Im glad that it was ultimately left possible that The Master / NuMissy grabbed some tech on the way out to continue the project with 3W... Funny how she gives a similar speech to him about not being so different. Missy started off wanting him to be like her, then by the end she wanted to be like him. Lots of deleted scenes ahoy.
All the other deleted scenes are here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcqt_jA1Z-_TeoT1zVYd-gQ/videos [editline]4th July 2017[/editline] There are some really good scenes in there, worth watching. (apparently there's one missing from Lie of the Land tho)
I'd love for him to be a cCompanion for a bit and then just be like "Ha! I'm the Master, you fool, I've been sabotaging you this entire time!" Something cheeky like that would be great.
so this is how they can bring rory back
Dunno if it's been mentioned yet, but there was a cool little nod to Last of the Timelords in The Doctor Falls: right at the start, Simm pushes the Doctor around in a wheelchair exactly the same way he pushes old Doctor around in Last of the Timelords
oh damn, i didn't even make the connection
Goodnight [regular posting] until December, Doctor Who thread. I'll miss you.
Goodnight [regular posting] until December, Doctor Who thread. I'll miss you.
at least we might have another spike when the trailers for christmas come/when the next doctor is announced/when chib starts filming [editline]6th July 2017[/editline] At the end there Moffat addresses the Master "dying".
Quick question, did we ever find out who was behind Gus in 'Mummy on the Orient Express'?
About a week of Christmas filming left. He's-a-coming.
Quick question, did we ever find out who was behind Gus in 'Mummy on the Orient Express'?
I don't think we did. I'm still kinda disappointed he didn't show up again, thought he'd be a recurring villain.
About a week of Christmas filming left. He's-a-coming.
And still no announcement Surely they will tell who the next Doctor is soon?
Unless they film the regeneration in a studio, or a week before Christmas day, like the pre-credit scene in World Enough And Time
Quick question, did we ever find out who was behind Gus in 'Mummy on the Orient Express'?
Mathieson said in DWM that he wants (wanted now i guess) to do more with Gus, like a recurring villain in his stories. I can't remember exactly what he said, could someone refresh my memory?
Gus was going to return in Oxygen but didn't: http://www.jamiemathieson.com/return-of-gus
So the Doctor Who Experience is closing up shop in the Autumn. I've got a week off in August, would anyone here who's been recommend going before it goes?
So the Doctor Who Experience is closing up shop in the Autumn. I'd like to go one more time before it closes but nobody I know irl would want to :(

lets do it girls only
hell yes bitches
Enjoy it over there, I'm stuck on the other side of the pond with only an unofficial LEGO museum in an old schoolhouse a couple hundred miles away in an ex-coal town to entertain me.
And still no announcement Surely they will tell who the next Doctor is soon?
I don't want to know who the next Doctor is, I want it to be a surprise. I've had it ruined every other time because I knew who I'd see, didn't feel so special.
So the Doctor Who Experience is closing up shop in the Autumn. I've got a week off in August, would anyone here who's been recommend going before it goes?
It's definitely recommended! My uncle took me there a couple of years ago, when the Capaldi hype was still fresh. I'm sure they have added a lot more since then.
I went during 11's time and it was brilliant, I would love to go again before it closes.
Same - it was a blast there, liked seeing some of the props and the tardis consoles. (And when the staff wasn't looking, a quick cheeky button press here and switch flick there)
That's like my biggest pet peeve from working in a museum.
Hey. I'm careful. Plus, I probably care more about the consoles than some of the staff do and I wouldn't want to break them. At least its not as bad as Peter's missadventures. (Roughly 17:30 when they start talking about relevant stuff)

http://www.doctorwho.tv/whats-new/article/capaldi-mackie-lucas-and-more-for-doctor-who-panel-at-comic-con
BBC America have announced a very special Doctor Who panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, featuring the stars of Series 10 and a look ahead to Peter Capaldi’s finale, the 2017 Christmas Special. Returning to Hall H on Sunday July 23, 2017, BBC America’s bringing its most anticipated Doctor Who panel yet with: • Peter Capaldi (the Twelfth Doctor) • Pearl Mackie (Bill) • Matt Lucas (Nardole) • Michelle Gomez (Missy) • Mark Gatiss (writer and actor) • Steven Moffat (showrunner) Moderated by Chris Hardwick, the panel will give fans an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special – the final starring Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor and written by Emmy®-winning lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat
Very telling about how much nepotism this show enjoys when Gatiss is there for no real reason. Moderated by Chris Hardwick. When is this guy going to stop getting gigs?
