Person of Interest (CBS) - Film, Television and Music

I don't know why they make seaons of 20 odd episodes in America. Even with breaks. 13 episodes or less is the greatest format. Keeps things concise.

I bailed on this show in the first season because it just felt like another tame network TV procedural. But people keep talking about it and I get the impression it got better. Did it really get better? If so, what season should I jump in at? Preferable one with copious amounts of Amy Acker. :zoid:

At the same time the overall story is kept up within every single episode to [I]some[/I] degree. Obviously there are filler episodes but they don't feel weak or half arsed IMO. It also helps that all the cast are brilliant and likeable in their own way. I haven't seen any of series 3 / 4 yet but i have no reason to think it's getting worse.

It's hardly a procedural anymore, though we still get the occasional filler which isn't bad imo. Yes, i think the show is better now, but it was doing great as a procedural.
