So they don't only want rid - they want it out the door ASAP?
So they don't only want rid - they want it out the door ASAP?
Looks like.. And yeah, confirmed last season on CBS
POI deserves better than what ever the fuck CBS's been doing with it. I hope to god someone with a damn brain gets the chance to pick it up (clutching at straws i know).
This show is really good. Each season gets better and better, IMO and I feel a connection to the characters and their quirks.

HOLY SHIT. This show just went nuclear..
But I don't want it to end :( When I started this thread, I just thought the concept was neat and the cast was interesting. I didn't know how much the show would turn itself on its head and become what it has... Alas, criminally underrated.
First Episode for Season 5 aired today!
S5E1 spoilers [sp]That was pretty good. I'm kinda curious what Root's new identity is going to be, and how she's going to keep it up against Samaritan/if she's even going to be doing stuff for the Machine anymore?[/sp] Potential E2 spoilers [sp]The comic-con clip of them booting the Machine up and it registering them as the wrong people is probably at the start of next episode.[/sp]
excite.
Fucking hell that was a good episode. [Sp] The Cell processor redeemed. Finally. [/sp]
CBS loves person of interest so much that they took down all the videos, including the latest episode and the commentary they put up 5 minutes ago.
That was intense
If they ever stop being idiots, the link to the commentary is http://www.cbs.com/shows/person_of_interest/video/H1NdcCVKj3TM0EyhPMeFUtqViNCmufGa/watch-the-person-of-interest-premiere-episode-with-exclusive-commentary/
that'd have been a great episode if it wasn't for [sp]the painful product placement of the machine literally being powered by ps3[/sp]
that'd have been a great episode if it wasn't for [sp]the painful product placement of the machine literally being powered by ps3[/sp]
It's a real thing. What's the point of lastgen console product placement anyway? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_3_cluster Nitrogen tanks in NY are also real thing: http://www.popsci.com/those-nitrogen-canisters-nyc-streets-are-keeping-your-internet-cables-cool
that'd have been a great episode if it wasn't for [sp]the painful product placement of the machine literally being powered by ps3[/sp]
It's not product placement, it's actually just a really smart idea. The [sp]PS3 processor was often advertising as being able to take advantage of being connected with other electronics running on a similar processor to increase processing power and that actually worked, it's just that it turned out to be a pain in the ass to develop for and almost no one made any other stuff using that processor. The way they do it would actually probably totally work. In fact, there's been several cases where some research group actually connected a bunch of PS3s and ended up with a really powerful computer. The Air Force Research Laboratory even built a proper supercomputer out of almost 2000 PS3s.[/sp]
It's not really advertising anyway as they never said anything about Sony or said the word playstation. Plus if it was it would have been the ps4.
I still find it funny how the machine[sp]is so slippery it tried to decompress itself by going through the PSU cables[/sp]
I still find it funny how the machine[sp]is so slippery it tried to decompress itself by going through the PSU cables[/sp]
I know it was probably done for dramatic purposes, but just imagine being blind, deaf and squezeed by hundred times into the box and then you see way to escape this.
The OP has been updated with some nifty art provided by _demolisher_. Many thanks to you!
Awesome episode. Couldn't have asked for more, but of course they're going to be dicks and give me more anyway with the new episode airing tomorrow.
So stoked for another episode tomorrow.
Shit, that was a good episode. :dogcited: Is it just me or is this the first time Fusco's kneecapped anybody? IIRC he's previously only gotten killshots and straight up arrests. Actually spoilers: [sp]Is it just me, or does that end stinger give anybody else the feeling the Machine is recruiting for a war against Samaritan? It certainly labeled him as "Recruit", for a second, but we don't know what for, yet.[/sp]
[sp]Umm... that was SPOV, not MPOV.[/sp]

Well, that's hell of a bug, Finch! Holy shit, I think it's one of the best episodes yet.
[sp]Was that not Samaritan recruiting?[/sp] --- What ever became of Control?
Noone knows
