I think it may be something that already was featured, some reference to the beginnings.
Whatever it will be it's gonna have a hard time beating "Black" at the end of Season 4. Goddamn that ending was brilliant.
oh good ol' jesse

Walt kills a fly and so in the finalé he grows wings and becomes Flysenberg.

To the people who read too deeply into Walt adopting the habits of those who he kills:

The really obvious answer right now is El Paso by Marty Robbins.
Anyone know of any sites that will stream tonights episode?
How many hours till the episode?
The really obvious answer right now is El Paso by Marty Robbins.
I've heard this song before, and I remember someone already send me that in context of Breaking Bad, but once again I'm oblivious - why it's so obvious? Besides the very obvious lyrics. Although I'm not sure whether the writers would [sp]end the series to fit an old song. It would be very... lazy.[/sp]
EDIT: Nevermind, checked the lyrics exactly - [sp]Girl mentioned in song, Feleena = FeLiNa, Breaking Bad finale episode title[/sp]
What are the elements Fe, Li and Na?
What are the elements Fe, Li and Na?
Iron, Lithium, Sodium, those matter?
Damn ninjas.

No one knows. But if anything can come out of this elements it's probably [sp]some sort of battery.[/sp] But I think answer to this will be much more simpler.
How many hours till the episode?
The episode airs at 9:00 PM EST, and it's now 3:25 PM EST. So roughly 5 and a half hours from the time of me making this post.
